Great local sushi/Chinese food place! The new girl at the front desk is so friendly and helpful! I accidentally ordered some sashimi instead of the sushi pieces, they fixed it for me no problem! My order was ready within 10 minutes and the online ordering was super easy. I do wish the Kani Salad had more kani than cucumbers.

This Asian restaurant has a variety of sushi, rolls, rice dishes, and soups. I tried their Sweet 16…read moreroll with shrimp, fried banana, and lobster salad- it was an interesting combo and I'd recommend it if you like a sweet and savory combo. I also tried their Pineapple Shrimp Fried Rice which is easy 10/10. Got the Thai iced tea which was refreshing and sweet. The restaurant was cute and fancy/trendy. Service was good- did experience a little bit of a language barrier but overall the staff were attentive and professional.

Ambiance is very good. Very trendy. Nice architecture and furniture…read more The agedashi tofu was delicately fried. I liked that the breading was not deep fried and thick. The tofu was silken. The edamame is good. No complaints. All the sashimi and sushi we ordered was a la carte. The presentation was beautiful. The fish was fresh. Just wished maybe they were a little more firm. Maybe they were not as cold. Also wish the seaweed was crispier. I would come back on a weekend because they probably get fish shipment on Friday. I came on a Monday evening. They also said on weekends they have more special fishes. I would also like to try the tempura ice cream next time The fried rice was very good. The beef was tender and they cut it into smaller pieces for my son. The service was really good. The waitress just forgot to explain that special fishes like uni, Ikura and amai ebi you can not +$1 for three pieces. The staff is super nice. I would definitely come back. I would like to come back during the weekend for more specials. They are BYOB. Very happy to have another Asian restaurant in this area.

We had a very pleasant meal here with some good friends during our brief trip to Philadelphia…read more They suggested this place because they are familiar with one of the chefs, and we're always up for a new Asian fusion dining experience. We were seated right at our reservation time on the second level. We appreciated the bright lighting that seems to be lacking in a lot of restaurants these days. Our server greeted us warmly, took our drinks order, and gave us plenty of time to consider the menu as we caught up with each other. There are certainly a lot of different ways you can go here. They have an interesting array of signature rolls plus more traditional rolls, nigiri, and sashimi platters, but also a nice selection of appetizers, noodle and rice dishes, salads, entrees, and even Italian-style pastas. We ended choosing a selection of appetizers and rolls. Cucumber seaweed salad - ponzu dressing with a spicy aioli, this was fresh and crispy and quite good Crispy chicken bao buns - the mantou was soft and fluffy and the chicken was nicely flavored and worked well with the slaw/relish served on the side, but we would have much preferred pork belly instead of chicken Calamari - served with a yuzu aioli, this was a little disappointing because the calamari wasn't as crispy as we had hoped Tuna crispy rice - thin slices of tuna sashimi that you put on a round fried rice cake and top with a salsa. Interesting concept, but the salsa really didn't really seem to fit with dish. It was just a bit too spicy and overwhelmed the tuna, which was also a bit too thin to take center stage shishito peppers - light tempura batter and dipped in a garlic yuzu aioli, this was quite a tasty dish Salmon Samurai and Media Maki rolls - these were unexpectedly large - they seemed to be double rolls. The salmon roll had shrimp tempura and fresh mango that was quite nice. The Media maki had shrimp tempura, spicy tuna, cucumber, and asparagus, also very good - Pistachio opera cake - moist, complex in flavor, very delicious - Molten chocolate cake - rich, dense dark chocolate cake topped with mint gelato and served with a berry compote. My favorite dessert of the evening. - Pot de creme - thick, almost frosting-consistency cream topped with berries and crunchy topping. This was almost too much sweetness and I think that a slightly lighter consistency would have been nice, but I still ate more than my share In addition to a varied menu, they have a fine selection of beers, wines, cocktails, sakes, and Japanese whiskey. Our server was quite friendly and helpful. We were allowed plenty of time to chat after our meal, and we ended up being the last party to leave the dining room. It was a lovely evening and dinner, and we're looking forward to a return visit to try some of their other offerings.

What happened to Azie. Just like most other restaurants in the area, the quality has been in steady…read moredecline for years. This most recent visit was the worst. The service was friendly and prompt -- no issues there. But the food. Yikes. Kobe beef hot rock tasted really low quality. Shrimp tempura roll was tasteless and crunchy in a disgusting way. Truffle fries used to be upscale but now they are just fat greasy fries with truffle powder dusted on. My salad with "grilled shrimp" came with small, chewy, and overly salted sautéed shrimp. We've given this place a few tries recently because there are not that many good restaurants left in Media and we didn't want to cross another one off the list , but we're done after this visit.
