First time coming here and it is very cute and chic place like most bubble tea shops. The menu is extensive with lots of options and they do have a dessert display case which looks really nicely made. Lots of seating and there's a charging station and I thought I saw some cars games that you can play. I order the taro lovers from the frame menu items and I thought it was a bubble tea but it's actually shaved ice dessert in a cup basically. It is so good, they have real sweet taro with pandas jelly and sweet coconut milk with thinly shaved ice packed on top. Cute presentation as well! Lovely products but the experience was awful. The staff is so ignorant and terrible communicators. Not just slow in service but cannot answer basic questions. No, language barriers were not at play here. Everyone had NE US English accents and were fluent. I asked the cashier today what non diary options were available for the teas/smoothies and she tells me there are fruit teas. I had to ask over and over again in different words to get the non diary options-- by the way, they have almond milk, coconut milk. Then, the yogurt. I didn't read the about me for Bambu before going into the place but the avocado smoothies, vietnamese desserts and coffees and the Vietnamese LANGUAGE on the boards were a dead giveaway. I asked the staff if the yogurt desserts were Vietnamese yogurt or American yogurt. One genius tells me there's no such thing as Vietnamese yogurt and argues w me. Another looks like a deer in headlights... umm... it's just like... um... yogurt. Like what?!? Education is clearly missing on what you're selling. How the hell do you tell me Vietnamese style yogurt doesn't exist and you work front house staff for a place opened by four VIETNAMESE WOMEN?!? Absolutely absurd. I love this place not only because of it's super clean interior but because it's one of the only places with bubble tea. I highly recommend their taro milk tea and the regular black milk tea. The tapiocas are a hit or miss. One time it's soft and sweet and the next time it's flavorless and not as soft as last time. I think they need to work on their consistency especially with the most crucial ingredient ! Your tapioca bubbles !! I also hated to their avocado blended drink. They use real delicious biig juicy meat in their bunh mi. I mean who doesn't like marinated meat? On another thing, snow ice is one of the best. It was delicious. I recommend it to anyone who is looking for a healthier alternative than ice cream. I had mango and strawberries as toppings with herbal grass jelly. When I picked up my drink there was something extra that I was not expecting. There was egg pudding in there. I questioned that and the cashier said it came with the drink. There was nothing mentioned on the menu stating egg pudding comes with the drink. I politely ask if I could get another one. He said ok. I got my drink and the foam was already mixed so the tea was cloudy. It seemed like they scooped out the egg pudding and put the tea in another cup and gave it to me. It's always great to have something unique in the area, since our little suburban area needs a lift. The place is great so far, clean and the staff seems to be friendly enough. I enjoy the huge assortment of drinks available and I also love the amount of space there is in the establishment. It's a great location for people to catch up with friends and family and seems like it'll be a great place to go grab a drink and study as well. Prices can seem a smidge bit pricey but the they don't skimp out on amount and quality. The Che Desserts may seem funky if you're not accustomed to having jellos in your drinks but don't fret, there are other good options you can choose from (teas, milk teas, coffee, smoothies, juices, snow ice). Had a try of their Bambu Special ($6.25) with coconut, pandan jelly, longan, basil seed, and coconut juice; a generous amount of each was served. The mays landing BAMBU is my favorite one! It's large and modern inside. Very clean and has plenty of seating! The staff here is super friendly and very patient while you decide what to order. I love every drink here! Yet I still have not tried any of their coffee. Maybe next visit! I do think the staff should talk about the rewards program they have more. WRONG. I hated it. We ordered two drinks. One Salted Carmel and one iced Vietnamese coffee with those pearls. Chile, God came and left before we got our drinks. Noah built another ark and loaded it with animals before we got our drinks. 40 days and 40 nights came and went before we got our drinks. It was almost like they went to another country to make these drinks. Like they had to milk the cows. And when we finally asked if our drinks were ready. It was a "yeah" and 6 mins later. It came out. My friend didn't like her salted caramel. I like my Vietnamese coffee but hated the pearls. So I didn't enjoy the drink. I'm gonna give them one more try and then I'd still nothing.
