Rude lady! Sorta heard her attitude in the first few conversations we had but I ignored it. Then she gave me price for a cincher mind you I was still looking around because that's what a person normally does. I told her I wasn't gonna take the one she gave me the price on and she giggled and mumbled something that sounded like 'I knew you weren't gonna buy it' of course in Spanish since she's only a Spanish speaker so I asked for her to Repeat herself and she said it again. I was in disbelief what she said . I guess she was upset I didn't just go in and out. A sales person usually listens to what you want and communicates with you and helps you find the right item that suits you. Definitely not coming back here. Well organized store, good customer service. If you see the negative review left by Jennifer, please don't listen to her i witnessed the whole thing as I was shopping for two fajas. She was being very rude towards one of the workers just because they wouldn't reimburse her for her used faja. Apparently she had left deodorant marks on the faja for which the store owner cannot resell so that makes perfect sense as to why they tell you not try on if you have deodorant on. After weeks of searching on eBay and instagram for a affordable waist trainer / faja with good reviews I stumbled upon this place on yelp. I wanted to avoid ordering the wrong size and returning hassle so I decided to make the drive out there and I'm so happy I did! As soon as I got there they measured me and help choose the best waist trainer and size for my body. There was two ladies working and they were extremely nice! Their sweet daughter even watched my puppy while shopping. (I love family owned businesses, it's so cute to see generations working together) They even helped me put it on which is EXTREMELY difficult. Ladies!!! If you have been looking online as I have for a waist cincher/gridle/waist shaper, Look no further. New Body Couture carries practically everything I've seen online, even the butt lift jeans. As one of the reviews before me mentioned its a small place, but the best thing to do is park on 28th and not on Vermont. There was plenty of parking but please try to make it before 4pm :-) I just spent $60 on the same waist cincher online because I had to pay for shipping & tax also and it was the wrong size. I will return that one tomorrow back to the online seller. l will be doing business with Erica and her mother from now on. Oh and they have slimming creme also. Seriously bad customer service. While realized that this is a very small shop and ran by a 2 woman team I felt very uncomfortable here in more ways than one. First the shop is so small you can barely move around. The shop was also extremely hot and uncomfortable. The lady helping me made me feel rushed. There is no adequate space to legitimately try on the waist trainers. I felt manhandled when the lady put the trainer on me in the middle of the store. Then she told me that the one she put on me is the one I have to buy even though it was not the color I wanted. I was annoyed to say the least. I wouldn't recommend it here at all. read more

I was referred here by a friend of a friend to buy a waist cincher. The place is small but neat. The service was great. I walked in told the lady what I wanted and she then showed me different styles and how each one works differently. Once I decided on which one I wanted she measured my waist to make sure I was getting the correct size. The women are very friendly and helpful and they assist you with squeezing into a garmet and clipping it up. Their prices are reasonable compared to the Internet as well. My New Body Couture Ana Cherry waist-trainer came apart after two weeks. One of the corset's bones broke through the fabric and now is sticking out. (see photos) When I wore it anyway, I almost punctured myself which could have been serious but I just consider a warning to not wear it ever again. I called New Body Couture but they refused to allow me to exchange or return it, claiming I signed a receipt saying I could not return item if worn or after 7 days. I've called my credit card company. Funny how New Body Couture tried to get me to pay cash, saying the young girl and older woman didn't know how to do credit cards. There was also a serious language barrier and the older woman was recommending waist-trainers without fully understanding my needs. When I insisted on using a credit card, they called in a woman who could take my credit card. She spent a long time finding the right for me. She also instructed me how to wear it, and for how many hours, which I've been following religiously. But when I called today, the woman said waist-trainers were "not for everyone." I'd say that for sure, their waist-trainers are not for ANYONE who wants a $60 item to last more than two weeks. read more
