When the old water line was cut (within the drywall of the interior home room) the guy wasn't paying attention, leaving the cut and going out to his van. There was a LOT of residue water in the line and had I not been watching and able to capture the drainage at least a gallon of water would've spilled between the drywall and the house frame. Little to no ventilation in that space assuredly would've led to mildew and perhaps the need to replace drywall. Secondly, before leaving I noticed he hadn't used any foam fill between the outside wall and the spigot. I asked about it and he said, "It doesn't need it". Malarky! It was needed and I applied it myself after a run to the store. This was just laziness on his part. Yeah, if in a pinch again and Hometown was the only shop available to fix I'd go with them again. Otherwise, I'll look elsewhere for plumbing needs.

Water was backing up from a basement floor drain in my South Hill Spokane home, creating a messy and urgent situation. Technician Brandon arrived and, after I described the recurring problem in detail, tested the drain by running water. He then briefly ran a cable snake only about 2 feet into the drain and stopped. He provided no diagnosis, no explanation for the backup, and admitted he didn't have a camera scope on hand--which likely would have revealed the root cause. After roughly 45 minutes, he left without resolving anything. I was shocked to be billed $462 for this unproductive visit. Hoping for some accountability, I left a message two days later for General Manager Chris, asking him to call me about Brandon's service. It's now January 7, 2026--nearly two months later--and Chris has never bothered to return my call, showing a complete lack of integrity or concern for customer satisfaction. Fortunately, I found a reputable plumbing company in the area. Their general manager and team were responsive, thorough, and fixed the problem permanently. Raptor Rooter's work was inadequate, their follow-through appalling, and their overall integrity horrendous. Save yourself the frustration and money--I STRONGLY RECOMMEND YOU CHOOSE ANYONE ELSE for work beyond attaching a garden hose.

Theses guys were first rate in updating the existing system of knob and tube and a fuse panel to a large circuit breaker box. They also installed ceiling fans as well as exterior wall sconces while dealing with plaster and lath walls. They cleaned up after themselves and put me in position to come through and patch the holes that were required to access the wiring. I would highly recommend Tieson and his crew. They didn't take any shortcuts as borne out by the electrical inspector. We will be hiring them again and would recommend them to our friends anytime. It was a fair price for a job well done.

Epic was called and came out twice only to tell me that it was working properly. We are faced with using space heaters, fans and a portable AC to find any relief from the cold and heat in the winter and summer, respectively.
