What a wonderful little cafe! Popped in for a sweet treat & left with a full heart (& belly!). Their latte was just okay & was too much milk for the 1 shot of espresso. Also got 3 chocolates priced at $4 for 1 oz. Tiramisu & mango were delicious! But omg...their hazelnut brownie. Truly the best brownie my hubby & I have ever had & we've had many! It is rich & decadent with generous bits of hazelnuts inside to offer a bit of texture against the smooth, rich chocolate. We loved it so much we bought out the whole case! We told the owner (I think) that they were the best we've ever had & she brought us back to the team to tell them directly. What a sweet group of people with the kindest smiles & energy. Very solid coffee and chocolate shop. I have seen them on several occasions at different Fairfax City festivals and my daughter loves any of the chocolate treats. Today finally checked out their shop. I got 4 of the specialty chocolates and the two I tried were quite good (honey and chai). My daughter loved her chocolate covered marshmallow and hubby enjoyed his chocolate covered oreos. I didn't try the coffee today. There were a few seats in the main area, and there appears to be a side room too. Feel good getting local treats as they have a good service to the community too. read more

The coffee is amazing better than Dunkin or Starbucks to be honest. The baked goods are also so delicious and there are always many options to choose from. The service is always so welcoming and warm. There is not a lot of people when we come and we love that too since but people really should visit this cafe more often. read more

By far, from start to finish, this has been the best experience I have had with any business. I was looking into catering desserts for my daughter's first birthday, and everything was phenomenal. The staff was kind to put me in touch with the owner, where he gave customer favorite recommendations. We ended up ordering a number of cupcakes with various frosting flavors including vanilla, Raspberry, lemon, and chocolate hazelnut. They were all delicious but my favorite was the Raspberry. There were a number of delicious bars to choose from, and ended up choosing lemon bars, strawberry oat bars, Butterscotch blondies, and hazelnut brownie triangles. They were all phenomenal and it's hard to say which one was my favorite. The hazelnut brownie triangles were the first to go at the party. Everyone raved about all the desserts :) The owner and his staff were very prompt in communication and very patient with me as I finalized my order. They went above and beyond more than I could have asked for. I am forever grateful for all their team members and making my daughter's first birthday such a memorable experience. Absolutely delicious! I am not ashamed to say, that this place leads to happy tears. Cameron's purposefully hires employees whom are differently abled. This makes me thrilled. What a joy on so many levels. I love the folks who work here, and always will be a regular. This is a genuinely laid back place, and has a lot going for it. Delicious coffee. This has become my favorite "go-to" place for Valentine's Day chocolates for my wife. She is a fan of the dark chocolate salted caramels. You can either buy a pre-made box or select your own mix of chocolates in various sizes. The mission of Cameron's is wonderful. I think Valentine's Day is perhaps their second busiest time of the year. Rumor has it that St. Patrick's Day is the biggest sales day. It's a very cute store in the middle of the shopping plaza across from Mama Chang's and tucked around the corner from Artie's. You can't miss their trademark sign which is "Coffee and ..." Plenty of free parking is available in the shopping plaza. Give it a try if you're driving near Fairfax Circle (the intersection of Route 29 and Route 50). read more

I finally visited after picking up my lunch from Myung-Ga Kimbap next door, and I'm SOOOO glad I did. The confections are made with quality Belgian Callebaut chocolate. In addition to all the chocolates and sweets, they also have baked goods, granola, quiche, teas, and coffee. This place is not like any other cafe in town; it's much more special with a wonderful mission to serve those with disabilities. It's a Win-Win!! The shop is spotless and well-designed. There are many items nicely wrapped and available as original gifts. Bags of specialty spiced or sweet nuts, cards, chocolate dipped marshmallow pops, even dog treats - all ready to pick up and go - no additional wrapping needed. There aren't many food or bakery options but the drinks seem on point for a cafe. I did enjoy my Morning Glory muffin. Updating my review for COVID times! As always, Cameron's is a class act. Over the years, I've gotten to meet Cameron, her mom, and many of the other employees. This place gives me such hope in the future of our world. Founded on the principle that everyone can work and that people living with disabilities should have the option to work side by side with able coworkers, this place really proves their mission every day. They make the best chocolates in town, and every single one is hand crafted to perfection. Their coffee is good, as are the different varieties like lattes, iced coffee, and tea. The pastries are to die for, and some of the flavors are so creative (orange cardamom? Yum!!!) In recent times, they've done things a little differently. They have increased cleaning measures, implemented social distancing, and limited capacity and seating. In the warmer months, they had outdoor seating, but as VA has taken more serious measures to slow the spread, so have they. (Keep in mind that some of their employees have increased risks associated with COVID.) At the time of writing this, you are able to see the daily menu on the front door, call them, and have them bring it out to you. It all happens quickly and seamlessly. A coffee and a pastry from Cameron's does so much to brighten my day! Also, I introduced my toddler daughter to their hot cocoa, so there's really no going back from here. read more

Their halzelnut brownie is to die for !! U must try it if ur a brownie lover or not ! The gluten free muffin was delicious!! Perfect amount of sweetness and gooey texture. My workplace orders individual chocolates from Cameron's every Valentine's Day for our patients and office and they are always a big hit! They are located near Meokja Meokja and Artie's! They have plenty of parking for customers. I love their salted caramel chocolates. Most importantly, their mission is what attracted me to this coffee and chocolate shop. It's wonderful that they focus on hiring employees with developmental disabilities. Definitely recommend their chocolates! Not only was my lemon bar, apple pie crisp and chocolate cookie delicious but the people who made them were incredible. The reason they opened this bakery was to provide young adults with special needs a place to work and have fun cooking. I loved the concept and knew I had to come here when Brandi K. told me about this bakery. They greeted us immediately upon entering and you just felt welcomed right away. The decor was bright and colorful. Besides the goodies, I decided on the mango black tea and they put a cool stick that had small holes around the stick where the mango tea leaves were. in my cup. Given the other reviews, I made it here early expecting a line. Luckily for me, the java crowd had not awaken for their caffeine fix and I had the place to myself. I tried the quiche and coffee. The coffee itself was good, but it definitely isn't of the high end variety. The quiche was also good though I would recommend they get an oven to warm the quiche up. It comes pre-made to the shop which is understandable, but using the microwave to heat it up, isn't how I might approach that. Using a small convection oven might be a better solution but I ate it all so it wasn't the end of the world. Another reason to love this place is that they support giving back locally in a big way. Given the friendliness of the staff it is apparent they care and want you to have a great experience. read more

It's been on my list to visit this cute little non-profit bakery and confection shop. We had a chance to speak with the owners and learned a little bit about their concept. We also met some of the lucky employees and tasted some of the yummy treats and coffees/smoothies. The staff was SO helpful and accommodating. They went out of their way to make sure we could sample the goodies we purchased. We loved their strawberry and apple muffins, so fresh and flavorful. Hubby also ordered a generous sized smoothie. He loved it. We picked up chocolates, nuts, and coffee. The location is in the same strip mall as Arties and the Lotte Market. There appears to be sufficient parking in the morning. The store is clean and well maintained. They have a genuine concept that seems to benefit special needs employees. So what if I am paying premium prices for handmade candy, it's serving a special purpose, and Kudos for them! read more

Cameron's is the real deal. The coffee is good and the ham and cheese quiche was delicious. The also purchased some of their caramels and a dozen homemade cookies to carry home. The restaurant is clean and airy. It's quiet and plenty of seating room. They also have free wi-fi for any telecommuters looking to get out of the home office. The service is good, friendly and courteous but not over the top or hovering. They have many season appropriate gifts available for purchase e.g., chocolate bunnies for Easter, gift boxes and spreads in addition to their chocolates and baked goods. I had the pleasure of visiting Cameron's Coffee and Chocolates recently and I must say that I was very pleased with my experience. It is a small family run business that provides opportunities for people with intellectual disabilities. That alone makes this a worthy visit and cause to support. I legitimately have zero complaints. This place is a refreshing break from the noisy chain coffee places that we're used to where everyone is in a rush. Instead it has a very small town local café vibe where everyone knows your name. They have a typical assortment of teas and basic coffee drinks and a few sandwich options that they change up. They also have a great selection of unique baked goods and chocolate. I got an americano with a side of ghost pepper chocolates. I received my chocolate on a cute little glass plate (no paper plates!). My coffee followed shortly after. I thought to myself, "you mean I don't have to listen to my name loudly mispronounced while I make my way thru a crowd of people?"....win! I chose one of the few tables that they have and sat in the corner looking out the window at the cars passing by. It was very relaxing. I was never rushed and no one came over to clean around me while I enjoyed my coffee.  The coffee was pretty standard, nothing stood out to me about it. The chocolates however, were delightful! I love the mix of spice and sweet. Neither taste was overpowering, just a perfect marriage of flavor. I actually bought some as a gift for my dad. On to logistics, the parking was vast and free since it is in a shopping center. The WiFi was free and the lobby was clean. The bathroom was clean as well but it can only accommodate one person at a time. I highly recommend this adorable coffee shop. It makes a perfect first date venue :). read more

It's a family run business that gives job opportunities and training to individuals with intellectual disabilities. The staff is very friendly and were patient as we decided what we wanted. They have a variety of drinks but on this visit, I was interested in their sweets. All of their chocolates are in display cases, just waiting to be purchased and eaten. My fiance and I ordered a box of nine chocolates. This what we chose: salted caramel chocolates in white, dark, and milk chocolate, baileys, chocolate turtles, and dark chocolate coconut. The chocolates were delicious and well made. Not too sweet and the flavors were not overwhelming. My favorites were the Baileys and dark salted caramel chocolates. The atmosphere of Cameron's is relaxed. It's small, but bright with windows allowing for natural light. A locally owned coffee shop that serves delicious chocolate and supports a good cause? I feel bad giving them such a low review but I really feel like this place deserves 3.5 stars. Mostly due to the costs and lack of variety. I walked in looking for a smoothie or something cold I could get on this super hot day! I had heard about this place on yelp and I figured, might as well try it out! I noticed they had a bunch of cute different chocolates and little sweets like that. They also had free Wi-Fi the moment I walked in! I love free Wi-Fi! The place was very cute and well kept. It took me a while to order as I had to find the menu on the opposite wall. I did notice how costly most of the items were! 8$ for a milk chocolate bar! Yikes!!! I ended up getting some frozen yogurt. It was actually pretty good! It was nice and tart! Just the way I like it. The big disappointments though were the amount of toppings they put on the frozen yogurt. You really don't get that much!! The entire thing costs like 4.50$! I didn't think it was worth the cost at all! I would have liked to have been given more toppings because it was really not that much. The frozen yogurt itself was really good though! I loved the toppings and the hazelnut brownie was AMAZING! I wanted to go back and buy some of just the hazelnut brownie. Unfortunately, they weren't selling any. They only make a limited amount and this day they had only made enough for the toppings... A little strange, but I guess it works. I was a little disappointed but I guess it's like going to a restaurant and them being out of a certain item. Sometimes, it just happens. Service was really nice. The cashier wasn't pushy at all and she even explained how the menu worked and the frozen yogurt. I was so delighted that she was so patient with me because I did take forever to order. I also got some water and she even gave me ice ! Very very very good customer service. I was also able to try some samples and their sweets are good, but I still wouldn't pay those prices. My husband and I stopped by Cameron's Coffee & Chocolates after grabbing some lunch in the area, because a meal is not complete until you have a little dessert! :P This cute little cafe has been around for 23 years, and was founded through Every1 Can Work, a non-profit foundation (founded by the Grahams) which gives employment opportunities to those who have either defined or undefined intellectual/developmental/physical disabilities. I was surprised at how extensive their dessert menu was! They offer beverages (espresso drinks, coffee, teas, and hot chocolate); frozen yogurt; fruit smoothies; coffee shakes; chocolates (all hand-dipped in the store!); baked goods (blondies, cookies, muffins, brownies, and cupcakes (vanilla, double chocolate, salted caramel, raspberry lemonade, carrot cake, etc.)). They even had a shelf with some already pre-packaged items for easy gift-giving as well. When we walked in, they had a little 'afternoon special,' in which one hour before closing, all their baked goods were 40% off - WOOT WOOT. We ordered a strawberry cupcake, a raspberry muffin, a blondie, a fudge brownie, a regular cookie, a chocolate-dipped cookie, and some pieces of chocolates (milk chocolates filled with toffee, nuts, caramel, truffles, etc.). The staff were very helpful and was patient when we were making our selectiosn. Everything tasted fresh and not overly sweet; I was a fan of their handmade chocolates, as they were perfect bite-sized pieces, and a great way to sample a variety without getting overwhelmed. I'd love to come back and try out their holiday peppermint bark and their other varieties of cupcakes and hot beverages.
