There are seasonal flavors during the year. You can also sample what they have available on that day. They offer discounts after a specific amount of sleeves are purchased. If you like high end coffee. Buy yourself a Neapresso machine. I have two machines and I couldn't be happier. Each machine fits a different size pod. They have flavors from all over the world. And they also offer seasonal flavors as well. But the seasonal flavors sell out quick. The staff at this location was extremely friendly and helpful. She was able to explain every thing to us when we asked questions. I bought several sleeves. And will be back of course for several more. read more

I've visited this location for my Nespresso needs several times over the years. TLDR: Just order your stuff online. The vibes in this very small boutique are off, for lack of a better word. Most of the associates are curt and act inconvenienced to help you. They don't have a clear "line" and when times are busy customers don't know where to line up for service. I was scolded once for standing in their "tasting bar" while I thought I was simply waiting in line. Other customers actually agreed with me and we all raised eyebrows at each other. I wrote Nespresso corporate about that one and did receive a $20 voucher which was appreciated, but my feedback of simply having better signage or a system for customer flow was obviously not taken seriously. I don't see the appeal of buying capsules in the boutique aside from the rare occasion of the store having limited editions in stock when online store might be sold out. The curved, half-sphere Nespresso pods they sell here are truly the only ones that work with my Nespresso machine. I was in the neighborhood (by that I mean Bloomingdale's) and decided to see what they had. There are a few large pieces of paper showing which flavor is which, helpful since you really just see rows of boxes and their various colors otherwise. I went up to one of the registers to quickly read over one of those "menus," since I did not see any thus far. (There were some around the small store, so I hadn't looked hard enough - that's on me!) Within 5 seconds of me standing near the register, the employee basically smirked at me while scolding me to read the menu (of sorts) elsewhere in the store, because she was with a customer. She was tremendously condescending and snippy. It was not needed. I was not trying to crowd her space or demand her attention while she was engaged with someone else! It was a negative experience, and although each of these stores is a chain, I figured this outpost didn't need my business, so I'll go to the Skokie location or buy them online. One star added to the minimum because the pods work well and the store seemed to have a lot of options in stock. read more

I used to like coming to this store because the workers were nice and would always give me free samples with my purchase. However the last few times I've been in here the vibes have been absolutely rancid. The workers always treat me like I'm a poor person (after i spent $80 on coffee) and they can't be bothered. The vibes are very elitist and weird. I usually am not all done up whenever i go but still.... Because it's in Bloomingdale's they act like they're selling Chanel purses and I'm a peasant off the street who can never afford a bag. I'm just going to start ordering online from now on.... We stumbled on this place while exploring Bloomingdale's while visiting Chicago from Nashville. I stocked up!! So much more interesting to choose coffee with the help of expert and accommodating staff on location there. I was even given a sample (a full cup! With cream!!!) Validated parking was also a huge help ($12.00) We received a free travel mug for getting 16 boxes, my husband loves it!! The ambiance is great, impressive pod wall that made it all so much more accessible. Very clean and smelled great too! read more

Finally a boutique in downtown Chicago to purchase pods and accessories! Conveniently located in Bloomingdale's, this boutique has everything you need for your Nespresso consumptions. The only thing that was a little disappointing was the samples were premade and watery. Couldn't drink it but at least it was something. read more

While this boutique was more approachable (on a customer service level) when they had their small set up at sur La Table. Their new boutique on the first floor in Bloomingdales is certainly more accessible and easy to pop in to. I find the staff aren't nearly as friendly or provide the level of amazing customer service and important feedback on new coffee as previous. As a nespresso lover, I enjoy being able to speak to these experts, to learn more about the product prior to purchasing them! You can always buy these pods online, and I feel these experts at the boutique really have a unique experience and opportunity to drive additional sales that appear to fall short. Maybe I'm over thinking it, but ‍ I obviously will continue to visit this boutique and purchase their coffee. I would just ask Management of the store to encourage their employer is to smile. I walked into the Nespresso Boutique inside Bloomingdales with excitement. The lovely boutique closed in the Medinah building, leaving a quest for Nespresso coffee refills. I had gone up to the Nespresso Boutique at the Old Orchard Center in Skokie. There I received exceptional service, just as I had at the Medinah location, leading me to expect service that would be comparable at the very least. Wow! It was shockingly the opposite!! I walked into the very small store and was called back by a young lady. She called out, "Can I help you?" I had not asked for assistance since I was just picking up some coffee, but I thought it was nice that she offered so I went back to ask a couple of questions. Strangely, as I asked my questions, she did not answer me or even look up from her computer. I waited a moment but still no answers or eye contact. I told her it looked like she was busy and I would come back. She snipped "I'm working on something very important!" Hmmm, then why did she call me over... Another staff member was there as well and said nothing. As I walked away I heard the woman who had been speaking to me say to her colleague, "She's so rude!" Wait. What? Me? I walked back and asked why she thought I was rude, since she called me over then ignored me to the point where it was comical. She replied in a very harsh tone, "I have no idea what you are talking about!" I asked this representative of the Nespresso brand, her name. She said it was Ashley with a smirk. I looked around the tiny store, took a couple of photos for Yelp as I went over what had just transpired. I was certainly out of the mood to spend my money here. I watched the two staff members working on filling curbside pick up orders. I guess that was much more important than the customer in the store that she called over and left standing there ignored. Before I left, I asked the other woman about Ashley calling me rude. She became very dramatic and said with a flourish, "It's almost quitting time for me. I didn't hear a thing! I just want to leave this job and go home!" It sounded like she was a factory line worker, who clocks in & out for her dreaded shift. Certainly not a happy staff member that enjoys representing the product she is selling. Shame on you Nespresso! Great job hiring the right people and training them so well! (SARCASM) This shameful display of horrendous customer service or lack there of, is absolutely unacceptable for a company, let alone one that is offering high end products. Not only is this disappointing but also so offensive that I will not be shopping here again. Although I live just blocks from Bloomingdales, I will not be spending my money at this coffee boutique location. Both Bloomingdales and Nespresso should certainly correct the service staff issues that are most certainly detrimental to the reputation and integrity of both stores! I rarely give ONE STAR reviews and it pains me to do so, however Ashley and her minion colleague handed it out to me proudly. Future customers beware!!! read more

Needed to buy some new capsules for my Nespresso essenza mini machine, and so it was super convenient that a dedicated Nespresso boutique is situated right in the 900 North Michigan Ave shops building! (Note: it used to be inside the third floor Sur La Table shop, but is now moved to the first floor inside the Bloomingdale's). Fantastic service, as the staff had great recommendations as to which capsules catered to which types of personal tastes (e.g. I prefer a dark espresso, so I got the exclusive edition Galapagos and the Napoli capsules). The lines during peak weekend hours are rough, but the folks there are friendly and helpful.

We were out of coffee, and life was miserable. We were left with an impossible choice... either wait a few days to receive an order from Nespresso, or... *gulp* ... drink some other brand of coffee. Oh why did God have to shut down the big Bloomingdales and its critical supply of Nespresso pods? Then, from the ashes, arose our savior. Like magic, the oracles at Nespresso launched a new boutique right as we were running out of coffee. Life saved! We will live to see another day! Of course, it has the standard fare you'd expect at a basic Nespresso boutique inside a Bloomingdale's, but it's smaller than the freestanding ones, so don't expect to sit down and have a coffee here (after the pandemic, of course). Also, either walk here (as we do) or budget more money for parking than for coffee. read more
