They were defensive (it's their job, I get it), and said you can take your lab work anywhere your insurance allows. Me: I was a cash pay client which means I don't have insurance. Morale of the story, the doctor and staff need to improve their services by communicating with their clients about next steps and costs up front. Don't surprise your new client with embarrassment at the lab and leave them high and dry to search for a new empathetic dr and staff. The end.

I had an appointment today at 11am. I call 10:45 because my televist link wasn't sent. That's when I found out that my appointment was canceled because they did not have the records. I also cannot get an appointment until June because Dr. Martin will be out doing surgeries all of May. How do you run a business like this? This is the worst experience I have ever had with the healthcare system. Some people are not meant to be doctors.
