We reached out after our downstairs window had a large crack and needed to be replaced. After 3 attempts, we still don't have an acceptable replacement. The first glass replacement had a large scratch, the second a small chip and the third small scratch/chip. All I continued to hear is "industry Standard" says if you can't see from 10 feet away, it's acceptable. Well each issue can be seen from 10 feet away. They even had a rep for their local distributor, Sierra Glass, come and confirm it was an acceptable replacement on the third attempt. I was assured the last attempt they checked thoroughly at the shop and saw no issues. So it's either a transport or install issue nobody wanted to admit to. One of the installers even called the office and I overheard with an attitude 'she's checking it with a fine tooth comb". You bet I am when I'm paying over $600 for a piece of glass. In the end, I took a small discount to keep the 3rd attempt because it was the best out of the 3 and had no idea what the next was going to look like. Hopefully there will be no issues. read more

On May 2nd of last year we placed an order for windows. These windows where for an an elderly lady who saved up each month to have her windows replaced. We paid upfront the $3,946 for the windows. We were told they would be in numerous times and they never came. We had several phone conversations and finally where told on a Monday that they would be in that we.We showed up on Wednesday as agreed only to be met with a permanently closed sign. We have made several attempts to reach this company without success. This is absolutely unacceptable to do this to anyone especially to an elderly lady on fixed income. They took my deposit, said 2-3 weeks for delivery and then closed the business, did not contact me and kept my money

In April, I put down a deposit of $1,000 for 3 replacement windows. I have tried unsuccessfully to contact them (phone, email) and have read in Yelp that the company went out of business in June but they never contacted people and took money for windows as late as June 10. It's a civil, not a criminal matter I've been told, (although it is stealing). So your only recourse is to go to small claims court. I had Nevada Quality Windows do a retrofit on many windows in my home; about 30 windows in total. The Amsco retrofit windows are a nice product and I would recommend them. I would not however recommend that you have this company install them. The craftsmanship was extremely poor, with disjointed trim pieces and sloppy caulking causing me headaches. The windows are also drafty due to the poor quality of the installation. I basically have to re-install the windows myself. If you are considering this company, I would have them only install a few windows so you can see for yourself. I should have been more diligent in monitoring the quality of the work, but I put my trust in Pat and his company to deliver a quality product. read more

Nevada Quality Windows designed, built, and installed a very large custom window for the front of a 1920s home I own. It is beautiful! They did an exceptional job and I am now working with them to replace many of the other windows. Pat came out to measure the windows and showed up on time and is extremely professional / friendly. They provided a quote within a couple of days, and when I needed to tweak a few things, Craig turned around a new quote the same day. When I confirmed I wanted to move forward, they sent someone out to final measure, and accept my deposit. I scheduled an appointment with this company to have a few glasses replaced in a pair of windows. They came to do an estimate and collect their deposit very fast, and then slacked on getting back to me with the final price and dates. I eventually called them, and got on their schedule. Despite us being in phone and email contact they took my phone number down incorrectly and when the installer showed up to the job they weren't able to reach me by phone so they left, even though I was on the site. I received an email on my cel phone from Craig, the secretary, and he informed me of what had happened while being incredibly rude, including making fun my southern accent. He said he would not finish the job or refund me my money, so I threatened to dispute the charges with my CC company. Later that day he reached back out to me and got me back on the schedule with no apology. After the installer finally got their the job was finished in a timely and high quality manner. The gentleman who did the estimate was very polite and professional, and so was the installer. Overall I wouldn't do business with them again based on their lack of organization and outright disrespect at the office/secretary level. Great customer service. I called for an estimate for a broken window. They sent someone promptly when I was available. I called back to have the window replaced and had to pay 50% for the order of the window. They explained that once the window was recieved they would call for an appointment to install. Both times the workers arrived early, wearing masks. The replacement took about 20 minutes. If I need any future window repair I will most definitely be contacting them. We have had our windows for a few months now and they have been a significant improvement to our home. As promised, the windows we chose have already begun yielding savings in our heating bill. The quality of the workmanship shows as we have had several storms now and not a single problem with leaks, air gaps, or sliding issues. This is the best company of any kind in the Reno area. Pat took time out of his busy schedule to come and look at my window. A home inspector wrote on his inspection report that the window was not suitable in a shower because water was leaking down the outside of the wall from the weep holes. This only happens when the shower head is directed at the window. The buyers wanted us to replace the window because of this report. Pat came over the same day I called him to check it out and explain to us the window was doing it's job and nothing was wrong with it. I CAN NOT SAY ENOUGH OF HOW BAD THIS COMPANY IS TO DEAL WITH.I PAID 432.08 TO HAVE A WINDOW INSTALLED,which was installed horridly they came&destroyed my original window to remove it& there are shards of broken glass in front of my home still which is the least of my complaints .The installation was a joke three guys came and in 45 minutes they glued the window on top of my old frame and put 2 screws in the end to keep it from falling out,the window was not installed it is hanging on the wall sticking out 3/4 of an inch ,I could push on it and it very likely will fall for the most part except for 2 screws!!!!!!!
