The center is clean and well maintained. There are a number of different workout machines and there are physical therapists that specialize in certain things. I've been here for tendinitis in my wrists, back and neck issues after an car accident, and most recently for therapy after knee surgery. I've found the therapists to be friendly and they do an great job pushing you and keeping you going. While I hope I don't need to return here, I gladly will if my body necessitates it.

This facility is devoted to treating and rehabilitating patients who need to recover from injuries,…read moresurgeries, and/or muscle atrophies. I was sent here by an occupational injury doctor to help improve movement and swelling in my hand. There are various treatment rooms that have physical therapy specifics. And I was sent to the Hand Therapy Department. My assigned therapist was Freeman Wong who took his job seriously. Detailed measurements and strength readings are taken of the injury sites for future reference when comparisons are made during the healing process. Then we begin the session by placing my hand inside a machine containing ground corn husks that swirl around by a heated fan. 15 minutes of hand exercises through the hot cornmeal. This actually helped quite a bit at getting my hand to loosen up and feel less painful! Then the therapist does some pretty tough manipulations of my stiff, injured index finger. We go through numerous exercises of different positions and angles. Followed by vigorous scar management. This consists of using a piece of rigid rubber like material called a "Dycem". This little pad sticks to your skin just enough to allow an application of firm pressure for tugging and rotating the tissues in a circular or back & forth motion. The idea is to keep scars from permanently adhering at the injury site. Can be a painful process, but makes sense if scaring is of concern. An ultrasonic machine is used after wards that produces a mild tingling sensation to the muscles in an effort to improve healing. Of course, continuing the exercises at home on a daily basis is necessary towards a speedy recovery also. Needless to say, I was impressed by the concern and professionalism given to me during my sessions. I found out how important physical therapy is to anyone with an injury or movement difficulties. This place is a little hard to find if you are not familiar with all the groupings of medical buildings in the area. The address says Frank Richardson Court, but it isn't really a public street. It is actually within the parking lot. There are some small street signs in the parking facility that just says "Richardson". Once you see it, then you eventually find the location.

I was told I had to leave my room for my roomate so she could have privacy on the phone. When I needed privacy I went for a walk or used the garage or the backyard. There were plenty of empty areas at any given time. I have trust issues so leaving my private area with my personal belongings made me feel uncomfortable and I even communicated that but it did not good. I had a mental breakdown that nobody had any idea of and wouldn't have known about if I didn't check myself in to a hospital. When I got out I found out they had my dog picked up by her dad which was good but I found out that they didn't even wait an hour of me being gone before they dumped my dog. Then when I got out they refused to let me come home in fact I had to wait 4 days before I could come get my belongings. I spent over $1100 on groceries and when I got there they told me I could go pack up my room but they already packed my groceries.??? I noticed that I had some food missing so when I looked around the kitchen I seen my food in other people's areas I collected what I could but a lot of it was MIA. I figure the owner or manager must have taken it. When I told them and let them know I bought the food with foodstamps and that is theft they just hung up on me. It says on the rules that taking food is stealing and that is an automatic exit. I also asked for my rent back my prorated amount since I paid rent and it was only the 4th. He said no. I asked for my fees back and deposit since I was only there 6 weeks and they said no I asked to be reimbursed for my food and I still have not been called back after being hung up on. The live in manager Mike was very old fashioned and he didn't like 2 of the other males and even called them R*yards and f*cking idiots. I also had one of the men residents come into the kitchen while the owner was there and yell in my face I was so upset I was shaking and crying and I was surprised that out of the 5 men present i was the only female nobody intervened. He was the biggest guy in the house though. I didn't feel safe or secure at that house for many reasons. I just got out of residential treatment and my money was tight that whole situation would have sent anyone back into active addiction and I'm sure they were aware of that.

I had to visit here and check the place out for someone I know. And it's really really great!…read more I went ahead of time to check it out and everyone there is super nice. It's a clean living environment and the owner and house manager are super fast to respond to you if you need anything. They were very understanding and very organized. Everyone in the house seems like they get along and they seem like they look out for one another which is great to hear.
