I am highly disappointed by the lack of communication and follow-through by this business. I ordered a headstone in late October and I made a specific request for completion and delivery by December 2nd. It is now December 26th and the headstone was attempted to be delivered to the cemetery on December 20th and according to the cemetery representative, the delivery man got a call that the headstone needed to be returned to their facility as it was not complete. I lost track of how many times I had to personally call them to get statuses, ask about delivery, ask about the edited photo, all things that their business should be doing as part of their service. I'm yet to know when this headstone will get delivered, I am yet to see the completed design. I failed to see the reviews below about the communication issues, and I wish I would have prior to giving them my business. read more

I'm a current customer waiting for my order to be complete. So far the lines of communication have been one-way. Just me calling and emailing them to check on the status of my order. It took them about a week to acknowledge they received my email confirming the art work unfortunately this was "AFTER" I called to let them know I responded via email. I then filled out and sent back the required authorization form emailed to me and no word since. Fast forward six (6) weeks later and I'm now on hold (17+ minutes & still counting) to speak with a representative so I can get a status update.... So far this experience is not going well... In 2020 I made an order for my brother's headstone. After a year and a half of exchanging many emails with Joseph, I finalized the design. I tried contacting him again for updates. I was given nothing. I called the placed, the manager picked up, he said he would look into it and call me back. He never did. I called again, a lady picked up, she looked I to it and said that Joseph no longer works there and there was no history of me asking for changes on the drafts and finalizing it. She decided to take over my order. She was quick and I finalized it and it started getting made. I asked for updates multiple times and all I got was that the headstone was finished and that I will be sent the tracking number when it ships. Soon half a year goes by again and I call the place again to talk to the manager, he was unavailable. I told them I wanted a refund. The lady looked into my order and called me back. She told me that the pri t on the headstone was not as clear as usual and that they set it aside to remake it but it was forgotten about until I called for an update. They said they will only take 5% of my payment and make me a new headstone and send it. I received the headstone about 2 weeks later and only got $49.25 as a refund. They took more than their 5% and when I asked about why the refund was that much, they never replied to me. After 2 years of putting in my order I finally received the headstone for my brother. read more

My father passed away back in November and we had issues with Our Lady Queen of Peace in Montecito Cemetery (Colton) regarding our headstone in which communication and timeliness were unsatisfactory. This is something that no grieving family should have to go through. I informed the funeral home that I will be cancelling the headstone with them and will go through an outside company. I went to the New Century website late at night a few weeks later because I was distraught and frustrated with the Cemetery. Immediately Christian Sepulveda at New Century Headstones replied in the chat and was very sympathetic to my situation and guided me through different legislation regarding cemeteries and headstones to help me deal with the funeral home. We ended up cancelling the headstone with the cemetery and went with Christian and New Century Headstones because his professionalism and help. We recieved the requirements from the cemetery regarding headstones and was given bad information to where our initial design was denied by the cemetery. Christian guided me with information that ultimately led to Montecito Cemetery paying for the headstone because of their negligence. In regards to the finished product, it was of emaculate quality and craftsmanship! I highly recommend Christian Sepulveda and New Century Headstones for your business. read more

New Century Headstones did an outstanding job on my wife's grave marker. It came out just as I envisioned my design would and was finished two weeks before the expected date. The only reason I am not giving five stars is like most of the other reviews state, communication is lacking. If they would only improve in that one respect then they would be a five star company. Again, the craftmanship is outstanding! Have patience with them and I guarantee you will not be disappointed in the final product. read more

Too bad I can't leave zero stars. Contacted the sales department and spoke to Joseph. I sent my rendering of a head stone to him. Six days later the phone numbers I was using are disconnected or not in service. I called the 800 number on the yelp page and was connected to an answering machine. Customer service and communication need to improve! I try to reach them alot of time via email and I was supposed to get a video demonstration of properly cleaning the laser stone and it been since March 2019 and still haven't received anything! After dealing with a place in Perris, with not returning my emails or calls, I decided to try New Century Headstones. At first Joseph was responsive but then the lack of communication and email/ phone calls stopped. I finally complained and got a new person to take over my account.. Victoria completely explained the whole process, payment and did EVERYTHING possible to help make my bad experience a great one. After dealing with this for months and months, she did exactly what she promised and today we had our loved ones headstone placed... Initially my review for New century headstones would have been a zero but Victoria quickly turned that all around. We are very pleased with the quality and craftsmanship and it came out perfect!
