Went on a saturday and it was a lot of fun, music was good but was extremely loud. Bar service was fast but its cash only unless you are paying $30+. Also, be aware of your purse at all times. My purse has a strong magnetic lock and was pickpocketed, my phone and house keys went missing while friends wallet was taken. Someone had spent $250 on her card. Came hear on a Saturday after seeing a flyer on Instagram with ladies being free all night. There was a $50 minimum when using credit or debit, which ended up being around 6 drinks. The DJ that night, DJ Griff, was horrible. He had no modern song selection and keep playing records from the 2010's. It totally killed the buzz and made me want to leave. The crowded seemed very young and immature, and that's coming from someone in their early 20's. The bottle service girls looked miserable and unenthusiastic. They are heavy on security and have several guards at the entrances and patrolling the club. Came here for barcode Saturdays- our waitress was great but table service wasn't the best. There are no ropes so people were entering our section and even knocked a table over. The prices are great and the DJ is pretty good too. read more

Went for the tail end of a Tenaglia 10hr set Review update necessary because they have made some significant changes. I think the earlier room was just a temporary room while they completed the proper room. It is now much bigger, and the sound system is much better. There was a huge turnout when I visited... I actually arrived at 7am and it was still pretty full. The crowd was much better too. Only complaint really is that the restroom was gross. I don't think they clean it at all. Someone had thrown up into 1 of the 2 sinks, and that was there the entire time. They get some awesome DJs. Danny Tenaglia followed by Danny Howells on consecutive nights. read more

Had a great time on Saturday with the featured DJs Chus + Ceballos. The music was amazing and the crowd was hyped. The staff were helpful but obviously overwhelmed with the crowd that night. My friend saw Sascha Braemer take a puff of a joint while on stage which is in violation of Section 2 of Canada's Controlled Drug and Substances Act . . unless it was for medicinal use, in which case he is completely fine and I don't care; even supportive. Speaking of mind-altering substances, they stop selling alcohol at 2am so there was a mad rush (by me) to buy multiple Bud Lights before the clock ran out. Can you believe they only take cash?! Luckily I didn't need that much to drink because I was so high on life! Drew and I literally led the dance hall in a beat clap that was entirely inappropriate for this genre ( i was later told ). Anyway, I had a blast here and it was a great way to end an action packed weekend in T-town. I cant wait to come back. read more

This place is so amazing! Up and coming hot spot with the coolest interior! Lighting and sound system is on POINT! Weekly international Dj's and awesome drink prices too. I got a bottle of beer for 5$. Bartenders were friendly and the vibes were just right. Definitely coming back. read more

There was no line to get in when we arrived the price to get in was not bad I did have a bit of an issue when we arrived which the manager which was a guy ( didn't get his name) was very great and expeditiously handled it so that we could continue to enjoy our night out in Toronto. TL;DR If you're having a good week, come here to ruin it. Never open a bar tab here. I was overcharged several drinks on my bill and when I asked for a receipt they were "unable" to print one for me. I was then told I could wait until the bar closed to get one printed. Bartender Nikki was rude, unprofessional, and lacked common courtesy. When I asked for her to take the drinks I DID NOT ORDER off my bill, she refused. She then manually typed up a bill into an old school cash register as if that was proof of what I ordered. They would not accept my credit card for a bottle of water bc I didn't order enough "drinks" and was ignored. She came back and pretended she had forgotten, then said "next time, go to a less busy bar." I then told her, my friend is dehydrated. She then picked up two glasses and placed it in front of me and told me to go to the washroom and get some." Then proceeded to tell me that I was rude bc I was requesting within my rights for hydration. Excuse you, you're a bartender. You serve drinks. Alcoholic and non-alcoholic. Hands down the worst bartending service I've had in my life anywhere. Absolutely appallingly disgusted of the behaviour, mistreatment, attitude and unprofessionalism I had experienced tonight at NEST for Yes Yes Ya'll event. What happened if my friend had passed out or worse? They can serve alcohol but refuse to serve water when busy regardless of how dehydrated a person is. That is a liability issue. I stopped in for a bit on a Saturday night. I think it was a few of he local DJs that night, not some huge international superstar. The crowd was light, but I was there from about midnight to 02:30. I get the impression this is an after hours kind of place judging from the music (which was FANTASTIC). The decor is simple. Not a lot of flashy fixtures and no fancy VIP booths. No, I think they put all the money into the sound system here. It felt like they had enough speakers for a space twice the size. I definitely recommend bringing some earplugs. You will thank me when your ears aren't going "EEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE" when you eventually try to go to sleep after your night out. The staff was friendly enough. Drinks seemed about average price/potency. If you like the feel of an underground dance club and are into deep house, this is the place. read more

Great bookings, great sound system. The only complaint is that I wish they didnt hold the line as long as they do sometimes, to maximize on line bypass. Big events can be very disorganized and poorly managed, and I've waited over an hour in the freezing cold before trying to get in. Crowd can be hit or miss, but there's definitely fire beats in here. I came here with a few friends after hanging out at The Den, the restaurant/club below The Nest. I frequent The Den a lot, but this was my first time at The Nest. I'm not a huge club goer, but my friends and I had a really great time here. The music was great, the staff was friendly and the club had a nice atmosphere. I usually head home early from these type of things, but Koodos to The Nest for keeping me out dancing! Cover is comparable to any other downtown club. Apparently they get some really great DJ's coming through here, so I would definitely check it out if you're able to. Oh, and if you're ever in the mood for the best burger you've ever had, head downstairs to The Den. They even have a late night food window some weekends. read more

Awesome venue. Me and my boyfriend went for dinner and drinks on a Sat evening and were really impressed with the food and cocktail list. We loved the beef tartar and chicken sticks. The staff were very attentive and the manager even came by the table to see how we were doing. The only thing I think needs improvement is the decor in the washroom- it could use a face lift. Other than that, thumbs up! Will definitely go back. read more
