Sarah had been wonderful, letting me call her whenever I needed to and in keeping us updated as the process was moving along.

From the moment we contacted them, they guided us with patience and care, handling every detail with thoughtfulness and respect. Anthony was attentive and supportive, always available to answer questions. The service was beautifully arranged and honored our father in a meaningful way. Every step of the process was handled with dignity, and it gave us peace of mind knowing we were in good hands. The last thing you want during a loved one's funeral service is to worry about the details, and we had none of that. Thank you to the entire team at Cappetta's West Suburban Funeral Home -- your compassion made all the difference.

Every question was answered in full detail. They have a variety of urns, flowers, and prayer cards you can choose from and helps you to choose the appropriate products that align with your religious views. The value in price actually beat out every funeral home we looked at. I didn't work for 4 years caring for my mother so cost was a big factor and Capetta's prices are unbeatable. Nobody looks forward to hard times, but if your looking for a funeral home to help you through. Capetta's is the best! Thank you Anthony.

During the wake, the main sitting room was very peaceful and serene. The decor was nice, neutral, and not over the top. There were rooms available to sit in to eat snacks. The room contained plenty of tables and chairs. They even have a kitchen in the basement that they allowed us to use for lunch after the burial service. There were about 100 people so they even opened up other rooms for others to sit and eat in that weren't meant for lounging. The whole place didn't seem eerie or creepy as other funeral homes that I've been to. The cemetery grounds was well kept and clean. We walked from the funeral home to the place where our loved one was going to get buried and it was a nice and peaceful walk. I guess I can end this review advising that this is a nice place to get buried in? *insert wide eyed emoji here*

About two weeks before the scheduled date, the cemetery called to tell me I could no longer have the date I reserved because they needed to close the cemetery for a "high-profile" burial. I later learned through the news that it was for a retired Chicago Bears player. What's frustrating is that they claimed it was for privacy, yet media coverage was allowed inside the cemetery. Because of the last-minute change, I lost a deposit at a restaurant we had booked, since they were unable to accommodate us on another date. I then had to scramble to make new arrangements during an already difficult time. A Very disappointing experience. I understand that unexpected situations can happen, but giving such short notice after months of planning--especially for something this important--caused unnecessary stress and financial loss. My grave markers are another disappointing experience still waiting. so a 2nd review is pending

They have multiple rooms, different sizes, some with seating and some without. We got a large room with seating. They have a monitor, if you want to set up a slideshow. They also have a public kitchen and private kitchen, so if you are there for an extended time, you might want to leave food in the kitchen. They have a refrigerator where you can store items. They also provide free coffee. The facility is very nice, and the staff are great. When we got food delivered, Jamie offered to bring it to the kitchen for us so that we wouldn't have to be bothered. At the end of the wake, they let us stay to say our goodbyes as long as we needed to.

Many questions arise when we're responsible for making final arrangements, and I'm glad we had Williams-Kampp to guide us along the way. Our father grew up in Wheaton, and the location wasn't too far from the cemetery in West Chicago where he was to be buried next to our mother, so this seemed like the perfect place to have his visitation and funeral service. The fact that our father was visiting my sister in Texas at the time of his death did not make things easier. But Dan Williams was there for us, and he informed us of what to expect. My father passed away in the hospital at 1:36 a.m.--a time when I felt lost and didn't know what to do. Dan was there to answer the phone at two in the morning, and he assured me that he would take care of everything. I can't begin to describe the feeling of relief I felt by those words. I told my siblings, "Everything was going to be okay; they've got us." There were extra steps on the part of the state of Texas in getting my father's remains back home, but Dan took care of everything for us, reassuring us of the progress along the way. The "Dad is back home" text when his plane landed and they had him was comforting. One may often read in Yelp reviews the phrase "I cannot say enough...," and it certainly applies here. Dan was there when we arrived back in Illinois to make our father's final arrangements and services. You hear ghost stories of funeral homes preying on the grief of family members to sell them the most expensive items in their inventory. I went in ready to pounce. But it never happened. There was no showing of the $10k casket. We told Dan about the image we had for our father, and what he showed us was perfect. We were told about a vault being required by state law, "but there's no reason to get the expensive one." These are not the sales people my siblings and I were expecting. They were everything I could have hoped for and more. While I'm in no hurry to use their services again--certainly, none of us are--if anyone finds themselves in need of help making final arrangements for a loved one, this is the place to go. If you're reading this review during a time where you feel lost, turn to Williams-Kampp. You'll be in good hands. I'm sorry for your loss, and may peace find you swiftly.
