Nvision glass came and took 5 screen doors (for Windsor glass doors) from our house and completely refurbished them and then returned to install them. They also provided new pads that keep the screens from rattling in the wind! Seth provided great customer support and communication by phone and Tim who took/delivered the doors provided excellent hands-on service at our house. We broke the glass in a in a wood, single hung window while preparing it to be painted, we called around to several window repair businesses, but most couldn't help us for a least a week. Then we called Seth @ Nvision Glass, he stated, "that if we gave him the glass measurements, he could have the glass cut and ready for us in a couple hours". Brought my screen from kitchen slider door to be repaired at the Minden location. Asked if they could also add a dog protector to it so it wouldn't rip again. They said no problem. Months later no screen door. I keep calling and they keep saying it'll be ready tomorrow, or it'll be ready Friday. It's mid October no screen and now it's practically winter. I hope to get my door back. I would NOT recommend. The day after I posted this review I received a call about my screen door. It was brought over to my house and installed at no charge. It seems my paperwork was lost in the shuffle so they tried to make it right. I appreciate having my door repaired and back at my house read more

Update on prior review. Since my review was posted I have been contacted by both a staff member and owner of nvision Glass to explain the unfortunate misconnect in our communications. My gripes with how some of the Andersen Windows don't perform as expected in my initial review are still valid. I have never received any response from Andersen directly. But nvision Glass did respond very quickly [thanks Scott] and soon the windows needing repair were getting the attention I wanted. As of today, all repairs/replacements have been completed and I want to thank Kevin and his crew for working on this and keeping me informed. Part of the problem at the beginning might have been communication related between myself, my builder and nvision, because I'm still not sure how my concerns were being rec'd or relayed to nvision. In the future I'll deal with nvision directly. I will recommend nvision Glass to anyone in the future, no matter whose windows they are installing. William read more

Update on my prior 5-star review on the windows we had installed in May. When we had the wind and rain a month ago, I suddenly had a puddle of water on a windowsill. I called NVision, and I swear they had a guy out to my house within a half hour. He didn't think the window was leaking because the drywall above the window was soaked. However, he came back the next day and re-caulked all around the windows on the second floor just be sure. And his boss called while he was here just to be sure it was being taken care of to my satisfaction. A couple days later a roofing guy confirmed it was a roofing problem. The NVision people were sure it was, too, but they still came out promptly to be sure they were doing all they could to be sure it wasn't the windows. The painters and roofers I've had working here since May have told me they can see how well the windows were installed. That means something to me. read more

Other than Kristen who was responsive and helpful, the sales and operations team are difficult to reach, do not work well on email - only phone, and do not really seem too interested in helping residential customers. I would grade them a zero on customer service (except for Kristen at front desk - she deserves a medal for trying to work with her colleagues and getting them to respond) Perhaps they were a mis-match for me as an individual and are better suited to contractors. Avoid. If you are a homeowner expect they will do minimum necessary to get paid. If they make mistakes, they will fight you. Their order forms are very difficult to understand, I think this by design to keep customers confused. They will not break out labor / material costs - even if you ask. Their sales strategy is most comparable to that of used car sales where they intentionally misinform so you don't get what you wanted but what they want to sell you. They don't even know their products very well. Often they only know what they're selling you from the same website you can access. Be very careful with measurements, keep your own notes. They measured for doors 5 times and still got the order wrong. The install crews are sloppy. They make no effort to clean up after themselves, expect debris strewn about outside any window/door. They will use their fingers to finish caulk on trim, and there really is nothing you can do. You can try to talk to them and make clear your expectations, but they don't care, it's not their house and they will only do minimum necessary to call the job done - in their opinion at least. If you are a contractor sending them a large amount of work and money, then maybe you'll be treated with respect. If you're a homeowner I suggest you deal with NVision through a general contractor you trust to protect you from their practices. read more

I had researched replacement parts and got so frustrated until I found vision glass, a supplier to Alpine windows. I called and got Robert who was extremely helpful in getting me the parts I needed. When I went to pick them up, I met Robert and one other person who were quick and efficient in getting me the parts. More importantly they were exactly what I needed!! During a round of Golf I broke a window in a nearby home. I called NVision and they took care of the window quickly, professionally, and at a reasonable price. I would hihgly reccomend this company for anyone looking for home or commercial windows. Only negative is that they do not do autos. read more

Had them remove and replace for new exterior storm doors. They had a good discount price for the product based on shopping around. It turned out well probably because I scrutinized every detail and left nothing to chance. Fortunately they responded well. They had a good lead carpenter, a courteous helpful project manager work on the job and they helped solve some problems that resulted from the new doors being smaller than the doors that were replaced creating what needed to be a slightly smaller opening. They also came back to help weather strip to avoid wind leakage. They even installed the new trim for the smaller door opening. They do not do stucco, or painting so be prepared to figure that out if you are doing a similar project. read more

Wow, I am shocked to see the negative reviews here, although most are older and appears prior to new ownership. Nvision glass is awesome! I have used them twice now, once for new construction in which they supplied/installed all the glass, sliding doors, etc. The second time just now, in which they reglazed the windows, fixed the old window hardware and built/installed a giant custom mirror for my home gym. I tried other companies years ago and couldn't even get anyone out to fix my old windows. Nvision has been super responsive, great prices and their installers totally went the extra mile to make sure I was satisfied with both projects. Thanks guys! read more

Nvision Glass installed windows for our kitchen remodel in 2016. One of the screens was damaged and they replaced it no questions asked. We have since had them come back twice in 2018 and 2019 to finish our other windows throughout the house. We love the windows and they were installed quickly and they look beautiful! We had Nvision install new windows for the whole condo in the South Lake Tahoe area. Those guys can't do one thing right. They measured the windows wrong, not once but twice which delayed the project by two months. The windows themselves are fine, Anderson, but the install was not professional. They stripped the exterior siding but didn't fix it, and many other things. But worst of all, what do you think a window installer with his hands full of silicone does? He wipes them on the center of the glass! Just thinking about it amazes me. They wouldn't clean up of course saying they are not windows cleaners. We had to pay someone to clean all the windows and he had to spend a lot of time removing the dried silicone off the glass. Don't know how they are still in business. read more

Nvision glass is great! I needed a very complicated back door handle fixed. After multiple unsuccessful attempts to get this fixed, I called Robert at Nvision glass. He was very prompt and super helpful. He figured out what would be the right fix for my door immediately! After several weeks of dealing with this headache, I was relieved to have found a solution.
