Chad and Chris were fantastic, and we highly recommend Beautiful Homes Nevada. We've had some bad leaking going on around a few specific windows with these winter storms up in Tahoe, and called Beautiful Homes Nevada as they installed the windows a couple years prior. Almost all of the windows were fine, but we had 3 windows in one portion of the house that were leaking. BHN understood the urgency, and offered to come out right away before the next storms come through. Once they arrived we investigated the source, and it became clear that the issue was not with the windows themselves, and the water was instead entering through a gap between the roof and the wall boards well above the windows - having nothing to do with the previous work BHN had done. Once the water got in, the flow was directing the water out via the windows, one of which is almost 2 full stories below the water's entry point (photo of the gap attached - big enough to fit your hand in!). As it turns out, the new windows were working exactly as expected, and the sealing around the windows themselves was totally fine. Credit to the solid initial installation BHN did. While this wasn't an issue Beautiful Homes Nevada created, they were fantastic about addressing the problem quickly to ensure we don't have any leaks going forward. They were clear and forthcoming, demonstrating accountability and commitment to taking care of us, rather than passing the buck (which they easily could have done) considering it wasn't their doing. Luckily it was a relatively straightforward fix, and they had everything sealed up for us in no time. We had Chad come out to our new home after the inspection report said there was water damage on the exterior. Chad singled out a small portion of siding that needed replaced. He was scattered every time I spoke with him on the phone. The job was scheduled three different times before the workers finally came which messed up our exterior painter's schedule. The job Beautiful Homes did for us wasn't great. After Chad agreed to fix issues after the job was completed only 1/2 were fixed. We were done messing around with the company. Our painter found MULTIPLE areas of siding that needed replaced that Chad should have easily seen since this is his specialty. Chad didn't do what we asked him to do and in the end wanted to put the blame on us. Don't bother contacting this company. You'll end up fixing it on your own or paying another company to come finish the job. In response to your reply: I was your customer. This is the truth. You said you missed some areas on our final walk through when I pointed them out but at that point we were done working with you, we were not impressed with the workmanship that already needed to be fixed. Later as the painter went around to paint our exterior he found water damage siding that you missed. The point of having you come was to find and fix all the water damaged siding which is your specialty. We wanted the repairs done before before we painted and added gutters. I never said the painter repaired your mistakes. If a painter can see wood rot/ soft boards and that isn't his specialty then that makes you look even worse. You told me that the painter could fix your terrible caulking job. Like I said, DON'T BOTHER. A company willing to let another company fix the left over mess is the WRONG COMPANY. Response: It is very unprofessional to post our address. You have the address incorrect which proves my scatter point perfectly. You are still missing the point. I asked you to inspect and fix the water damaged siding. I hired you to look over all the home. You let someone else tell you where the issues were rather than being a professional and doing your own examination. An inspector points to issues and recommends hiring a professional to come look at the home in more detail. That is why we hired you and why we are disappointed. During the walk through of the initial work I pointed out several poor craftsmanship issues. The caulking was terrible aside from the craftsmanship issues. You promised to fix more than you actually did. You never checked back in after "correcting" the mistakes. Not all of them were corrected that you agreed to. That tells me we weren't worth your time. This post is to show you aren't a 5 star business. I hired you because we wanted a 5 star professional to do the work. Your foreman agreed the work that was done was lacking. That is why we received a discount. You're the boss so this is on you. You didn't like me saying it in person and you could have fixed it with me in person and you didn't. BHN was Johnny on the spot to install new windows on our house. What they failed to tell us is that by owning "top of the line windows" we may lose our view due to condensation. We never would have had our regular double pane (came with Caughlin Ranch home) removed and replaced with top of the line. He blamed Anlin. My friends say he should have taken responsibility. We should have been told about condensation issues The windows that don't fog are nice. I saw one window that was ordered and couldn't be replaced and it sat in our living room for a year. I had the window washer put it in the garbage yesterday. Never heard from you again. Every time we didn't hear from you, you were so busy So if you ordered all new windows for us, this IS the first I heard of that. You wanted to try one. My point, you should educate your staff who is selling because I would not somebody else to buy windows that fog We still have your infrared tool too Your staff does good work and you are a likable guy. My husband and I are first-time home owners and we recently had 7 Amerimax windows installed and we could not be happier with the result. Chad's crew was polite, efficient, and did a great job of cleaning up after themselves. I was expecting an 8 hour job, but they completed it in less than half that time. While our home was built in 1946, the additions were added in the 70's and the wooden window frames with the single panes were making us miserable. The quality of workmanship is superior to anything we could've hoped for. Also, this was a huge investment for us, and Chad went above and beyond to make sure we were informed so there was no confusion and we felt comfortable at each step. We look forward to working with them again next year. PS: We had the solar fan installed and immediately noticed a difference in the heat of the day. We don't have air conditioning and have been living with an average of 80 degrees inside. Since the fan was installed, we haven't seen the thermostat go above 75 degrees. read more

A major problem I'm having is arising from the very atrocious, to say the least, communication \ customer service from BHN. I feel that I can't trust that I'm told all the information that I should have in a timely manner. I do not recommend BHN. April 9, 2021 we signed a contract that our windows would be installed in approximately 11 weeks. Verbally, Chad told us they'd be done by July 4 as we had an event at the house the following week and needed the work done prior. June 28th I contacted Chad to ask what was going on with the installation, Over the course of the next few days Chad said the windows wouldn't be in until July 12 and he could start installation then. For various reasons I asked for a refund. His lawyer told us the contract we'd signed didn't allow for a refund and if we canceled we'd lose our deposit. I told him we were not canceling but his client was not fulling his part of the contract in a timely manner. Eventually we decided we were tired of fighting. July 29, 2021 The final offer we received from his lawyer also told us that the windows are ready but the screens are on back ordered with no estimate on when they will be ready. I then asked how we can schedule an installation when they don't have a usable product for me. That was on August 9, 2021. There has been no reply. Today is September 7, 2021. I know there have been lots of problems in supply these days. I probably would have accepted the delays but not being told until it was almost time to install is not acceptable and even then I had to initiated the contact. Being told the windows are finally in but having no timeline for the screens, I feel is ridiculous. I wouldn't trade in an old working car for a new one that didn't have tires and they couldn't tell me they'd get them. Neither is a usable product. After going through a lot of back and forth with his lawyer to find out that about a month after Chad said they'd be able to install the windows, they can't give me a usable product, is ridiculous. read more

I had 13 windows installed early November, I don't know what to say other than I could not be more happy with the whole process from being introduced to the product to the very last scoop of debris that was cleaned up. Chad and his team (Ahko for installation) were fantastic. We had a few minor glitches that were taken care of quickly and easily. I had 6 windows and the patio door replaced, with no problems. The minor glitch came when a new window was being cut-out. Due to the strange design of my house, the support beam was horizontal instead of vertical (don's ask me why). We had to re-order a slightly smaller window to fit the new cut-out area. Chad took care of everything, and it was only a week of delay. Most importantly, the installation team was trustworthy, and took great care of my cat while I was out for the day. I don't hesitate to recommend these guys! PS - the price was great too! We replaced all 8 windows in our home. We got three bids. They were not the lowest or the highest price but I think they were a fair price. They do have a long lead time but Chad explained that up front. We had to change the install date by just a few days but Chad called and let us know as soon as he could. Dave and Dave showed up on time on the new date and completed the job that same day. The new windows fit perfect. You would be hard pressed to tell that they were replacement widows and frames. Just had BHN install our 11 windows and patio door this weekend and Ako and his crew were exceptional but moreover would comment on the sales process with BHN which was our last and 4th quote after a dissapointing first 3 quotes. 1st one gave us a 'if we sign today price' no thanks next 2nd quote was rediculously high priced and our favorite was the 3rd which took 2 days to get back to us to set apt. Then was 20 minutes late and solicited us for a 5 star review in exchange for a discount and some labor warranty waiver and just seemed very desperate. Then BHN on time, prepared, no pressure or desperation and a very competitive in line price and delivered everything they said.nvery happy with our windows and really the whole process.
