I've been getting acrylic done for just about 5 months now at another local place and honestly can't keep up with them. They looked horrendous by the time I had the chance to go. Last minute, I went by Oasis to see if they could help me take them off and just have a gel manicure. They said they were too busy and I'm so glad they did. I then called creative, told them I could be there in 15 and said it was fine. When I got there I waited just 5 min, picked out my color and had Lisa take me on. She was meticulous and careful. My nails came out gorgeous!!! Very clean and she didn't charge for the time it took for her to take acrylic off, I made sure to tip well. I can't go on enough about how great this place is. I've been back many times since my first visit and each is better than the last. Today I picked out a polish for my toes that looked like a perfect match to my dip powder nails, but after they were dry they ended up a much different color. I got my nails done a little over a week ago and my thumb nail broke on the corner yesterday. I stopped and asked them when they could fix it since I'm in a wedding tomorrow. This is usually my go to place for a mani/pedi, but my experience today was so subpar that I don't know if I'll go back again. The woman who worked on my nails was Mia. First, she did a sloppy job of taking off my old gel polish. I had to point out a few spots she missed. She seemed to begrudge me pointing out the spots that still had gel. Then, she was rough when working on my cuticles to the point that I said "ow!" out loud and asked her to be gentler. She skipped the step of applying cuticle oil entirely. Then, when she applied the actual polish, she did a very sloppy job. And no offer for massage at the end, like they usually do. She must be new, but I would avoid her if you can. I passed by Creative Nails last weekend and a sign advertising a Mani/Pedi for $30 caught my eye. I went there today and was greeted by Andy, who is the owner. He was very pleasant, but my first impression of the salon was that it's very clean, well-organized, and has a huge selection of polish types and colors. All of the tools utilized were sanitized, and a new disposable insert was used at the pedicure station. As soon as I sat down I was given a cold bottle of spring water which was a really nice touch. Although I requested a standard pedicure, it was awesome. Andy took his time, was gentle and meticulous. He also did my manicure, which was just as wonderful. They also have a frequent flyer program where you actually earn dollars toward your next service. I would definitely recommend this salon and look forward to my next visit. read more

My friend and I got mani pedis here this week, and we were so impressed! The salon is very spacious and clean on the inside. They put plastic covers over the pedi bins (an absolute must, in my opinion), use new mani/pedi tools for each customer, and have a wide selection of colors (including dip powders and shellac). The owners are also a family, and they have a fair wages poster prominently placed on the wall behind the cashier counter (another must!!). They took their time and did a great job on our nails. I have been getting dip manicures here for about a year... I always schedule an appointment and go on days that are less busy (monday or Tuesdays). One appointment time I waited about 15 minutes- no big deal, I didn't complain. A few times after that I came in for my appointment on time, waited 30 minutes, again I didn't complain. They now had to rush through my appointment so no massage. I continued giving them my business until last week I came in -with an appointment and I waited 45 minutes, I finally said something and Andy- the owner didn't seem to care and my service was rushed. needless to say I won't be going back there. I really wanted this to be my new salon in town, but after the last dip fill I knew something was wrong. They did not remove the old powder..... ever... not once... from May 2021- July 2021. The last dip powder fill I got, they just barely shaved down the color, then added the new powder right on top. It looked clumpy and thick. So, I decided to try a new place. I went in today to a new salon to have them take off the old old powder that hadn't been cleaned up in months and they found green fungus on two nails. I am so mortified and concerned for everyone who gets their nails done here. Be aware, the powder may and/or tools they use may not be sanitized. read more

I usually like this place, but this time was a big disappointment. I walked in with very long nails and walked out with stumps that were not even the shape that I asked for. Very bad experience. Left the salon with three bloody cuticles and a service I didn't ask for. I made an appointment for an acrylic full set with gel polish. Upon arrival they sat me down and asked if I was getting powder and I said several times, "no I want acrylics, not dipping powder." The woman doing my nails, I think her name was Mia, gave me a bucket of color samples to pick from. I selected my samples and she brought me the colors.. of dipping powder.. again I said I want acrylics with GEL POLISH not dip powder. Started getting on edge at this point, not knowing what I am about to get but pretty sure it's not the service I was requesting. She starts doing the tips, and again I tell her I want acrylics. The language barrier was so strong between us that I truly don't think she understood what I was saying. So got the male worker to intervene and communicate with me, he was the only proficiently conversational English speaking employee it seemed. I told him I wanted acrylics NOT dip powder, he assured me it was "the same" it was just like acrylic but with colors. I was very confused and felt obliged to comply with this service. She ended up doing entirely dip nails, no acrylics, not the same at all. I was very tense the whole time knowing this is not what I wanted but I couldn't do anything about it. The appointment was about 75-80 mins, at least 60 was intense, painful filing. From the get go she was filing my SKIN on my left ring finger and throughout the manicure continued to abrasively handle my hands and roughly and painfully file and proceed to cut both L and R ring fingers and L thumb to point where it was viably bleeding and Mia put a drop of skin protectant liquid to stop the bleeding. I should have spoken up while she was hurting me but I didn't realize my cuticles were actually bleeding and I was hoping it would be over soon each time she filed those areas. When she finished I told her it wasn't really what I wanted and I'm bleeding. I asked for bandaids, which another very kind employee applied for me. Trying to comfort me, said they would be okay tomorrow. After all this, Mia still had the audacity to ask me to pay full price... for a service I didn't want, wounded and in pain! I asked to talk to the owner and the man from earlier came over and apologized and gave and a $10 discount. I said I guess that's okay, still very upset about the ordeal and honestly surprised me made me pay considering his salon painfully wounded me in three places. So overall, paid $37 (no tip obviously) for a dip manicure I did not want, and left with bandages on 3 fingers and bloody cuticles. Most painful salon experience ever. Also worth mentioning, the salon was very dirty. The file being used on me was visibly old and not cleaned. Another customer across the salon was pointing out the lack of cleanliness to her nail tech (ie the file was used on another customer and then her without being cleaned, other equipment was not cleaned. They offered water and back massages with your manicure and the music on the sound system played songs that you can actually sing along to! Amazing spot! Everyone who works here is very professional and kind. I got the lavender spa pedicure and it was relaxing and turned out beautifully!!
