Had a sleep test done a month ago. Place is right by 215 and pecos. The staff I great and helpful. Booking was easy, they even text you if someone cancel! They do not allow you to bring any pillow or sheets from home. read more

Just can't recommend. This is my third time here. Today I came in early for my appointment. I stood there and was ignored by the old lady. She looked at me then returned to her reading. So I had a seat as the sign said. Another guy, younger and in better shape came in, sat right down for a second. The old lady came right to the window, looked at me then looked right at him and told him to step up to the window and she would help him. She was fawning all over him. She took him to his room right away all nice and such. She came back at me with a disgusted look (mind you we haven't spoken yet) and just said "ID and insurance". She was just borderline rude the entire time. She took me to a room I specially requested not to have when I made my appointment. My Sleep Doctor specifically stated I needed a room with the night stand on the opposite side of where this room had it because of my sleep habits. I told them this when I made the appointment. When I shared this with the old lady, just just stormed out and proceeded loudly to talk bad about me to my tech. She is just so rude. This is my third sleep study here. My second one was a failure for two reasons according to my doctor: 1) the position of my sleep due to the cables etc being on a side I couldn't roll to when I was sleeping and therefore on my back all night long. 2) they rushed through the titration and didn't obtain a good one. She said they should have taken a lot more time. So here I am again, ready for another failure. My last report took months for them to get it to my primary. I hope they don't take that long this time. Cannot recommend. read more

Unprofessional from start to finish! I arrived about 10 minutes before my scheduled sleep study. Someone in the front office told me to sit down and wait, that they would be with me shortly. Another patient came in about 5 minutes after me and sat down close by. Someone that worked there came over and just said in our general direction for our insurance card and IDs. The man took the other patients info first, and then I waited another five minutes and then they called me. They didn't collect my co-pay at this time. I was brought back by an assistant of some sort because the person that was looking after me for the sleep study was busy with another patient. She told me to sit down in the chair and fill out this paperwork, so I did. It took probably 10 minutes for the other lady to come in. She came in, told me to change and meet her back in my "Suite". I went into the bathroom, changed, came back and I had plugged in my phone to one of the outlets and sat at the end of the bed. The lady came back in and told me that "I couldn't do that!" She said it with an annoyed tone expecting me to know that it wasn't allowed to be plugged in there, but she didn't give me any other options. I also sat down at the end of the bed instead of in a chair because I've never done this before and just sat down and she almost yelled at me for sitting on the bed. She said "oh we have a long ways ahead of us, sweetie before you can sit down on the bed." She had me move down to a chair at the end of the bed. And she said it would be a long time before I can lay down again. She then measured my neck and started wiring me up. She asked if I sleep with my hair down and I said yes. But she then explained that I should wear it up, so I asked for a hair tie or rubber band and she said they don't have any of those. The lady used a whole Dixie cup of this sticky Vaseline solution (too much) in my hair to attach the wires. She got it all over even underneath where there were no wires at all. She pushed hard and told me firmly it look straight ahead and make sure my head is straight and not to move at all while she was working. I think she may have realized that she was being rude and then proceeded to ask me if I "was ok" multiple times. She then complained about my hair being down the whole 45 mins she was wiring me up, except the 5 mins she complained about my pants being too tight. And she also brings this up again as I'm laying down. "These wires will probably come undone because of where I had to put the censors because of your pants legs being too tight and you'll definitely need to be rewired when you touch your hair throughout the night. I finally laid down and got calibrated. But I was so afraid to say I was cold because she talked to me like a child for the whole hour I was getting ready for the study. I was freezing all night and slept for about 4 hours ( I normally sleep 8) like I had mentioned before I had to pay my co pay in the morning because they didn't collect it the night before and the lady that watched after me complained about the co workers for not doing their job in front of me. So I guess what I hope for the future is that they give more information prior about proper sleep wear and info about dos and don't before your sleep study so you don't get nagged by the person "taking care of you". read more

DO NOT get your study done here. The staff and technician are not empathetic nor sympathetic to medical conditions requiring special pillows and will not provide or allow you to use your own, even after receiving approval prior to the study. I had my study last night and will be amazed if they got any good data, as I was experiencing severe neck pain the entire time. And to think I paid $500 out of pocket for this....SMH. read more

I went through so much to make sure my PCP provider provided everything I needed for my insurance company to cover my daughter sleep study. They were so kind and made sure everything was received and got her an appointment right away. I wish I remembered her name but she had long black hair! but she was so kind and helped my daughter along the night. So informative. Just went in for nothing, my co-pay was $50 to rent a device I could hand bought off Amazon for $45 that would gave me the same results, but better with more info than theirs, they are charging my insurance hundreds plus a $50 copay.. they are pretty much useless and a scam, go on Amazon and buy your sleeping monitor... they only let you use the monitor for one day, till 10am or they will charge you an extra fee! What a scam! I do not recommend this place! 2 days pass by and these Guys accuse me of keeping they machine, then they call me the 3rd day and the assistant Paulet says they didn't record the 6 hours of my sleep study, saying that their machine didn't work, now they want me to drive 45min to get machine, and 45 min back to my house to re-do the test, and that they can't refund my money for wasting my gas money and time! I did the at home sleep study, as that was what my insurance would pay for. The lady at the front desk was very kind and helpful to me when I returned my equipment the next morning. I'm only giving one star because there's no ZERO. I have a puppy, so I paid $75 to have a sitter stay at my home overnight while I did my sleep study. I went to Nocturna on W Cheyenne for my 9:15 appointment and was let inside to be told "my technician called in sick." I was told I'd have to reschedule. REALLY? I've never been by treated for poorly by a supposedly "professional" organization. I asked why someone didn't call me at home to tell me and the answer I received was,"I don't know. I just found out at 8:30." I would NOT recommend them unless you like wasting your money and your time. Thanks for raising my blood pressure with your unprofessionalism! read more

Had a great clinical experience here for a sleep study. Kathy was my tech for the evening. She is an excellent communicator as she explained the procedure in layman's terms for that evenings event. I had completed the paperwork sent via mail and only had to fill out one paper on both sides when I arrived. The restrooms are extremely clean and has ADA bars for those with mobility issues. Antiseptic spray and hand soap is readily available as well. Beds are really comfortable and room temperature was not too cold for me. I was able to get a decent amount of sleep despite having all of the leads connected to my face and legs along with the straps around my waist and chest. This location has an extremely professional and cordial staff. Glad to have been referred here. Looking forward to the results of my procedure. read more

Got a referral from my doctor for a sleep study with them. Was texted by Nocturna within a few hours, requesting my insurance information so a prior authorization could be done for the study. I was told that up to two weeks is needed for the authorization. Fine, understandable. Two weeks went by and I heard nothing so I called nocturna. Their 'referral specialist' told me that they are still waiting to hear back from my insurance company. 10 days later and I still heard nothing so I called my insurance company. They told me they had never gotten anything from nocturna. I called my primary care doctor, who called Nocturna and as it turned out, Nocturna sent nothing on my behalf until my PCP had called. Therefore, not only have I been waiting for 4 weeks, but nocturna is either lying to unsuspecting patients or completely disorganized. Needless to say, I would not trust them with my care. read more

I couldn't believe how simple the entire process was. Highly recommend. Staff was both efficient and pleasant.

1. Scheduling I must say the schedule reminder was superb, they want to make sure you are going to make it on your appointment date. I got multiple reminders from email and cell phone calls. 2. Fee I have to pay $181.56 out of the pocket to have this test done even with my Blue Cross Blue Shields Insurance. They also want to make sure they will charge you $200 PER DAY if you don't return the test kit the next day. Then if the test kit is not return in the next 3 days, they will charge you $3,000. Now this is where they BAIT you, so be careful if you choose this company to do your test. I found it so greedy and disrespectful to the patients for having that stipulations written on the contract that you have to sign before they release the test kit, therefore you can't win in any angle of this argument. There is no days of allowance to give you time to return the gadget. It is a big inconvenience because they don't have a drop box to return your kit after office hours. You at the mercy of staff's convenient schedule. If you are working between 7 to 4:30, good luck! because you have to skip work to pick up or return the gadget. For me I already used almost 5 hours of my work time just to get this done + take into consideration the $181.56 co-pay. 3. Courtesy of the Caller Although they are prompt with their reminder. With several calls I received, there was one that was very unprofessional. She said: Ma'am are you sure you are the patient because your speech was unclear and husky...are you a female or male? Seriously, I had a throat health problem and my voice naturally doesn't sound well and you ask this insensitive question? That was uncalled for and unprofessional. The patients come to your center because they have sleeping problem and chances are they might have throat cancer or anything in relation to that anatomy that will affect their voice. Please have an empathy and develop sensitivity to the patients you served. This are the reasosn why I was giving the review 1 star. The unprofessionalism, discourtesy, inconvenient schedule(pick up or drop off) and the unjust hefty fee(this should be made illegal) 4. The Joint Commission On the waiver they ask you to initial, it was stated there the fee if you missed return your kit. On the bottom, they required you to do The Joint Commission evaluation of the patient experience before(not after their service) Of course, how do you know your experience if you haven't get to the point of finishing your test. It is sketchy the way they arranged it, so they can get a higher rating. This evaluation should be done after the fact you finished all the pre-requisites or after they render the FULL service. I am reporting this to The Joint Commission. To the future clients, please be watchful of the facts stated above. Demand if you must for them to be aware that they need to improve their services and attitude to be more patient-centered vs. staff-centered business model. read more

Little to No Follow-up. Noisy for 3 hours after arrival....bathrooms at least 80 feet from room while 2 rooms across from bathrooms were left open...denied elderly man being near restroom and too much talking to fall asleep. Terrible save yourself the aggravation. Read all reviews on all websites too many negatives! Cannot expect patient to go to other side of building and go back to sleep if able to sleep with all the talking.... read more

I had to take a sleep study per my ENT. He advised some of my issues could be related to poor sleep. He got me an appointment with this place. 1. I am early to almost everything. 2. Being a professional you should always be at minimum be 5-10 min early when someone has an appointment with you or your business. That being said one of my biggest quirks is that I absolutely hate being late, another is I get extremely annoyed if I'm paying someone or a business or for a service, and they waste my time by being late. I arrived for my sleep study an hour prior to my appointment time. It should be noted they asked I be 15 min early. I arrive and no one, again I say NO ONE is in the parking lot and the business is locked. No problem. I'm a freak who is unreasonably early. 10 Montgomery by, 20, then 30 and no one else is there. I'm rechecking if I'm in the right spot, if I'm here on the wrong day, thinking I must have made a mistake. Ok 40 minutes later another customer pulls in. They do what I did and pull the door handle.... yup locked still. Another 3 min goes by and the 1st employee arrives. Cool he walks in a different door and comes to the front door approximately 4 minutes later. At this time the 3rd customer arrives in parking lot. All the while I have no idea how this works, but I was told to be 15 min early for paperwork and crap and now I'm under the 15 minute early time and I have become Annoyed! Do not tell me to be early by a certain amount of time to complete paper work and then you (the business be late). Another 4th customer arrives and we all sit in the lobby/entrance/hallway sitting area. Another two employees arrive and people start getting called. I'm over here thinking hmmm must not be first come First serve. These rooms must be assigned by some sort of needs or something. So after a few minutes my appoint time has come and gone. Still 4 customers to 3 employees and I'm the last one in lobby area. I'm thinking I must be the one who is messed up. Oh wait 12 minutes late another employee arrives. MEANWHILE the other 3 employees talking crap on the dude who isn't here for being chronically late! Well late employee is my "tech". So when my "tech" arrives he takes my paperwork, and brings me up to a window to pay my portion. I thought this thing was co weed under my insurance...... nah.... idk if this is part my doctor who told me to come here, the office of my doc, my bad for not looking, or if sleep study's just are not covered. No idea but my payment was in the 300 + range. I went from annoyed to angry, I was not expecting that much. I figured I would pay maybe 25-50. Way off! I'm finally taken to my room. The room is nice, looks like a small hotel room. Equipped with a TV, and side tables. There is some random decor on the walls, it looks ok. My room has no windows. That for some reason gives me a weird vibe. Like no means of secondary egress in case of fire or emergency. Oh and if you need a bathroom it's not in your own room, you need to exit your room, walk down the hall to use restroom. My "tech" gets me hooked up to the seems like 100 different lines and monitors. That takes a while. Finally I go to lay down. I sit on the bed, it's soft, too soft for my liking. My normal bed is a Purple, which is comfortable but does not cave under my weight. When I woke up my back was sore and stiff. I get the same in hotels, except ones I have been in with sleep number beds. I get to bed, sleep my normal 6ish hours and wake up prior to the tech coming in to tell me the test is over. I like the facility and I'm sure there is employees there that are better, but my experience and my luck I got the dude who I did not mesh with. He was late, and then was rushed getting me hooked up and set for my test. Hopefully I'm not gonna need another one. read more

No one from the center has reached out, my boyfriend and his referring doctor have each left over 10+ messages that never get returned and a receptionist never answers. I had my sleep study last night. The facility is very clean. Rooms had a queen size bed,TV, which I did not watch, and a night stand for you to put your things on. I ask for extra blanket since it was cold, and they got for me immediately. The procedure to put on the wires took about a half an hour and is very cumbersome but if you lay down on your back and don't move too much it is tolerable. There is a call button on your bed stand if you need the technician to use the restroom. I rang it once and they came in right away for me. You are woken up about 5:15 for them to take all the wires off and then you sent home. The only negative was that the bathroom is quite far from the rooms where you sleep. My technician April was fabulous patient kind and really took care of me. Of course I walked in with a box of donuts so I'm not sure if that helped, couldn't hurt. Your hair is really really sticky when you get home so it took me two shampoos to get everything out of my hair and there was still some pads stuck in there so check your hair before you shampoo. read more

Normally I can schedule appointments on line, which you can do if the information is there. It wasn't so I had to call I have tried the call center for 3 days now with no results. Always #1 in line but then they switch to leave a message and they will get back to you in 24 hours. Don't believe that as the second call has been 27 hrs. I don't have time to sit by the phone for 24 hrs waiting for them to call. If I don't answer they will tell me to call them. Here we go again. Back to the call center which I believe there is no-one there. Need to ask my doctor if there is another company that can do test. This is almost as bad as the doctor office tells you to be there 15 minutes early, we arrived at 12:45. Out to lunch till 1. What is this world coming to. I spent the night at Nocturna sleep Center on S Pecos road to be fitted for a cpac machine. Brittany and the staff were extremely helpful and gracious with their support. I haven't slept well in a long time and the problem has had a negative impact on my 30+ years or marriage. A male technician (can't remember his name) was very good at explaining process, and monitored my sleep all night using a cpac. He is a huge asset to that company. I had the best night sleep in the last 10 years I can remember and so hopeful I will get help going forward thanks to Dr Erum at Total Family care and the Team at Nocturna. Don't waste your time in trying to get in touch with anyone at Nocturna for a sleep study. They are so understaffed it is ridiculous. Only one person to answer phones and set appointments. It doesn't matter which selection you choose at beginning of call you can't get through to an actual person. Save yourself the time and frustration and ask your Doctor to refer you to a business that actually cares about people because Nocturna is not a business that cares about people, in fact I don't think they care about anything. read more

I had a sleep study last night at the Nocturna location on Rainbow Bl in Las Vegas NV. This was the 4th study I have experienced over the last several years. My first two were performed at an upscale location in Santa Monica, California and I had a very positive interaction with the personal there. My third study was in Henderson NV and it was also a positive experience. However, I must say, the sleep study I had last night was one of the best I have had. My first contact was when someone called me from Nocturna to schedule the appointment for my all night stay needed to perform a sleep study. She was very warm, friendly, knowledgeable, and professional. Therefore, my first contact with this business was very good. Also, every contact was good and I felt very confident I would be taken care of properly during the sleep study. I arrived promptly at 8:00 PM as instructed and someone (Trisha) greeted me at the front door. I was pleasantly surprised when Trisha led me to the room where I would be sleeping overnight for the study. It was beautifully decorated (kind of resembled a guest room) with a new comfortable platform bed (plenty of pillows) and a television. The bedroom and bathroom were very clean and appeared to be a new facility. I slept comfortably all night and was awakened in the morning very early but I felt great and well rested (much better than I feel at home)! Thanks to Nocturna (and Trisha) I now have the proper settings for my BiPap machine so can look forward to getting some restful sleep at home.......finally! :) I highly recommend this facility to anyone in need of a sleep study. I completed a sleep study here a week ago on 06/16/17. I was actually impressed with my experience. As with any medical "procedure" i had to schedule out about a week or two. Once I was on the calendar, the email communication from Brittanny was excellent, with reminders and instructions. The night of my study, I was helped by a young man, I think his name was Diego? The room was very much set up like a guest room at a friends house with a rocker, TV, pillows, nightstand, etc. It was comfortable. Anyways, the guy that was helping me was very patient, informative, and seemed to be experienced at his job. Everything he said he was going to do, did happen, and overall the experience was positive. The results were sent to my doctor in a timely manner, which I also appreciate (I have had to chase down paperwork in the past from other medical providers). I will recommend Nocturna to anyone I know who is in need of a sleep study. Thanks guys! read more

I tried to set up an appointment to get a sleep study done here at the recommendation of my primary care physician. I have to say that my impression of this place is that it's very unprofessional. I dealt with someone there named Brittany. In trying to set up an appointment on a couple of occasions she has stated that she needed to get verification from my insurance company regarding my coverage. That made sense I thought. What didn't make sense is that on one occasion she took WEEKS to get back to me which is completely unacceptable. Then something happened which required a reschedule which restarted the whole process. This time I assume that Brittany is never going to call me back as it's going on two months since I last heard from her. At this point I've made arrangements at a different sleep center. I guess that Nocturna is doing so well that they didn't need my business. Fair enough. I'll just say for whoever is in charge there at Nocturna, if Brittany still works there she's making your business look very unreliable and incompetent. read more
