I am so in love with this company. The animals were great. They dressed the pony like a unicorn. They girls were wonderful. My daughter had the best time, she turned 2 yrs old. This review is based both on the poor customer service we received following the event as well as the condition and quantity of the animals that were sent to our party. We hired Netties to provide a petting zoo experience for our son's 1st birthday party. We were promised 16-18 animals. We paid for an additional hour so that the kids could enjoy the animals for 3 full hours and paid $695 in full and in advance. When the animals arrived, the first thing we noticed was how dirty they were. The pig was covered in dirt and had clumps of I don't even know what hanging from its belly. It was so bad that some of the parents wouldn't even let their kids enter the pin. We were among those parents...I didn't want my 1 year old touching animals that looked and smelled as though they hadn't been bathed in weeks. Others were more adventurous and some of the kids had fun playing with the animals in spite of their condition. The more upsetting thing to me, though, was that the company only brought 12 animals - not the 16-18 we were promised and that we paid for. The young lady who delivered them told us that they had another event on the same day as ours and that she was leaving our party to go deliver to the other party. I didn't realize at that point that we were being shorted at least 4 animals. Only after she left did I count the animals in the pen and pointed out to the handler who stayed for the duration of our party that we were missing animals. She told me that there was a problem with chickens at the moment and that the couldn't bring them for safety reasons. I reached out to Candace following the event to voice my concerns and was told that the company has the right to withhold animals a their discretion. When I pointed out that we were promised 16-18 animals and that they could have substituted different animals for the chickens, she once again told me that they have the right to hold back animals at their discretion. I requested a partial refund based on a pro-rated amount (about $45 per animal that did not show up x 4 animals, which would have put us at the minimum number that was promised) and after much back and forth, Candace replied that she would be sending me a $50 check. That was all they were willing to offer. Nearly a month later, no further communication and no check. This company does not value the experience of it's customers, nor do they care to fulfill the promises they make when luring customers to support their business. My recommendation: Take your money elsewhere and support a business that cares about it's customers and maybe that bathes it's animals before bringing them to your event. read more

Netties Party Pals did such a fabulous job for my son's first birthday party! All of our guests, adults and kids alike, loved all of the animals. It was definitely the hit of the party. They brought several goats, sheep and bunnies, a pig, mini horse and a pony for pony rides. All of the kids got to ride around the park on the pony, it was so cute. The set up was great, they brought a nice gated enclosure and pop up tent for the animals. Everyone who worked at Netties was so nice and helpful. Price for the pony and petting zoo was very reasonable for the two hours they are there. Had some complaints from party guests that the lady attending to the horses was very rude but I didn't really get to experience or see for myself. We hired Netties Party Pals for my daughter's Birthday party. Nettie was easy to schedule, communicated well, called me back right away and also a few days before to chat about the details. The weather was questionable so we did not know if we could have pony rides. Nettie offered to bring both the pony and the Mini pony to the party just in case the weather did not hold up. We had about 30 kids over and it was perfect. The weather held up and we ended up using both the pony and mini. Cody and Brittany were the workers that brought the animals and they were friendly and patience with the kids. The animals were all cute, clean and very well taken care of. Wow... This was the greatest idea I've ever had. My wife and I ordered the petting zoo and pony ride combo for my sons 3rd birthday party and it was worth every penny. It's funny how you mention petting zoo in a party invitation and every single person RSVPd they were coming. The two workers were awesome; showed up on time and were knowledgeable about the animals which included: bunnies, goats, chickens, pigs, a few birds and the two alpacas, which were extra, but worth it. We had 15 kids from 12 months - 7 years old and they were all into it, which was a relief. The 90 minute time frame we ordered was the perfect amount of time considering the amount of kids we had. The staff members were professional and down-to-earth, the kids loved interacting with the animals and two fortunes took place. 1) Boots is the 1st horse to make a 10 year old girl comfortable enough to ride after her parents have tried quite a few times at her request but to no avail. 2) A family that lost their baby during week 18 of the pregnancy received therapy from the petting zoo. Nettie & her assistant were very helpful over the phone, when booking the event, they offered one of their bigger ponies (Rainbow) to accommodate the older children & even dressed her up to match our St. Patty's Day theme. I hired Nettie's Party Pals for my daughter's 3rd birthday party. They showed up on time with 2 professional pet wranglers who were really funny and upbeat. They brought a lot of animals: bunnies, chickens, goats, ducks, and sheep. They also brought the pony. The pony is really big and did not fit in the backyard, so the kids had to ride it in front of the house. The petting zoo was set up in the front lawn. Be careful because the goats eat EVERYTHING. We booked the pony ride/petting zoo combo for my daughter's 4th birthday and the kids could not get enough of the cute, well-cared for, animals. They showed up right on time and set up quickly and efficiently. The staff members (Bobbi Jo and Nate, maybe?) were great with both the children and adults and set a fun, positive tone for the party. They even let the girl next door hitch a pony ride home! There was an extra charge for mileage to get here, but it seemed like a fair amount.
