One thing to stood out to me is how quickly they were able to get the jobs done. Jeremy, the owner, is very good at coordinating the various workers so there was very little waiting time during the project. He moves the project along quickly and does very good work. Another thing to stood out to me is the quality of his drywall work. My basement has a rather peculiar texture pattern, but his guy was able to perfectly match the pattern, and his seams and taping were so clean that there's no way to tell there was ever any work done. The shower he remodeled for me turned out very well. He was even able to relocate an exhaust fan, expand the size of the shower, and the quality of the tile & grout-work came out very well. Next year I plan to use Amason All Around again to remodel my two downstairs bathrooms.

This builder has lived here for decades and certainly knows the conditions. This is either pure evil or this builder does not read and gain knowledge, and/or just wants to save money, AND OR ALL THREE THINGS. We especially let them know ahead of time to please build a roof that will withstand the conditions here, a much steeper pitch than average. We knew the conditions. Do I really have to research to get the actual numbers in a contract : Roof pitch to be 7/12 - 8/12 ??? (6/12 is just average, don't take this risk in Idaho if you are thinking about building a home here BTW) If you want to hire this builder, then our advice is to hire an inspector and check on every step in the process with their roofing, and so forth and so on, which would already be an adversarial relationship, good luck with that. You should have trust in a builder to be honest. They built part of the roof that is 3/12, unacceptable. They have done an number of many, many other things to save money and state that this is a "Custom Home".

Bought what appeared to be a beautiful brand new home built by Daum little over 4 years ago. There…read morewas a 1 year warranty provided by Daum at purchase. In that year, the garage door never sealed due to improper cement work. Multiple cracks developed in the driveway. Again caused by improper cement work. Daum was impossible to contact for warranty repair because they have no contact info to call them. You have to use their online form which they never responded to. I have since added my own glue down seal/gasket for the door to butt against. Forced to live with the cracks. Spin to 4 years later... 1. The "brand new" furnace failed due to improper installation. Told this by the HVAC company that I had come in to replace it. Over $10,000 later, we have heat again. 2. The concrete has continued to sink over the years. The front door doesn't line up anymore. The roof over the front walk has sagged over 3 inches because the walkway has sunk that much opening up very large cracks. 3. The laminate flooring throughout most of the house was installed improperly and is bucking upwards. We have had to resort to taping it down just so we don't trip on the flat floor. 4. All of the window coverings are pulling out of the walls because there are no headers above the windows to secure them to. Just screwed into drywall. 5. Random breakers trip every couple months or so for no apparent reason. Making me really question the electrical in the place. In summary, this house has basically been a nightmare from day one. We have talked to a friend that also bought a Daum constructed home and it's sounding like he's having equal level of issues with his place too. If you are looking for a home and come across one built by Daum, I would run far far away. I do not and will never recommend this construction company. They are too focused on putting lipstick on a pig in order to make super model profits.
