Love this quaint Belgium chocolate boutique. Immediately welcomed when the SO and I walked in. We appreciated the personal attention and free samples. This seemed like a new and interesting store to visit as I walked by, so I went in. This place is a small chocolate shop that sells Belgian chocolates. The staff was very friendly. The interior is filled with chocolate and had a fun chocolate egg in the middle. If you buy some items they will likely give you 2 complimentary chocolate balls along with your purchase. Overall, this place is a fun stop to visit if you're a chocolate fan. read more

This is a great place in the Mosaic District for high-quality Belgian chocolates, which opened in late fall 2022. I came for a visit in early February 2023 for a Valentine's Day gift and enjoyed the sampling taste of dark chocolate. If you have nut allergies, be sure to ask for the two sets which exclude nuts (they are more than happy to accommodate this need). Standard boxes of chocolate in sets of 16 or 32 pieces. They are a bit more expensive ($76 for the box of 32 pieces) than what you can find elsewhere, but for a special treat and elegant packaging, it's worth a try. The Belgian chocolatier claims to be the original home of the praline (wrapping chocolate around a treat) because its founder (a Swiss pharmacist) was inventing a way to make pills more palatable. Well, I'm glad we have pralines today instead of chocolate-covered medicine. Overall, it's worth stopping by to check out this Belgian chocolatier - they appear to be expanding their market presence in the Washington DC area! read more

I frequent this Neuhaus location. They sell fine Belgium chocolates and although they aren't cheap the price tag is worth it! The chocolates are among some of the best I've ever had. There's a reason why there are Neuhaus chocolate stores all over Belgium. We are so lucky to have one in Mosaic! Their rewards program is also great. If you haven't been in yet go and try a sample I guarantee you can't have just one chocolate. My favorite are from the irresistibles series. The FRISSON is so unique and amazing. It has nougatine filled with a white chocolate yuzu ganache. The service is also really good and they are very knowledgeable about the chocolate. They are great at providing suggestions! The inside of the store is clean, inviting and luxurious. I can't wait to return. They also have beautiful chocolate sets which would be perfect for gifts! read more

Neuhaus are some of the best Belgian chocolates that I have experienced. The flavor and texture is perfect. The shop is well kept and spotless with an excellent selection of flavors and a variety of different size combination boxes. The staff is wonderful, friendly and attentive. At the foot of a Target Store is probably the last place most people would expect to find a high-end Belgium Chocolate Shop, but that's exactly where you'll find the new Neuhaus Chocolates Shop in the Mosaic District! It has taken the spot of a former chocolates shop, so it's actually an ideal location for them. While the store is small, it's packed with chocolate treats!! One thing that I love about Neuhaus Chocolates is that while they are a legendary, high-end, sophisticated chocolate brand, the store is full of whimsical and fun products - from Smurf Stuffed Animals to teddy bear chocolates, to my favorite: the pink pig marzipans - which I was so happy to be treated to a sample of during my most recent visit! The store is hoping soon to have a glass case along the counter area where they can offer individual chocolates, which will be great! They are now selling boxes of chocolates with themes, such as "Happy Birthday," "Congratulations," and "Get Well Soon." What great gift ideas!! And I'm happy to say the staff here is as sweet as the products they are selling!! They are so personable and helpful!! This was my first time visiting Neuhaus, a Belgian chocolate store. As I walked in, the workers were ready to provide service, but assumed I was ready to order. I felt pressured to order, but I kept asking questions since this was my first time. Their responses were very superficial and rude. I even asked for recommendations and one lady responded "one sample per paying customer." I was not asking for another sample..I was asking for chocolate recommendations to pick out. Another customer walked in and the workers asked if it was their first time and greeted them politely. For me, I was going to pick out more chocolates but ended up just picking 5 because I wanted to try it despite their rudeness. I would not go here again since I feel they are rude to ethnic minorities. Chocolate is great, but the taste does not outweigh the rudeness. read more

I am beyond disappointed at my experience at Neuhaus in Falls Church. I was happy to learn that this store was opening in Mosaic, but I expected so much more. I have shopped at Neuhaus in Europe but they have lost me as a customer forever. The selection was minimal. The people working seemed lost and had no idea how to assist with my questions about a holiday order for my office. I asked for a manager and was told there was not a manager available. I was given the name of someone to call in NY and after leaving a message I never heard back. If you are looking for a quality experience, don't bother!
