My friends and I were heading to a store, but were not in any particular rush- and what a good thing that turned out to be, because we were all sucked into this boutique as soon as we saw it. Do you know the feeling when you walk into a boutique, and there are no other customers there, and you feel that awkward tension- almost like you're interrupting the salesperson's day and should just leave? Well, you won't get that here. We were encouraged to look around, smell the candles, try on the sunglasses, rummage through the ring boxes- whatever we wanted to check out. We ended up grabbing a couple of delicious smelling candles and a pair of earrings. If I'm nearby, I'll definitely stop in again- it's definitely one of those stores with nothing you need and a ton of everything you want to make your life look pretty! read more

On an evening escape at the first Friday, and while wandering and casually browsing all of the art works, local Philadelphian artists have to offer, I discovered Never Too Spoiled, that when it was located on 2nd street. I totally fell for its charms. The new location is still fabulous, just larger space to hold the same super cool finds! Never Too Spoiled is a hip boutique and may seems like another store in old city just selling fun crafts, but when you step inside? WHOA! Way far from ordinary, this one remarkably stand out!! This very creative boutique, is beautifully organized with huge selection of interesting and lovely accessories and jewelry, colorful and fun artwork, and more of those little things that you could not pass up. I love this shop for unique gifts! Today I attended a Holiday tea/open house. It was lovely! There was a harp player who played the most beautiful music! The sugar plum fairy also attended :) there was hot chocolate, cookies and mini scones. We made gingerbread houses and snow ornaments that were so cute. It was a fun way to spend an afternoon! Really love how unique this store is. Women who work here was real friendly and super sweet. Bright vibrate colors really drawl you in. Great place for gifts and stuff for yourself and rooms, they have a lot of stuff here that are real "pick me ups" cute stuff with inspiring words on it. Wow, wow, wow! Gave colleague a $100 gift certificate to this shop (which I thought had really cute things). Gift certificate says "no expiration" - Covid hits. Colleague cannot go out. Shops are closed. Now that things are opening up in Philly, my colleague tries to use the certificate. She's more or less told by email "sorry, we've closed the shop and are moving to online. The certificate is now invalid." Amusingly, my colleague was told that she should have been following this company's social media to know that they were closing. Wow. Buyer beware. Owner does not honor her own contracts (which seems to be a pattern based on other reviews here). Stay away folks, online or offline. Never Too Spoiled is actually a bit of a brat. read more

This manager is verbally abusive to her customers. Today I went in to ask if I could exchange or return a dress that was a birthday gift and was too big. I walked up to the cash register to ask and the manager was extremely rude. I did not have a paper receipt with me because my fiance paid through venmo. She told me to call my fiance and ask how much he spent and I told her that he bought three items and what the total was and she proceeded to roll her eyes and raise her voice and say "that doesn't help I need the exact price of the dress.." and I said "okay I will.. (--cuts me off)".. And then she threw the dress at my face and said "I don't need to help you, you're rude, all sales final." and proceeded to stomp away to the back and yell "these fucking people." I understand there is a pandemic (mind you she was not wearing a mask and yelling at me in a small boutique store..) and that businesses are closing and under awful stress which is why I simply stated "that was very unprofessional" and just left the dress for her without say anything else. When I told my fiance what happened he wanted to try to go back to see if he could have a rational conversation after she had cooled down and get his money back for the purchase in its entirety. No luck. She screamed at him immediately and told him he needs to get a new fiance, that he was a punk, and that assholes like him are why she is going out of business. She also tried to lie and say that I was the one that threw the dress at her face. He barely said five words to her before she exploded and then she started yelling that she was going to call the cops on him. This is a very unstable person. I caution you to avoid this store unless you want to be verbally abused. I hope this store closes quickly to avoid others getting screamed at for no reason. read more

I LOVE this store!! It is definitely my favorite place to shop!! The store is very Boho Chic and give off a great energy once you walk in. The clothing selection is carefully selected and amazing; I always get complimented on whenever I wear something I bought here. They also have cute and chic jewelry, accessories and gifts. The owner is super sweet, very genuine and welcoming. Whoever is working is always really sweet and helpful. I have gotten some really great pieces here and have to not go in too often or I would go broke. haha Besides having fabulous merchandise, they also offer fun and unique classes. The outside of this boutique just draws you in and you'll be glad you entered this store. The mixture of items and clothing is quite a lot to take in. Their so unique. It reminds me of one of those hippie stores , for you see merchandise in Never Too Spoiled that you wouldn't see in other stores. The selection is great and the prices are very reasonable. What I really liked, was that the sales person doesn't follow you around or ignore you. They are just very helpful. Interesting place. It takes me a second or two to absorb all that's being displayed every time I go in as it is very busy in there... The quality of the clothes is not their strength, but I'd say an eclectic selection of boho clothing and very inexpensive jeweler items. It's about the owners, and the employees, the vibe as well as the products. Never Too Spoiled is just whimsical and fun. I've bought jumpsuits, bralettes, cute dresses and skirts, all with a bohemian flair. The employees are always enthusiastic and helpful. And if you haven't seen their workshop schedule, you must! The most magical store in Philadelphia This is hands down my favorite store in Philadelphia. Every time I walk by, it puts a smile on my face and pulls me in. From the whimsical displays outside to the dreamcatchers hanging from the ceiling, you can't help but want to see what else is inside. The store is incredible! I love love love the clothes! They only have a 4-6 pieces of a clothing, so you always know that it's unique and no one else will have it. Every time I wear something from Never Too Spoiled I get a ton of compliments! They hand pick out their clothes and jewelry and you can tell how much thought goes into quality, look, and feel. Literally the comfiest sweaters I have ever gotten! My only warning is be ready to fall in love with everything in the store! This store is seriously my happy place! They even have fun creative workshops in the back every so often. I have made a holiday wreath, arm knitted a scarf, planted succulents in a cute giraffe ceramic figure, and more! Purchased a ring from them. It got broken one day after I purchased. 5 days later I was able to stop by to tell them what happened to the ring. Paid $38 for that junk. They were rude and unprofessional. When I realized their 'level', I just asked her to give me the ring back and left the store. Bought it to support local business but never again!!!! I came here today when I was in Olde City after seeing it advertised on facebook, now let me start with I shop with the "boutiques" in the mall because its the only option I have but Never too Spoiled blew them out of the water. The staff was friendly and attentive and really cared about what I was saying. When I said I was there to get a jump-start on holiday shopping she recommended some favorites, a few I ended up purchasing, and a couple things for myself. NOT WORTH IT. I have lived in Old City for over 2 years. My family consistently comes into town to shop and enjoy the unique boutiques in the area. Recently, My girlfriend and I bought a Christmas Gift for our mother that was one size too small. No problem - we will go exchange for a newer size. Well this was NOT POSSIBLE as they conveniently communicated a 2 week exchange policy. How approarproate this was communicated now not a month ago when actually purchasing the Christmas gift. Not to mention a gift receipt was requested and at no time did any retail associate communicate a 2 week exchange policy. IT IS THE HOLIDAYS. People buy gifts ahead of time (go figure) and a simple size exchange is disallowed for a $100 pair of sweatpants ? Honestly this is a complete joke. It was communicated so rudely from the retail cashier. What kind of customer service is this ? A receipt was shown from 3 weeks prior you won't allow a simple Christmas gift exchange ? So Essentially you are discouraging customers from buying gifts for outside family or friends ? What a disgrace. This place is all smoke and mirrors anyway. Every week they are advertising some new award they won yet it's from a publication or source no one has ever heard of. Shopping for over 3 decades I've never seen anything less professional and more inconvenient. A month ago they had no problem taking a $100 though. What's worse is the sweatpants we tried to exchange were still sitting on the same tired table. Looks like no recent purchases so I shouldn't be surprised by any of this. I had the worst retail experience there today I have ever had. The owner made a scene and was completely unprofessional in addressing me when I asked to return somethg that was past the time limit for returns. All she had to do was politely and professionally respond to me but she insisted on screaming and embarrassing me unnecessarily. The store is overpriced to begin with and it's no wonder they have new help every time I have been there in the past. Now I know why. It is against my best wishes to write a negative review about a place that at one point was very welcoming and fun however, I am extremely disappointed in the way our private party was treated this past weekend. Eight girls and myself booked a birthday party for a great friend of mine. I was previously there and had a wonderful experience making dream catchers. This was something everyone would love and I raved about it to everyone who would be attending. The first red flag was that the price per person was 30 dollars the first time and 50 dollars the second. I assumed that this was because we were booking a private party and the owner of the shop seemed very accommodating. She offered to make us snacks and give us champagne and birthday cake. We gladly paid that price. When we got there and realized we counted our girls wrong. We reserved space for 8 and had 9. This seemed to be something a business owner would appreciate considering it was an extra 50 dollars and there were supplies galore. Mid making dream catchers she called the store and asked to talk to me. I got on the phone and she very rudely told me that I was an inconvenience to her store and that I needed to take my party and leave or pay an extra 150 to accommodate one person and to pay for extra time. As outlandish as this is, I paid it so that the birthday girl wouldn't feel uncomfortable. I also offered to sit out and watch but that was not good enough either. Although it his put a damper on our night, we continued to make our dream catchers. At 830 we were rudely pushed out without our crafts being complete. The original party was booked for 7-9. Therefore, we didn't get the full amount of time or the extra time we paid for. This morning I called to reason with the owner. After refusing to see any parts of my story, she screamed, "you're the reason I need church in my life." I called her back and she ignored my calls. This is no way to act for returning customers and I refuse to let it be unknown. read more
