They handled my mother's cremation and all of the administrative details with patience, professionalism, compassion, and genuine care. The Funeral Director, Christopher T. was simply exceptional. He understood that we did not have much experience, he hand held us through all of the details, showing patience and an understanding of our needs. He was incredibly caring throughout the entire process. He took the time to answer our questions, explain each step, and make sure everything was handled with dignity and respect. His personal attention made a very difficult experience much easier for our family. I recently & unfortunately used Neptune Society cremation for a sudden death in my family. The services are simply the best . It is " white glove" service all the way through from initial explanation of the process through the death of the loved one. There are no mistakes or glitches here. My parent was treated with reverence & respect. The process is seamless. There is follow- up. I highly recommend Neptune Society over any traditional funeral home. Neptune Society is a class act company in a line of work that is so tough to be in I would think. They were there for us when my father passed away a few years ago and now again with the passing of my mother in April 2023. Sarah had been wonderful, letting me call her whenever I needed to and in keeping us updated as the process was moving along. Around 4 years ago, I attended an informational/promotional luncheon with a Neptune Society representative (Michele Miritello). I had become interested in cremation as an option especially with regards to the option of cremains being added into a living coral reef. After the basic presentation on the elements and advantages of cremation vs traditional burial, the history of the Neptune Society, and the various costs, I determined that the Neptune Society, although not the cheapest, provided the complete services (body retrieval from wherever, prostration, opportunity for memorial, delivery of cremains, etc) at the best value. The fact that I travel frequently and that the Neptune Society is known world wide gave me extra peace of mind. But I didn't buy right away. I was only middle aged--why the rush? I requested additional information on the Memorial Reef and let it go at that. A few months later, I was diagnosed with metastatic breast cancer. A week later, I got a courtesy call from Michele. Talk about timing! She was very empathetic but also low key. I completed the sale, received all the promised informational, organizational and storage material in a very timely fashion and since I'm writing this now, you know I haven't needed the service yet . But I am very satisfied I made the right arrangements with this branch and this representative of the Neptune Society. Another incredible experience with Neptune Society. I can't express enough how much this organization has made the loss of my loved ones easier to cope with. When you know what the inevitable is going to be it doesn't make the end of life any better. Upon our loss all it took was a phone call for Neptune Society to step in and take care of all the responsibilities one would normally have to tend too. You can depend on being in great hands. Everyone I spoke with from Directors to the Receptionist was a pleasant experience. The care, the empathy, the compassion, the respect, the patience, the understanding, the listening, believe me I can go on! The services Neptune offers is full spectrum. They will provide as much or as simple as you want your memorial to be. These days everyone has to be mindful of financial situations. Neptune is aware of the times we're in, you can be assured of a beautiful send off for your loved one. It didn't even occur to me that you can keep ashes close to you every day. Before meeting with Sarah today I noticed beautiful pieces of locket necklaces and a bracelet you can keep ashes in. She was kind enough to take care of each piece without missing a beat. When I left I had my loved one with me all day. It certainly made my day a breeze! One other thing was Sarah remembered a phone conversation we had over a year ago! When Neptune Society says they will take care of you, believe them. In this difficult time of loss, they are caring, informative, and respectful during the entire process. When the family or spouse is dealing with the loss, and arranging for the next steps seems too great of a task to think about, Neptune takes care of it all for you. My parents purchased a pre-need plan years before they would need it, and when the time came to use it, we weren't sure what to expect from them. Boy were we happy they had the forethought to plan this ahead of time. Our whole experience was positive with exceptional service. My experience was completely different from the prior reviewer! When I saw my dad was failing, I went to their storefront. I was met by a friendly and understanding person who told me my options very clearly, explaining pros and cons. I had been very leery of funeral services for many years and felt this was a breath of fresh air. That was about two years ago. The recent lost of our mother was sudden. Although she had a trust in place with instructions, she had not been prearranged for funeral services. My family and I turned to the Neptune Society for her care. The Funeral Director Chris T. was totally professional from start to completion. Our mother passed on the weekend after hours of Neptune Society. Chris called us back from his personal cell phone within hours to instruct us on everything we need to do and know. The service we received was so clear and filled with respect. I decide to make my own prearrangement with the Neptune Society. The lost of a love one is never easy. It's difficult to write a review after the loss of a loved one, in this case my elderly Mother, but here goes. We bought a pre-need plan a couple of years ago for her. Unfortunately we just needed it. We are so glad we were prepared for this. After she died at home in hospice care, Neptune Society was called and two gentlemen in two black vans arrived. There were very understanding, compassionate and just what we needed. Mom was removed from the house wth dignity after we said our private goodbyes. Patrick kept us apprised of where Mom would be while awaiting cremation. Then Sarah at the office took over. She was very professional and guided us through the process of the death certificates, the coroner permit, the time of the cremation and when Mom was ready for pickup. She answered all of our questions in a very timely manner and we were very comfortable and confident in Neptune's services. The only added minor expense was the coroner fee and the expense of extra copies of the death certificates. Her help and guidance was greatly needed and appreciated. After this experience, my wife and I are ready to set up pre-need arrangements for ourselves. We are grateful to Neptune Society and would not hesitate to recommend their services. read more
