We bought a teak table from Tim and liked it but we got mold growing on the top. Tim told me to clean it with 50/50 vinegar/water solution. Sealed it and mold showed up more fierce. Let me start by saying that I really do like the products here and I really wanted this to be a great experience since they are local, a family run business and they had good prices but unfortunately it wasn't. Let me start from the beginning. My wife found this company on Yelp when we were looking for Teak outdoor furniture and we both really liked the styles they had. We went down to the business during their normal business hours posted on Yelp, and they were closed. My wife messaged the owner and he said he would be there in 10-20 minutes so we waited in the car and keep in mind this is a really ugly part of the valley, very sketchy ( believe me, I've lived in the valley my whole life) When the owner came he was very nice and welcoming, we showed him what we wanted and he explained he was really backed up on orders and I understood considering all shipments were being delayed due to COVID. He then gave me a hard date of June 27 and he stated " worse case scenario, like if the shipment were to fall off the boat it would deliver June 27". We proceeded with the transaction and my wife picked out the color of the Sunbrella cushions and I paid the man IN FULL. The day before our scheduled delivery date I emailed asking what time they were going to come by so I could make sure I would be home and they responded that they had another appointment and they would not be delivering and they would reach out to me to reschedule. I explained that they had given me a hard delivery date and not an estimated date and instead of trying to work something out, they just refunded me the money, leaving me to go out shopping again and trying to find another set. There were never any rude words, but the fact that I had to contact them, after they were paid in full and to find out the day before I am expecting my furniture to be delivered, I found they lacked basic customer service. My wife was able to find another local company that is family owned that had Teak furniture that we liked, not same exact set, but even better pricing and they delivered the next day and I didn't have to pay a penny until it was delivered. I received the cushions another 2 days after this. I can tell you that I would not recommend this business and they lost a customer in me and I am in process of building a redwood deck and plan on furnishing it with more Teak furniture such as a bed, chase lounges and tables. I did give 2 stars as they do have nice furniture and the male owner was nice, but since I had to contact them, he did not keep his word, and they took my money first, I could not give more stars. read more

Every piece of furniture we bought from Willow Creek turned out to be of excellent quality. We couldn't be happier with the purchase we made 2 years ago. This year, when we took out the covers to wash, the liners of the pillows were messed up. Even though it's been a while, the owner helped us with new liners right away! The quality is excellent and very well priced. Assembly is not as easy as suggested. You need a number of tools that not everyone may have on hand, like a rubber mallet and a saw. Also, the wooden dowels that secure the arms and legs are very difficult to insert and we finally resorted to having to sand them down to make them fit. There are no written assembly instructions, only a YouTube video that has no sound. So if you aren't that proficient at assembling furniture, you should be warned. Still, it is a good product. I should note, that Erin offered to compensate us to have someone put the furniture together for us. But due to Covid and overwhelming demand, it is impossible to hire anyone for a small job like this. So be prepared to do it yourself. read more

I had a great experience with Willow Creek. I inadvertently messed up my order (it was hard to tell online what color cushions I should get) and they worked with me patiently and generously to make it right, and now I am very happy with my new patio set. I felt that they went above the call of duty, and will recommend them to anyone who asks; that's why I'm writing this review. The teak itself is smoothly sanded, the cushions comfortable, and they happened to have the covers in the color that I needed in stock, and I got them quickly. For those who enjoy reading long reviews with all the detail, here's the story: I needed to replace my old, torn, non-Sunbrella patio cushions on an older teak set that I had, but quickly realized I'd be better off buying a new set. Since my old teak was fine (but the cushions a disaster) I didn't want to spend a fortune, and fortunately found WCT; it ended up being more cost-effective to just buy a whole new set than try to get new Sunbrella cushions made to order for a non-standard set, and then I could get an outdoor sofa as well, which I didn't have. I felt that they were honest about the Sunbrella and other shortages during Covid, so I wasn't expecting a quick delivery. However, when I did receive the set, the color I ordered looked entirely different to me in-person than online, and looked jarring when placed against my house. I really didn't like the color I received for my particular setting, and felt sad. I decided to reach out and see if I could pay to send just the covers back and get something that would more closely match how I perceived the online color. I got swatches to verify, so I wouldn't be guessing via computer monitor. I was so happy that by coincidence they had the exact color that I actually wanted in-stock, and WCT sent just the covers to me in one simple box, and I sent back the first covers. They even waited patiently longer than they needed to for me to return the covers, which I had kept wrapped in the plastic - I felt guilty that I didn't send back the covers immediately, but I was knee deep in refinishing our kitchen cabinets, and was too tired to get the very snug covers off the cushions until I had recovered from the cabinet refinishing (a much more complex project than most people realize!!). So yes, I do recommend WCT, and am enjoying having an outdoor sofa and new chairs in a real outdoor living room now. read more

Beware!!! Just beware. The level of unprofessionalism and inability to resolve customer service issues is truly staggering. I shopped online for 3 dining tables for outdoor tasting at my winery. Before ordering I called and had a lengthy conversation with Erin. I was assured the items were in stock (a concern I had as I wanted to revamp my outdoor tasting area relatively quickly). With his assurance my order could be delivered in less than 3 weeks I placed my order.. total $7300.00. Paid in full via credit card. The dates passed with no communication, so I send a message and in response I'm told about an overdue ship importing my items that was delayed... WHAT??? I thought my items were in stock and you've had my 7300.00 for weeks now ... . I'm told it will be another 10-15 days, once again I reach out as I'm not given any status updates, and this time I'm told there is a customs delay... my product could ship in another 10 days. I ask why I hadn't been told and I'm sent email containing evidence of a refund. Now, they did my a great favor for I found nicer product that can ship in 5 days, but I was shocked by the lack of customer service skills and lack of sufficient follow up and then a total bail out (refund) when they don't know how to do any conflict resolution. Clearly, this company will be unable to operate long term with such limited skills. While shocked at the business practice I'm relieved to be out from under this mess of a transaction that I believe was never going to be delivered. Poor poor, experience with this business that was a complete waste of time, that I hope no one else has to suffer through. read more

When I started shopping for a teak patio set, I wanted to find a local place where I could see it in person and get a feel for the cushions. I've read too many reviews where people complained about how hard or uncomfortable the cushions felt upon receiving their online purchase. I'm so glad I stumbled across Willow Creek in a Google search and my timing could not have been better!! They had a brand new design not yet posted on their website that matched Restoration Hardware's design but at the fraction of the cost!! Judge for yourself by the photos. :-) I was also able to select my choice in fabrics for the cushions and pillows so it was completely customized! In addition, the sectional pieces are modular so I can separate each piece and reconfigure it like a puzzle and lock it in with these wooden interlocking pieces. Nikol and Erin were wonderful to work with and refreshingly so customer-focused!! Nikol helped me with selecting the fabrics, deciding the thickness of the cushions, and kept in touch to when the set would be ready. Erin sold me on his new design and offered me a tremendous deal for the being the first customer of the new line! When it was ready, Erin delivered it and carefully set it up, putting on foot coasters and tying down the cushions. They both take a lot of pride in what they do and it really shows in their workmanship!! When Erin realized he made a mistake on one of the cushion fillings, he promptly returned with the right cushion the next morning at 7am on a Sunday! I know because the set I wanted was from Restoration Hardware, and after searching for months for a less expensive alternative I was ready to place the order. Fortunately, I discovered Willow Creek just in time! Their designs are unique and definitely compete on the same level as RH, but the pricing is actually reasonable and they include sunbrella fabric without an upcharge. From the first time I called for some information and owner Erin picked up the phone, I knew I'd found the right company. The customer service has been truly remarkable, and we couldn't be happier with the furniture - both quality and aesthetic. Everyone who sees it can't get over how nice it is. Erin has given us great tips and advice on the furniture as well as things they don't even sell, like umbrellas. He and Nikol both have made an effort to be accessible and accommodating in a way that's rare nowadays. My husband and I came upon this shop while we were searching for patio furniture in LA. We live near the mountains and experience heavy winds throughout the year so this limited us to heavy furniture options. Teak was our best bet, but the price point for teak is really limiting. We have six outdoor areas that we wanted to furnish. We found this shop online and were impressed by the reviews so we gave it a shot. Do not be fooled by the warehouse set up of this store. The quality of this furniture is beyond excellent. They carry grade A teak, this quality of wood usually carries a hefty price tag. Most shops will only advertise they're selling teak furniture, but rarely guarantee grade A teak. You get better quality there than you would at Restoration Hardware, at a fraction of the price AND almost anything can be customized. We had to custom order everything because of our unusual sized spaces, so our process took several weeks. They have many items in stock that you could easily get sooner. It's a family owned shop. The husband and wife team, Erin and Nikol, are absolutely wonderful. They're both perfectionists and will not deliver a product until they are 100% satisfied with the quality and craftsmanship. We had ordered two poolside loungers and Erin insisted on taking one back because he wasn't happy with the way it didn't collapse perfectly flat. This is something I probably would not have noticed had he not brought it to my attention. Six months after taking delivery of our furniture we had a terrible experience with rodents getting under our furniture covers and staining all the beautiful white couches... Luckily, because we had followed Erin's instructions on scotch guarding everything, all the stains came out easily with a professional steam clean. When I called the shop to ask what could be done in case the damage was permanent, Erin indicated that had the stains not come out, all of my cushions were under warranty and would have been replaced at no cost!
