I am in documented pain. I need 2 knee replacements due to severe osteoarthritis. When I was referred back to them after leaving them seven years ago they made a false accusation that I didn't have an enzyme in my urine that breaks down my prescription... suggesting that I was not really talking them knowing my condition causes chronic pain. I see this trend happening a lot with this company with people of color and I intend to have a lawyer look into it. When I researched this supposed enzyme it is widely known that not everyone produces this. Producing the enzyme has genetic and health factors including medications already being taken. They gave me a lot of problems getting into the appointment for about 2 months and I have been without pain management for 2 months waiting to see them when they could have just told me that they had issues and I would've went elsewhere. I left them seven years ago and since then had no problems with urine testing with other pain management offices... only leaving because of an insurance issue. Please don't waste your time if you are a person of color. They suggest that we are either drug dealers or addicts. read more

So far only 4 stars because I had a 6am Appt and they don't even open their doors until 6am so if you get there 15 min early you have to wait. I would suggest they open their doors at 5:30 so people could go in and sit down. However I found the staff to be friendly and helpful . I had an insurance problem and the clerk worked for quite awhile and finally got it settled saving me time and money and a hassle! The surgical team couldn't have been nicer and the doctor doing the procedure was great! Dr Perel is who I go to and right away he listened to My problem and found a solution for me. I am in the middle of utilizing that solution now this being my second procedure for this problem. I have one more and can't wait to get it ! I have been in different hospitals and surgical centers all over the U S . I once was hospitalized for a year and weighed 69 lbs when I went home in the 60's . They saved my life !. BELIEVE ME WHEN I SAY I KNOW GOOD CARE FROM BAD CARE! This review is not to say anything bad about this Pain Center just covering everything I experienced in my time there. read more

I have been in pain management for about seven or eight years now, my prior pain management doctor stopped taking my insurance and they referred me here, I had absolutely not one problem with my other doctors office regarding my pain medication. This office, however, I have had nothing but problems, Which led to them cutting me off from pain medication completely, I am now going through withdrawals, they offered me nothing to even help with it, told me to call my primary doctor, in which they are out of the office for Christmas until January. We will first start with my first failed urine test, apparently I had zero opioids in me, which may be true because I have a problem, remembering appointments, which is due a lot to my ADHD, which they should know I have because my Adderall was talked about at my first appointment here, so they know I take it And why else would I take it, because of ADHD. I'm not using it as an excuse, but I do forget a lot of appointments, and they did start having problems with their text reminders all of a sudden, after about six or seven months, but before that I made all my appointments because they sent those reminders out. My second failed urine test, was because they decided to prescribe me Suboxone, this is when one of their doctors by the name of vergara I believe, suggested it. That doctor made me feel awful for being on opioids even had me in tears, so I just agreed with her and said OK I'll try it. So another time I forgot about my appointment I ended up taking that so I didn't feel sick, which is why they found it in my urine so that was my second one.. I could understand if they also found opioids in me along with the Suboxone, but they did not. I also was unaware that I wasn't allowed to take that, and I was told it was in the fine print. My third test, I failed because they said I had oxycodone in me, rather than hydrocodone in me . Which could not have been true. So here I am, still going through withdrawals, nothing to help as I work full-time, and have young children. If you are forgetful, or have ADHD, just don't bother going here. Also, don't take a medicine they prescribe you either, you might fail your urine screening for it . Like seriously, that's insane. Especially because I didn't mix it with an opioid. who reads the fine print? We try, but sometimes we just don't read all of it.. Moral of this post, they do not care, their urine screenings are crazy because I had no oxycodone in me. And of course, if I miss an appointment, maybe somebody won't have Oakleys in them right? Not even to offer anything to eliminate, the withdrawals is beyond my belief. read more

Appointment made with customer service supervisor for Mon 1/13/2025 for 1 pm. Email said to show up at least by 12:45 pm. Called Mon am to say I was visually unable to fill out the long forms online & needed help. Agreed to show up by Uber before 12:30 pm & was repeatedly ttold office staff would help me with forms. Disabled senior, been in bed with the flu virus & still very sick for 3 months, needed treatment for fibromyalgia & severe arthritis pain, terrible physical condition, barely able to shower & dress. Showed up via Uber early to find LOCKED door & sign saying NO admittance until 1 pm. Coldest & windiest day of the year in Vegas. Dressed warmly but shook like a leaf for over 1/2 hr. Cannot physically stand when I'm in the best of health as I repeatedly explained when I booked the appointment. Upon finally opening the door staff insulted me, pointed to the sign saying office was locked until 1 pm, saying he didn't make the appointment. Then said that there was NO ONE to assist me to fill out the necessary forms. Demanded to know WHY I hadn't filled them out myself. Demanded to know WHY I couldn't find someone else to fill them out for me. Claimed whoever booked my appointment (main HQ of clinic) hadn't told me that there was NO ONE to help me with the forms. Office Manager was evern MORE VERBALLY ABUSIVE saying that she was not responsible for me freezing outside & being colder than I have ever been in my entire life because she had posted a sign saying the clinic was closed until 1 pm. Offered to send her a copy of the email saying I should be there before 12:45pm, and to talk to her co-worker who told me to be there before 12:30 pm. She said she had nothing to do with what I was told. Then I was told to go home (expensive RT Uber ride) and find someone else to help me fill out the forms online. read more

My injury is due to a car accident this doctors office refuses to see me unless they can get a legal lien for them to get paid more money. Instead of billing the insurance As per the referral. I told them I don't have an open case. I have two surgeries coming up. It's a good thing I know how they treat their patient. It's all about money or you can't get any care. Used to be a patient there, the only good thing there was Dr.Jenabi. He left and now my care from this place is out the window. 1) Make an appointment on hold for 45 minutes at list 2) Then they hand up on you 3) leave a message, no one ever return your call. 4)they have Mutiple locations but force you to go to the location of their choice ask to transfer they won't do it. 3) Even contrary to the insurance company the receptionist always insists on collecting a co-pay for post follow up. 5) After get my approval from the insurance company for my procedure its like pulling teeth to get schedule. The medical scheduler is rude. Was approved on April 2024 for June 13 2024 procedure, Some one called me on Friday for Monday that the procedure would be cancel due to taking antibiotic, said that they will reschedule in 10 days,I called several times, left messages and no one ever took the time to get back to me,Now its August 2024 the scheduler is telling me that since its been a while I have to be reevaluated,transfer me to scheduling,on hold for 1 hour,then the scheduler said that she has to check my availability, put me on hold for 30 minutes then hung up. Been coming here for years. Been treated very well until recently. Doctor Peril and nurses are outstanding. The only problem is with the billing department. Ive had numerous pain procedures done here for the last 6 years all the same procedures with no billing issues until recently. These same procedures I have had numerous times for years coming here are now coming back saying that my insurance does not cover some of these procedures. They don't tell you this until the procedure is finished. This problem has became so bad, I finally stopped coming here. I have a neurostimulator from this place after years of drug pain management . It's a long process but doing ok now.

Doctors are extremely rude and aggressive. Almost forced my mom to wear a device for back pain that was hurting her even worse then what her issue is. Doctor exclaimed " You'll feel better when you rest at home" as my mom begged on her knees for them to take off the machine. She felt better as soon as they took the pain management device off her. They also never called her to make sure was okay and she had to reach out to them herself. Please consider different locations before going here for pain. After being treated for at least 5 years for extreme pain- 5 damaged discs and serious spinal stenosis, and refusing more useless injections and physical therapy, dr. Kunal priakh (sp) just decided to stop prescribing any medications for me. No plan for changing my meds or any help, just told to find another doctor. Had to visit a few times over the course of a week for some issues I was having with my back. The facility has a really big waiting area with lots of seating. The receptionists are relatively friendly and got me settled in with paperwork with ease. I never had to wait too long after my scheduled appointment to be seen. Dr. Parikh is a gem. Really kind, cares about his patients, and doesn't skip any steps. He referred me to get an MRI before we made a treatment plan. Since getting the results of the dreaded MRI, we are conservatively working our way towards recovery. I'm in good hands. read more

Think twice, maybe even 3 times about going to this practice! I've had horrible experiences. And yes, I meant to use the plural. Today was the absolute last chance for these people to make it right. When I first started going after moving to Las Vegas from California I tried to explain that because of gastric bypass surgery pills don't absorb correctly in my body. My doctor in California had tested multiple times to verify that fact. When he did anything that could be prescribed in liquid form was prescribed that way. I didn't argue when I was told they do not prescribe anything in liquid form. I did explain what happens when I take pills. This exact consequence of having to take pills occurred causing abnormal test results. Before my visit today I had gone in to give them another chance at treating me with respect and compassion. The time before I had expressed to the doctor that I was terrified to go to physical therapy. I wasn't even afforded an opportunity to explain before the doctor repeatedly said I was refusing to go. I was then told that they would not do anything further for me. This doctor then put in my chart that I was non compliant. This was very wrong. Fast forward a year... I went back and was very rudely informed I would receive no help from them because of what that doctor said in my chart... Fast forward another year. Since I was unable to get my insurance to approve another pain management clinic I had to go back. I've been taking ibuprofen for severe back pain this whole time. I was recently put on blood thinners and can't take the ibuprofen any longer. So, I went back again still hoping for another outcome. There was a change this time... Now along with the statements of noncompliance there's statements that my tests have been abnormal too much... They have not made consideration for the issues caused by my gastric bypass surgery or even a trip to the ER just before my last appointment there... If you go here be prepared for decent treatment as long as you don't have any pre existing conditions that can affect how you absorb medication... Also, if their attempts to help don't work good luck staying in their care... They have been known to say a person is "stable on the current treatment" and send you back to your primary care that probably doesn't deal with chronic pain management! I don't review places often... Never doctors but I have been in that office hearing the same complaints from other people. I took my husband there today for an 9am appointment and was told that the appointment had been canceled. It was not canceled by me or my husband. Someone in the office did. Although is was not my fault they would not see my husband. They wanted us to reschedule the appointment and I said no. My husband is 80 year old and when he is in need of pain management I will have to take him to the ER. I will never take him back there. read more

I have known him for years and have never had a problem getting my treatments. I would recommend Nevada Comprehensive Pain Center. I don't take pills or pain medication's at all. I have never in my life taken those drugs. I refuse to take them. I wouldn't want to get hooked on something as bad as those drugs. They don't push drugs at me. I take Tylenol if need be and I get radio frequencies to my neck and I had my sacroiliac joint done. I asked for a second opinion because I knew the sacroiliac joint damage could be repaired. January 24 I had my sacroiliac joint fixed fused with three pins in both sides. It was the greatest decision I ever made and it was so nice that Nevada Comprehensive Pain Center let me get a second opinion. I do recommend them. I can't believe the bad reviews in here. I've never had a bad time at that office ever. I've always been well cared for. I'm waiting to get in again to have my neck done because since I had my sacroiliac joint surgery, I'm overdue to get my neck done so it's just a matter of days now and I'll be able to get that taken care of. read more

Dr. Kelner's M.A stated last Friday over the phone that my Pre-Authorization was pending. This was on 04/02/2021... And today is Monday, 04/05/2021 Jennifer the manager in scheduling at 4:51 pm stated that my Pre-Authorization is pending and then stated it was just sent this morning when the Medical Assistant said it was sent that day which Friday. The truth is somebody NOT telling the truth. Why aren't they being Professional any why are they lying to me? I AM IN SO MUCH PAIN I went to an EMERGENCY ROOM IN FEBRUARY 3 TIMES AND ALSO TODAY 04/05/2021. I can no longer walk without stumbling and Trembling in pain. There should have been an Authorization number able to be provided if they actually sent in the pre-approval notice. Jennifer said there is nothing. I didn't get an auth number Friday and didn't get one today either. Please note- this company has multiple locations, and this review is specific to a different location. This place is the perfect storm of incompetent, uncaring, and rude. They don't listen to you at all. They want to perform random procedures even if you have previously had them and they didn't help. They are open odd, very limited hours and have high staff turnover that causes patients to be shuffled between different "providers" (who by the way are NOT doctors, just over glorified nurses) who don't care about you, and are suspicious of you for no good reason. They are unprofessional and disorganized- they won't update your records with current information and will cancel or reschedule appointments on you last minute and will claim they tried to contact you using old information. They also make it difficult to get treated anywhere else. They claim they are in favor of treatment other than pain meds, but when I tried to get treatment from ANOTHER place that was a type of physical therapy, they delayed my treatment there for over a month, due to their incompetence and dishonesty. The therapist needed to see my medical records to begin treatment, and they ignored all requests for my records. They lied and said they had been sent when they were not, and sent unusable irrelevant information as well. They have several offices that serve different functions, such as one location for general appointments and another for procedures, and none of them know what the other are doing. If you call one place, they won't have any idea what the other location is doing. Some of the staff are courteous, but some are either aloof or downright rude. There is one especially nasty woman, a skinny bleach blonde with ridiculous hair and huge fake eyelashes with a horrible tan who looks WAY past her prime. Avoid her at all cost. Bottom line, this place is run by incompetent, uncaring people that are only trying to maximize profits by billing your insurance company for unnecessary procedures, and they treat you like a criminal whether you have done anything wrong or not. Avoid this place if you can. I've seen worse, but that isn't saying much. Unfortunately, the media have helped create an environment that puts a negative stigma on people with chronic pain, and places like this is the result. I had an appointment yesterday for injections in my neck. I had no one to drive me home after sedation so I set up an Lyft, that wasn't good enough, had to be medical transport, this was to be my second session. I opted for a local so I could do the procedure. It was so painful that I passed out so they had to abort the session. They were so uncaring and just angry at me, they wheeled me to the reception area and told me to call my own Lyft. My neck hurts so badly today I am back to square one. Wouldn't recommend this center for anything. read more

Eight years I went to see this guys. Dr James Boesiger who filled me with Opana which is the same thing as oxymorphone and was really proud to be a spokesman for them was prescribing 100ds of pills a month after my neck surgery. He's been prescribing oxymorphone and oxycodone every month for me . the last three years I have asked him every month to take me off opioids and he has refused and talked me out of it. For a few months I was seeing another Dr. Dr Leia who was talking to me about doing something different and than I was sent back to James for some reason and he appeared mad that I had talked to someone else. He again told me Leia was crazy and I should just stay with the opioids, the following month, He claimed I had a dirty urine sample and that he wouldn't prescribe me any more opioids but he wouldn't cut me off cold turkey so he game me a fourteen pill prescription and to him that was good enough and told me not to come back. That is how much this people care about you. They don't and they don't even understand how opioids work or He would never have done that. To give somebody opioids for over eight years and than to get them off of opioids to give them 14 pills has to be one of the most unethical things a so called Dr. can do. read more

Lake Mead location Dr Coppell rudest doctor I have ever had! Because I refused injections he dismissed me as a patient. I saw him on my first visit and in the almost 3 years I've been a patient this was the second time I saw him. I usually nurse practioner I have no problem w that. They all treated me with respect so did all their staff. He told me that this was my last visit since I refused the injections. I have several medical issues that cause me chronic pain including RA. I've had these injections in the past and they didn't work so that's why I didn't want to do them again. He said he wasn't gonna loose his license for only prescribing narcotics for me. He said to me "look at you with a walker and you sit around taking pills, I'm a spine doctor and I treat spines". Well I have a jacked up spine that causes constant pain. I also have reumtoid arthritis always in pain every day.. I have physical therapy 2 days a week. I am doing what I can to keep going.. I have a high pain 0tolerance so take the meds at night so I can sleep or to takethe edge off. He has no clue! If I was a pill junkie then why was it a month and a half between my visits. I felt like he was judging me. He's wrong! I thought pain management was supposed to manage pain but I feel that part of his refusal to treat me any longer is because he can't make extra money on me if I don't take the injections. I understand that federal regulations have doctors on edge but there is a way to speak to people and he needs to learn how to show respect. Of you are looking for a pain management doctor I would not recommend him! Horrible attitude. I also felt that the disrespect may have been because I'm a senior black female. I had an RFA procedure on my neck that became terribly infected. When I tried to be seen I was offered an appointment at the end of the following week and an opinion over the phone that it wasn't possible to be an infection, even though infection is one of the four most common issues with RFA. After further research, I discovered that for some reason, there are RFA needles on the market that are made from nickel. I contacted the NV Surgical Center to find out if they use these needles and they refused to respond, a huge warning for anyone as most medical centers are proud to show off their medical equipment. As these are the cheapest needles on the market, I imagine that is why they refuse to respond, because that means they know the danger of using them but don't care. This means they likely cut corners with other aspects of their equipment and care as well. If you have never had an infection in your spine and base of your skull, be advised that it is a miserable experience. Find a surgical center that is proud enough of their equipment that they provide access and details about what they will be putting in your body. If they refuse then think really hard about why before going there for treatment. read more

My wife and I relocated to NV. from California where I was already in pain management due to a spinal injury. Let's just say that I understand how pain management works and what is needed. In Ca. as in NV. it's not required to physically see the doctor to get your pain meds refilled so for this place to tell me that I have to been seen by the Doctor to get my meds comes down to plan old greed. I tell them that I will run out before my next appointment but all they can tell me is to call in for a cancellation and if there isn't a cancellation I guess to bad for me! That just tells me, They truly dont care about my pain or what I go thru everyday of my life! Why would they care, it's not them that are on pain! This place, there procedure, and attitude sucks!
