Late delivery + communication issues, but the delivery crew was great…read more I used Rental Avenue for furniture rentals for an event and spent around $7,000. Unfortunately, the experience was incredibly stressful due to logistics and communication. The delivery showed up about 6 hours late, which completely threw off our setup timeline. Because they were so behind, I ended up having to stay at the property until 10:00 PM just to get everything placed and ready. To make matters worse, communication with the office was really difficult -- at one point, we had to have the delivery guys call the office repeatedly just to get someone on the phone and get direction/answers. That should never be on the customer (or the crew) to chase down. I'll say this: the delivery guys were honestly great. They were professional, kind, and clearly doing their best under the circumstances. We also ran into an issue with the table/chair heights. I ordered tall chairs, but I had selected shorter cocktail tables. They did help fix the issue, which I appreciate -- but the way it was handled made me feel like I was being scolded for it. When you're spending thousands and already dealing with a massively late delivery, the last thing you need is attitude. A simple "no worries, we'll get it sorted" would have gone a long way. Overall: great delivery crew, but the late delivery, hard-to-reach office, and the tone when resolving the setup issue made this a frustrating experience. I really wanted this to be a smooth, professional rental process, but it wasn't. I would not recommend.

Our house was very small with a separate backhouse and huge backyard, which lent to a mish-mash of needs. The team came out, measured everything, and was incredibly thoughtful about their choices. I even asked them about a few choices and their answers were so deliberate -- the nightstands were the right dimension to look proportional to the preexisting higher height of the bed, etc. Overall proof is always in the pudding -- our house got 30 offers, sold for ~20% over asking, and broke a record for the area (and this was before this crazy market and before Altadena was nuts). They weren't home they kept pounding though. I asked if there were doing door to door or something because they are disturbing the whole complex. They said no nicely so I let it be and left. But these a**h***s littered their bullshit ass flyers all over the hole complex.... legit hung the door hanger flyers on the trees on the flowers and just all over the ground. I get it the people probably owe you for renting whatever. That doesn't give you the right to be just down right scumbags and litter your shit everywhere.
