I had been trying to navigate BP1 and the comorbidities I have since I was 19. I was tired of being prescribed random medications to "try out" by other psychiatrists that never really seemed to care about taking time to understand what would be best for my symptoms. I never stuck with a psychiatrist longer than 3 months due to my lack of trust. I can't recommend Dr. Lippmann enough. He has helped me so much to find what medications are best for me and removing unnecessary medications. He's helped me understand more of my diagnoses and answers any of my questions. He has helped me get to the longest stable period I've ever had. After becoming stable, he has been able to witness my husband and I get engaged after 6 years, get married a year later, and many other moments in my life that have happened because of his guidance. I, my husband, my family, my friends, and my coworkers have all noticed such a difference and are so appreciative of all that he's done to better my life. I finally feel like I have better control and understanding of my diagnoses.

He's so knowledgeable and attentive, and you can tell he's super passionate about what he does. The first time I came, I had been having severe pain in my knees for months and months- I got an MRI and found out I had a partial tear in my meniscus and other damaged cartilage behind my kneecap. The surgeon didn't want to touch it so I wasn't given a guidance and it just continued to get worse. When I came here, Clark finally helped me figure out that the issue wasn't even all the torn and damaged cartilage, but that my kneecap was out of place from all my years playing basketball. He helped get to the root of my issue and had my knee feeling better in a little over a month when no one else was giving me any real answers. Clark is also a former college athlete, which I am myself, and having someone who's been through similar experiences and knows how to help my injuries that have stemmed from playing sports made me even more comfortable. All of the PT's here are great- I've talked to multiple other patients and many of them have come back for different issues and gotten the help they needed. Even Alicia who works at the front is the sweetest admin and helps get all the insurance and appointments set up swiftly. The lady in the front desk was super rude and had an unprofessional attitude towards my family and me. As we waited in the waiting room, my name was called and I wanted my family to come with me. The nurse said, "No one is allowed to accompany him." The nurse was very rude and had a chip on her shoulder. By Florida law, one can bring in a family member to accompany them to a medical room. To not bring up tension, I listened to the mean nurse. My rights were violated and I was so uncomfortable with the walk-in medical appointment. Please, do not come to Sunshine Urgent Walk-in Clinic. Robinson Family Clinic has been an answer to my prayers. They are a medical facility but they take a much more holistic approach to care, which is what I'd been praying for. They are all caring and friendly and I feel truly cared for, not like I'm just a patient number on a chart, which is how I've felt everywhere else. I truly feel listened to and cared about. I see Lindsey, the NP, and she has been exceptional. I would highly recommend them to anyone needing a primary care physician.

I was also told that since I haven't been going there over two years, I cannot be accommodated for a same-day sick visit. While I understand office policies, the way this was communicated felt unhelpful and discouraging. The front desk experience makes it difficult to continue care here. I had to go to an urgent care instead, so I also made an appointment for a primary at the new place since even tho it was my first time there, I do not have to be established to be seen right away.
