No response from the horrible property managers Brendan and Yahdira. Awful service. I dont know how property owners trust them either. Your assets are in BAD HANDS. I have called this company 8 times or more. They do not return calls. If they do they will give you number that leads to no where. The only live person I have talked too is the receptionist. Why would you even want to list your property y with a company that never ever returns calls. This company is the worst. Only 5 stars seem to be from the property owners Landlords and I see why. Horrible company to renters. Kaitlyn and Jonathan are so unprofessional. Had to live with a yard full of animal poop. Landlord had no money and wouldn't really fix anything, would just bandaid everything. Do not rent from them, and use Rhino because no matter what they will keep your deposit if you hold them accountable to have tenants clean up after their animals. Rhino is in my opinion borderline predatory company NCS pushes. Charged $55 for excessive wear and tear, we were some of the cleanest tenants. Kept our animal deposit and charged almost $200 for carpet cleaning the bedroom of already stained carpet. They only like you if you don't hold the apartment to the standards of when you move in and don't complain about excessive dog poop pile up, and dog poop left near your door step. Take 4-5 days to answer maintenance requests through the portal. We would have to call and leave irritated VM to have anything done. Reading the other reviews reminded me they would always send a guy that looked like he was ready for his next fix, did a number drilling out the mailbox at 8:30 at night. Same guy was sent to another tenant expected to do work alone with a female in her apartment at night?! No thank you! read more

The folks at Nevada Commercial Services are awful to work with. They don't give appropriate notices when changing out the carpeting, painting the building, or any other maintenance projects that affect client traffic flow to the businesses that rent in my office building. They are by far the worst property management company I've worked with. read more

Got a text today at 5pm on Friday, so after they closed for the weekend, that I was being threatened to be evicted. We have the money with nowhere to send it to due to a lack of explanation and having our ability to pay online suddenly revoked. We were also under the impression from one of the property managers that we were okay to wait for our deposit to pay the rest of our rent from our previous unit under the same company. The eviction is to be filed Monday with no way to appeal or speak to a property manager to rectify any sort of agreement that was made. It is unacceptable that you waited until the very last minute before I could do nothing to say anything at all. Way to really help your tenants. Update as of Monday April 17th, 2023 at 4:35 pm: I've just gotten off the phone with Bethany. I reached out earlier this morning and was told I'd get a call back, as I'm trying to get rental assistance to continue living in my unit. These people have done everything but work with me. Time after time they've proven they are all talk and no help. I've been threatened with eviction and now that I'm trying to resolve the issue, nobody wants to help. You guys have also threatened to charge me for every month until a new tenant moves in after you guys EVICT me. You guys just love to talk. Then, when you don't listen to what I'm saying to you, say that I "threatened" you. Not once was a threat uttered from my mouth. Not once. You guys threatened ME, not the other way around. Play victims and line your pockets, that's all you guys care about. You do not care about anyone but yourselves. Not very professional. They ask for rent but if your a couple days late they turn off the means to pay rent. It's like they want the money but they don't want it. It seems that they would rather kick me out then accept payment. Not very logical. Owner is cheap as hell. The place was renovated but at the cheapest price possible and you can definitely tell from the work done. It's amazing that they think it's worth $1200 a month. With trash overflowing every week. A lack of parking. Homeless and drug activity taking place on the property. Break ins to the secure building. Gun shots on the second floor. Constant police activity. Children running threw the halls and dogs constantly barking. This is exactly the quite place I was told I'd be renting. Did I mention the lack of cleaning done to the elevator , hallways and stairwells. 3 years not once has the stairs been cleaned. I'm not exaggerating, I've got proof) before I was relocated to another unit...., did they do a walk through with me (before or after)? nope. but did they keep my deposit anyway? of course. who the fuck paints over wood without sanding it down first? who paints one layer? of course paint will chip off. that's called normal ware and tare on a shitty paint job. They didn't replace the blinds or window screens in that unit before I moved in, I also got proof of that, but I got charged for it in the end?? what the actual fuck?!? I begged for a new AC unit for years, because they are from the 80s (broken, just old and broken)....they didn't replace it until I pitched a fit about it and gave my notice to vacate. I enjoyed a new AC for a month. thanks I guess? when I had spoken to my property manager FACE TO FACE about it in the past....she told me to rinse out the filter. fuck her. she knew it needed to be replaced. she saw for herself. This company is cheap and could care less about their tenants. OH AND WHY AM I GETTING CHARGED FOR REKEYING? I returned the keys. one set was given to me and that's what I delivered personally to their office. why am I getting charged a rekey fee?? that's NCS job!! I've never in my fucking life been charged for a rekey after vacating. These people can suck a fucking DICK! and judging from these reviews online and in person, from people still living in these properties....why the fuck do people pay rent if NCS refuse to do basic maintenance? NCS is a SLUMLORD company. We often have to wait weeks (or months) for even basic repairs. One tenant's toilet was broken for MONTHS before it was finally replaced. Right now, another tenant is going without a refrigerator because his broke and they won't replace it (illegal, by the way). I am supposed to have an air conditioner in my apartment during the warm months. They remove it for winter to save on heating costs. When I moved in, I had an agreement with the (previous) owner that I would have an air conditioner. I HAVE to have one. I am disabled and have health problems and the heat makes me very sick. I've lived here nearly ten years and never had a problem about the A/C until a few years ago when the new owner bought the building and hired this horrible management company, and now we fight over the A/C every year. I am on Section 8, and Reno Housing Authority decided to enforce a rule that there must be two forms of egress (ways to escape in case of a fire) for each room. That means they can't put the A/C in the bedroom window anymore. They just told me that they (NCS) aren't allowed to put in the A/C at all. That's NOT the rule. They are abusing the rules so they don't have to pay the extra cost to run the A/C (utilities are included in my rent). There are other ways to install the A/C and they know it. We've talked several times about it. Don't rent from them. They are cheap, hateful, condescending, spiteful people and they see their tenants as nothing more than a paycheck. To them, we are not human. Oh, and if you do rent from them, be careful. They have been stealing money from my deposit. They are probably doing it to you, too. It is illegal for them to touch your deposit until you move out, and even then, it can only be used for actual damages. Deposits are SUPPOSED to be kept in interest-bearing accounts, separate from rental accounts. Just so you know that I know the law. I wonder if that's embezzlement? Does anyone know? I went on vacation not to long ago and our rent check was lost in the mail. Sent another and too my surprise I wasn't charged a late fee! They were there always fast, always professional.. And now thru this virus shut down, NCS is doing all they can to try and help where they can.. If I could put a zero, I would. I lived on Brinkby, which is managed by this company. There is never anyone in the office, you cannot get a repair done and they charge for everything. Our window was broken from the outside in a common area and we were charged for it. We were told if we did not pay it, that they would take it out of our rent and consider our rent past due. When we moved out, we were charged over $1000 for all kinds of things, most of which should be covered under normal wear and tear. They are remodeling the units, but the remodels are very cheaply done and we were also charged for them to redo the counter tops, which should have fallen under the remodel. There were shootings and our car was broken into during the year we lived there. They also up your rent every chance they get. The management have no idea what they are doing. They have nothing in place for COV-19 victims. Whether that be people who actually contracted the virus or who had lost their jobs to business closures. I was trying to get ahold of Heather, the property manager, for several hours and when she finally called me back I was driving. I called back 8, then 12, then 20 minutes later with no call back. She finally answered me the next day and when I asked to give my 30 day notice one day early for their refusal to call me back, she said no. Additionally, the whole bathtub was sealed incorrectly at Evergreen Apartments and it flooded continuously. I've put in several noise complaints about neighbors who are physically abusive to each other and can be heard fighting throughout the day, but there was nothing done. Eventually I gave up on getting any support from anyone who works for Nevada Commercial Services. I'm incredibly disappointed for the lack of care that goes toward the people who have been affected by this virus. read more
