The worker admitted to do that un purpose because they want you to come back at 3k miles so they can check your car "in case you have a leak" .... mind you, they wont tell you you still have mileage to go, and you are good, NOPE, they will automatically just do an oil change. My husband had to ask them to actually write the return mileage on the sticker at 5k NOT at 3k .... BE AWARE, specially if you are a female (dont be fool by the fact that they have a female worker) THEY WILL SCAM YOU. They took the time to explain the repair, confirmed the diagnostic code, and even pointed out a few things I should do to help my Prius last longer. They noticed my hybrid battery cooling fan was missing after I told them I just had it "replaced" at another shop. That's the kind of information you don't usually get from a repair shop. They ended up not needing to drop the subframe, so they adjusted the labor instead of charging me for work they didn't have to do. It still took the amount of time they said it was going to take, but still discounted me a little bit which I thought was cool. I also had them do an oil change while it was there, and even that was less expensive than what I normally pay at places like Jiffy Lube or Valvoline. If you own a Prius or any hybrid, I'd definitely recommend checking them out. More than anything, I left feeling like they genuinely know these cars and took the time to educate me, not just fix it. I'll definitely be bringing my Prius back if I ever need anything else.
