I'm obsessed with this place. We order the same thing every week without fail. I get the shrimp and broccoli, fried noodles, shrimp rolls, and my boyfriend gets the general chicken tso and steamed dumplings. We always order from doordash. The food comes to us extremely hot which is great. We recommend it to all our friends, even the ones in Cape May. We have tried other Chinese places but this one just outshines then all. We ordered from a different place two weeks ago that was closer to our job and the entire time I was eating it I just kept thinking of how much I wished it was the New Beijing House. I Usually order from Best Food In Town, but wanted to try a new restaurant. This was absolutely the worst meal I've had in a long time. I ordered shrimp egg foo young. I noticed right away it looked overdone, but decided to try it anyway. It tasted extremely burnt and had a gritty texture. It was actually so bad it went right in the trash. I'll stick with Best Food In Town for now on. read more

Not pleased with the Chinese food here. The dumplings tasted like cardboard and the sauce served with it was not right. You're probably better off going to Best Food in Town. I'll give them one more chance, hopefully it was just a bad night, I want to like this place because we live so close and they deliver. read more

This place is called New Beijing House. We've eaten at this place twice both times the food was satisfying; Delivery was very prompt and our take out order was also made quickly. Not sure why this place doesn't have any reviews, but it's worth a shot if you're in the mood for Chinese take out (they also have tables for dine in) Be sure to check their menu because they have free sides depending on your total bill. read more

Check your bill carefully for delivery, they would add extra on it without your knowledge. Ordered lunch for delivery, and paid more than was told, couldnt understand coz everything is in chinese. Be aware. Check the bill first before letting the delivery guy go!! read more

I just finished several dishes that I ordered from New Beijing House and I am very disappointed. I placed my order online which was convenient and easy and the ordering process even allowed me to adjust the spiciness of the "HOT" dishes I ordered. I request that the Chicken w/Garlic Sauce be prepared with medium heat and the Hot and Spicy Shredded Chicken and Szechuan Beef be prepared hot. None of these dishes have even a hint of heat and are all fairly flavorless. The best of the bunch is the Hot and Spicy Shredded Chicken but it is only mediocre at best. Now believe me, I am not expecting culinary greatness form a strip mall Chinese (American) joint but I have had much much better many many times. We also ordered Szechuan Beef that had some of the toughest and most rubbery "beef" I have ever experienced. Perhaps the most poorly executed dish however was the Wonton with Hot Spicy Sauce. When I ordered these I envisioned receiving crispy wontons with a side of Hot Spicy Sauce for dipping. What I received was a styrofoam clamshell container full of wontons that had been covered in the sauce. The sauce was actually quite tasty but only slightly hot and spicy but serving the wontons this way caused them to become soggy and chewy. Why would a kitchen even think this is a good idea? The Pork Fried Rice was fine and of your average variety. I'm not going into great detail with each dish because I feel that the majority of us know what comes in these dishes and there were surely no exciting twists in these dishes to bother mentioning. Very disappointing. Look elsewhere. In addition, when you walk in this place it just seems "odd" and there is a very strong smell of burnt oil permeating the establishment. read more

Don't order food from Beijing House. They must have been doing some cost saving and the food is bad now. Our wonton soup had no wontons. Our hot and sour soup was not hot or sour, it was just egg drop soup with stuff in it. The pan fried noodles we ordered only had some soy sauce drizzled on it and wasn't seasoned at all. It was practically white noodles. This place used to be good, not anymore! I would give 0 stars but can't. read more
