Waren gestern mal wieder im Neo Steak essen. Wenn der Service und das Essen erstklassig ist bin ich auch bereit die hohen Preise zu zahlen (220€ für 2 Personen). Die Pornstar Martini ist mit 23€ teurer als im Stangelwirt (19€ beide mit Champagner) und war bestenfalls mittelmäßig gestern. Auf unsere Hauptspeise mussten wir über 1 Stunde warten. Ich hatte schon zur Bedingungen gesagt, dass sie die Rechnung bringen soll und wir verzichten auf den Hauptgang. Dies hatte sie ignoriert, und als das Steak endlich serviert wurde war es durch und nicht wie bestellt Medium. Obwohl das Steak mit Pommes 65€ gekostet hat wurde es nicht ausgetauscht als ich dies beim Service anmerkte. Die Leiterin des Service hatte uns noch einen Espresso oder Cocktail aufs Haus angeboten, aber da war die Stimmung schon gekippt. Wir musste auch gehen und die Babysitterin ablösen, sonst hätte ich wahrscheinlich ein Dessert aufs Haus genommen Für die hohen Preise ist es ein Glückspiel. Overall, we had a negative experience, especially for the price. This place is trying to do more than they can handle. So some dishes are good, but don't go for anything that is not popular -- it may have been sitting around for a while. Also, if you are a wine drinker, avoid the wine here. The most expensive red is OK. The others are not good. The service was quite bad. Everything took forever. It took about 20 min and asking 3 times to get water. The place does look nice -- trendy and industrial, but that isn't nearly enough. We will not go back nor recommend. There are many VERY good places in Heidelberg. read more

Great spot! Make reservations and definitely check this place out. The food could pass in a trendy San Francisco restaurant. Stylish ambiance. Service was excellent and attentive. Sushi was incredible, special, and high quality. If you're searching for a blow-your-mind special foods, you will not be disappointed here. The dishes had creative ingredients and consistencies. NEO was a last second decision in evacuating Frankfurt early to get to Heidelberg. I was lucky to get a good reservation because it was wonderful and . We arrived just before sundown and were seated on their wonderful outdoor patio. We started with the cocktails. We then went into Shashimi and then to the Steaks. All of it was absolutely wonderful. We even ended with some chocolate and coffee as we enjoyed the cool evening! I recommend this if you are craving steak. It's super easy to get to! read more

This time I went to Neo with a date and we went there for Steak. Overall great experience, Food was really good, Service extremely attentive and friendly, atmosphere on their Terrasse was also little romantic. Food gets 5 stars Service gets 5 stars Price vs. Quality gets 2 1/2 stars We had different Steaks and they tasted delicious, however it wasn't a huge difference in meat quality from other places charging half the price. The preparation was pretty good, but could have been better. Didn't feel like it brought out the potential of the meat. For the dish I had I would be willing to pay max. €30 again, not €54. We had: 1 bottle of water 2 Gin Tonic 1 Buffel Burrata (appetizer) 2 Steak (comes with sides etc.) Total prices was €148z I would be ok to pay for that no more than €100 for what you get. The one excellent service and atmosphere made a bit up for the high price vs value, but I won't be back for steak anytime soon. ...pretty cool spot located in what appears to be a newer hipster part of Heidelberg, Germany....open atmosphere, hip design with pretty good food to match! I was actually surprised to run across this place, and I'm glad I did! ...how about the fish for the main course and a Cesar salad for started... appetizers for the table, along with a glass of wine... how about the pookie bowl and a chicken dish for a main course for others at the table...all were satisfied - primarily related to the cool open design nature of the restaurant...the food was good too, meeting expectations. Takeout food was cold upon arrival because takeout packaging does not hold the heat in. Very expensive for the product. Restaurant experience priced into takeout. Probably nicer in the restaurant. read more

Our Waiter was awesome and the food was excellent. Everyone should that wants great service and excellent food shed visit twice.

This place was amazing, great for a group and they had special steak and sushi group specials. Highly recommend and it wasn't too expensive. Peter was an amazing waiter! read more

The tables were empty, but the waitress was to lazy to get additional guests in. The trinity restaurant which is in front of the Neo were closed, even they claimed to be open until 11pm on their menus. The weather "was not good enough" was the excuse there. read more

There is very little desire to go back to this place after the experience I had tonight. There was a lack of customer service and friendliness overall. My food took 1.5 hours to get to me and when it did there was a plate missing. The manager acknowledged the issue but did nothing against it. By the way, my dinner is all sushi and the manager pointed out that they make it fresh hahaha read more

Was here twice now and twice the service was really bad. This time the bread was out and I left thirsty, the visit before I waited 90 min for a plate of sushi. No English menu and rude waiters. There will not be a third time. Oh... Forgot... For a small city like Heidelberg it's definitely overpriced. read more
