Really honest bunch of folks, super thorough in inspecting the vehicle and walked us through each part they thought had problems and why, and were very patient with my mom who couldn't understand English very well. Whether it was for a service or consultation/estimate, Mark has been patient to hear me out through my million questions and explain each process. He's never tried to pressure me to do a service I didn't need and their pricing is quite reasonable. He even threw in a brake inspection and O2 sensor test at no extra charge since I was already in for the valve adjustment! I'm a long time customer, so it pains me to give this review. I went in for an oil change and to…read morecheck the fan blower motor because my fan stopped working the day prior. I was quoted $1,450 to replace the blower motor and resistor. The explanation given to me was that it would have to be aftermarket parts and it was labor intensive, thus the $1400+ cost. I declined the service because it seemed to high a price and, this is where I'm disappointed by the owner, while he explained the cost, he said it with a smirk. This didn't settle well with me. He charged me $265 for the synthetic oil change and for the inspection. I assume that he changed me 2hours for the inspection. After I left I searched what the average constant for replacing a blower motor and resistor. The average cost is $200 parts and labor minus tax. I ended up buying the parts and replacing the blower and resistor on my own for under $100 and it took me about 2 hours (because I am not a mechanic). I'm certain that a professional would have taken less than an hour to fix. I am looking for an honest explanation from the company as to why I was quoted that amount and why the inspection was so expensive. I really want to give them a second chance but I might be looking for another mechanic. I take 2 cars to get regular maintenance and the occasional big ticket item.
