I was hoping to find a new Chinese takeout place, this won't be it. I ordered Sesame chicken which was under cooked and terribly sweet. Rice was still crunchy. Can't suggest this place. Too bad. I will not be ordering from here again. read more

The food was terrible. We order general tsos chicken and the chicken had no flavor. Our beef and broccoli was nasty. The beef was over cooked. 28$ for the meals to go in the trash. The pork fired rice had no flavor or vegetables in it. Highly disappointed. read more

The food here is not bad, but employees are very rude and it is not the cleanest place. I go in here for my Client because she loves Chinese and each time I go in the area where they cook is very cluttered and you see food on bottom shelves open (as seen in my pic). I love good food, but not if I have to risk getting sick. The last time I ate there I ordered Shrimp with Broccoli, there was 3 shrimp in my whole meal and I'm not over exaggerating I counted it. I was very upset by this even more upset that my client got the same thing and she had 2 shrimp. I think I will be finding another Chinese restaurant in the area. read more

My family and I had a traumatic day. By the time we got home, we were starved and it was 9pm. We call New China and from the call in to order until delivery, the service and kindness of the employees was wonderful and welcoming. The food was amazing. Everyone raved abo their meals. This place is great! My boyfriend and I were craving Chinese food late at night and they were one of the only few that were open past 10PM! The thing i applaud the most about this place is that they actually put more meat than veggies in their dishes!...My experience with a lot of Chinese restaurants is that whenever I order dishes that come with meat and veggies together (ex. Szechuan Chicken), they always put more veggies and not enough meat. BUT this restaurant actually put more meat in our orders than veggies! Consistently good quality lunch specials to go. The general tso's with pork fried rice and an egg roll is a simple classic that is also a great grab and go value for lunch. They do deliver, and also have 2 liters, which is a plus. They also have a few tables inside for a quick bite, but would skip it for more formal sit downs. read more

Great food. Quick service. Easy, simple Takeout. Large portions. Well organized packaging and generous with their condiments. On another note ordering and pickup is made much easier with them, I really like how they know your order based on the phone number you called the order in on. Just ordered a pickup, normally they're pretty good food and all. But we ordered the jumbo fried shrimp, and specifically asked for the regular fried shrimp not the big breaded stuffed shrimp things which we don't like. Sure enough they gave us the wrong ones, and when we called to ask if we can come pick up the right ones, they still insisted we had to pay for them. Ok thanks for treating your customers so well after we decided to give you our business after you were closed for a long time due to corona virus. We were just going to China hut on McArthur rd which was really really good. Looks like we'll just stick with China hut, thanks new China. read more

Steamed dumplings with white rice , general zhous, with pizza roll instead of egg roll. Loved the food. I did select very spicy for general zhous but it could of been a bit more spicer. Other than that had a 5/5 read more

I've consistently eaten at New China for the last five years. Usually alright, pretty consistent. They do add mushrooms to dishes that don't typically have them, but I've learned to just ask to have them left out. On to why only 2 stars... About two months ago my daughter was eating dumplings and found a metal shard in one. We immediately threw out the rest and chalked it up to a random accident. They cook so quickly, who knows what happened. Most recently, I ordered wonton soup and got about halfway through it when I noticed I'd forgotten to add my crunchy noodles to the broth. Dumped them in and a band aid floats to the top. Ewwwww. Lost my appetite and now they've lost our business. Two major incidents that could be extremely hazardous to our health...no more New China for us. Sad, because typically I love supporting local businesses and I sure do love Chinese food. read more
