I told him absolutely not. I feel I was sexually harassed by several of his employees. I'm reporting him to the contractor board. I left a review on Angi and now here. I'm going after his license. There are things also missing from my house. If you hire this company you'll regret it 100%. H&s is a joke and he doesn't back his work.

Our experience was far from the peace of mind promised by the company's slogan, and the consequences of the oversights during our inspection have been costly, frustrating, and stressful. 1. Incomplete Attic Inspection Mr. Neumark failed to inspect the attic entirely because the entrance was located above the washer and dryer in the laundry room. Although the current homeowners gave full consent to move the units--an easy task requiring no more than shifting them five inches--Mr. Neumark refused. Our realtor ultimately moved them without issue, but only after we insisted that the attic be inspected. Even then, the inspector was visibly annoyed that we requested he complete the job. 2. Rodent Infestation Overlooked Despite noting droppings in the garage, Mr. Neumark inaccurately concluded they were old and that there was no active infestation. Within 24 hours of moving in, we discovered a live family of mice in the garage. Additionally, there were mouse droppings in the attic--completely omitted from his report--confirming an active and ongoing rodent problem that should not have been missed. 3. Bathtub Leak Ignored The secondary bathroom's bathtub leaked significantly the first time we used it, causing water damage to the floor. The inspector claimed he could not properly assess it for fear of damaging the facade. However, upon closer inspection, we found it was secured by only six easily removable screws. It took us less than a minute to confirm the leak ourselves. This lack of effort was inexcusable. 4. Structural Oversight A large, gaping hole--about the size of a football--was left unnoticed under the eaves near the back patio door. Nesting birds, feathers, and debris made it clear this had been an ongoing issue, yet it was not mentioned in the report. This type of structural vulnerability should have been immediately flagged by any qualified inspector. 5. Incorrect and Costly Radon Advice We were incorrectly advised that installing a vapor barrier in our crawl space would resolve elevated radon levels. Based on this recommendation, we paid $1,200 to a local pest control company--only to find out it did nothing to fix the issue. A professional radon specialist later explained that proper ventilation is required, which cost us nearly $5,000. This misinformation was both costly and dangerous. Conclusion The inspection felt rushed and careless. Critical issues that any competent home inspector should have identified were either ignored or misdiagnosed. The inspector appeared more interested in finishing quickly than in ensuring our home was safe and sound. We strongly caution others against using TEK Inspections. The inspection included IR inspection of appliances, drone inspection of the roof (since developer denied physical access), and physical inspection of crawl and attic spaces. Ty's report was available in less than 24 hours. The report included photos of every nook and cranny inspected, indications of proper and deficient findings, as well recommendations for deficient findings. Recommended.

He drained the water heater and swept the standing water out of my garage to create a safe surface to walk on. This was very important, bc I'd just had a total hip replacement and was cautioned to avoid slippery surfaces. I'm happy to report Gabe and Roman installed a new water heater that passed City of Reno permit inspection in less time than it would've taken the other guys just come out to inspect the old one. To make matters worse, they spilled what looked like close to two quarts of oil all over the dirt on the property and made no effort to properly clean it up or take responsibility, instead they tried to conceal it by kicking dirt on it and then left it. That's not tacky its highly inappropriate. Communication was just as bad. We had to chase them down for days to get the report, after clearly written instructions to the company. After raising these concerns, the company promised a follow-up call to take care of things that never happened. Completely blew us off. Then the invoice showed up hundreds higher than expected, pushing close to $1,000, including nearly $400 just for the inspection. For the level of service provided, that pricing is hard to justify. After 21+ years in this business across two states, this is easily one of the worst vendor experiences I've dealt with. Poor execution, poor communication, and zero accountability. Hired for a septic inspection after entering escrow to sell our home. The inspection came back…read morestating the leach pipe was saturated, so the company recommended a recheck/remediation attempt the following week. The younger tech, Lucas I believe, was polite and professional. However, we were told by another technician (older gentleman) that if the leach pipe was saturated and could not be fixed that we would need an entirely new septic system, but we were NEVER told this company does not actually replace septic systems themselves. I assumed they handled full replacements, so we agreed to let them attempt remediation. Three days and $3,000 later, including about $2,500 just for excavation, we were told the issue could not be fixed and we would need a full septic replacement through a completely different company. Had we been told upfront that they do not perform full replacements, we would never have approved the excavation or remediation attempt because now we have to pay another company to excavate all over again. During the "remediation," they also replaced two pipes that did not even need to be replaced since the entire septic system now has to be replaced anyway. It felt like unnecessary work added onto the bill. The yard was also left looking terrible with dirt piles, patches everywhere. Two other septic companies came out afterward and one specifically commented that if their crew left a lawn looking like that, they would "rip them a new one." After paying $3,000 for essentially no resolution, my husband called asking for the yard to at least be cleaned up properly. The older technician told him he would call the following week to schedule a day to come out. Instead, he showed up unannounced on a random day and immediately started digging in the front yard. When I opened the door and politely asked what he was doing and informed him another septic company was on the way, his response was simply, "yeah, so?" Extremely rude and unprofessional after everything that had already happened. At the end of this, we are now paying an additional $15,000 for a full septic replacement on top of the $3,000 already paid to this company, including duplicate excavation costs that could have been avoided with honest communication from the beginning. I'm sure they may be fine for a basic inspection, but I would not trust this company with costly repairs or major septic work.
