The place was clean and they play great music. The manager on duty was named Zach. He was also helpful and friendly. I really enjoyed my meal and the staff members who helped me. The food was ok but paying $45.00 for a cheeseburger, 2 hotdogs ($11.00 each), large fries and 3 small drinks, I feel is extreme! 4 of us went to Chili's and it was $51. I was there about 7 pm Nov 5th. Ordered two shakes for my grandkids along with four burgers totaling about $60. The staff completely forgot about the shakes so I went up to ask about them. After a few minutes still no shakes. I went back the second time to find that no one had started the shakes. I points out that we were nearly through with our meal and got absolutely no response. This was very disappointing!!!!! Not only bad service, NO ONE CARES!!! Finally got the shakes but noticed on the way out that the trash was overflowing and needed to be emptied. I am pretty dissapointed at this location. I had to wait 45 minutes for my food because they skipped over my order and claimed it was taken by someone else but fact of the matter is... Man up to it and apoligize, I'm not an idiot. Don't blame it on a customer picking it up when my number was never even called. I guess I'll skip going to this one. Sometimes in life you just have to go with the flow to keep the peace especially when family is involved. With that in mind, pretty much against my will I returned to this Five Guys for the first time in about a year. My "love" of this store and some of their policies has been well documented in my other reviews so I'll keep it simple with a few points. * While I did not hear any F-Bombs, I also still can barely hear myself think as the Sirius Classic Rewind Channel was blaringly loud today. Nothing like trying to create a fake atmosphere by turning the music volume up to a Spinal Tap-like 11 along with making the ordering process that much harder. * Back when the owner(s) would respond to reviewers with their full of crap talking points, one of the things that they would always mention would be that since everything is made to order all you need to do is ask and they will accommodate. Two letters best respond to that idea: B.S. I know from prior visits that they always, always, always skimp on certain toppings. So today I purposefully asked for extra BBQ sauce to be put on my burger. Did that happen? Hell No! There was the same micro-spot as usual. I also know from prior visits that the employees here love to salt the hell out of the fries. So of course when a person in my party asked for their fries to be made either low-salt or with no salt the response from "J" at the register was 100% total deer in the headlights. She said that they would "try to accommodate that" but that "it's not a standard practice that they do". As I'm waiting for the food I'm watching the dude who is making the fries to see if he would change his routine and of course that didn't happen. The batch of fries that ours came from had not one shake from his salt spreader, not two shakes or even three, four or five. No, it got eight full shakes from a guy that was big enough that he could be playing Center for the Eagles. Needless to say, request not granted in regards to not salting the fries. Eventually the MOD? came around to clear tables and when she asked about our food we shared our salt story and her response was a tepid apology along with an equally weak "we'll try and work on that". I always love when you get a bunch of corporate mumbo-jumbo from owners about what their stores will supposedly do only to find out that the actual operations people doing it day to day either have no idea that they are expected to do it or they blatantly don't give a crap because that would involve thinking outside the box or coming out from under a lazy blanket policy. Lesson learned all around again here that as long as you like it their way, things will be fine. Need something a little different? You would truly have better luck at at the Golden Arches. (Also their prices are out of control. Two regular burgers, one large shared fry and one regular drink now clock in at over $20. The manager is on the ball. This is my story. About a month ago we Ordered two burgers different toppings and the order was completely wrong. They offered us two free burgers next time around. So, today the day came and we decided to take them up on their offer. We go in order again and then again they messed up the order. Yes really! I had dinner there today, I was surprised how much the place has gone down hill recently. It use to be a clean, well maintained location, not any more. In my visit today one of the bathrooms was out of order, so everyone had to use the same, it was dirty. The trash cans were over flowing to the point were an empty peanut box was converted into trash. They were out of regular cups, no napkins in the napkin dispenser and the coke machines were out of at least half of the flavors. I saw 3 employees working, but not a manager in site my entire time there. Not a single gray shirted employee. The floors were dirty with napkins, straw wrappers and peanut shells all over the floors. The only reason that they are getting 2 stars is the food was what you would expect. Ok, exactly who are these five guys and how do I get to hug them? I hate that I love this place. I can slowly feel my cholesterol levels spiking at record levels after having a burger, bacon hotdog and order of fries for dinner last night. Glutton? Nah, I just wanted a snack. Can I tell you how much I love their super friendly staff? Do they put them on something that makes them all so cheery and happy? I suppose the aroma of bacon grease can do that. You can't go wrong with bacon, folks. They make a damn tasty burger. Period. They absolutely beat all the other fast food chain burgers without question. It's filling, juicy, and mouth-watering. Same goes for the perfectly grilled hotdog. Love the fact that the toppings are all free and unlimited. Prices are very reasonable for the burger ($4.99) itself, but those doggies are damn pricey at being over $3. People seem to rave about the their generous portioned fries, but I found them to be just all right. Definitely not amazing, but far from being bad. The "best burger" is such an asinine phrase. Everyone likes their burgers made in a certain way so everyone's opinion will be subjective. So forget about the long-winded debates and comparisons of this place. I had hear mixed things about Five Guys from outstanding basic burger, to eh, ok way greasy. They get a thumbs up from me for free peanuts while you wait for food. The food is all made to order, making it fresh. As the other reviewer noted there are several toppings, although nothing too exotic, to put on, which are all included in the price. The "little" burgers aren't so little. It just means you get one meat patty (enought for most people) instead of the usual 2. Burger was definitely greasy, but good. Fries were fresh cut and fried in peanut oil making them especially tasty (with malt vinegar of course). For the two of us 1 regular burger, 1 little burger, large fry to split and large drink to split it was $16. A little more than I'd want to pay on a regular basis for a burger (unless it was outstanding, which this wasn't). Would I eat here again? Yes. Would I go out of my way to eat here? No. read more

Went here the other day with the girlfriend after doing some shopping. We were both very hungry and had heard nothing but good things about the place. We both got the regular bacon cheeseburger and I got onions tomato and jalapeno peppers in mine. Oh and ketchup. It was delicous and the fries are equally awesome. I was stuffed when I was through eating. The best part was they used fresh jalapenos instead of pickled ones. I love the taste of a jalapeno chili, the meat was fresh, and the cheese was ooey gooey. I'd been holding off on going...the reviews have been so hit or miss, but when I got off a 9:20 pm arrival from ABE the other night, I really needed decent food that didn't take an hour. So Five Guys was our stop. As it was late, there weren't too many visitors. We didn't wait in line at all, and we only saw three other parties while we were waiting for the food. The burgers are dang tasty. Are they fancy gourmet frou frou burgers? No. But the "little" burger was more than plenty for quantity and above average for quality. I like the toppings options. We both had little cheeseburgers & split an order of fries. Less than $10 and we were full. I tend to skip soda, so I thought it was a better deal than most other chain hamburger joints. I'd rather skip the drink and have the better food. They are slow...it took about 12 minutes from the time we ordered to the time we saw our food. No biggie. This outlet for Five Guys just opened. Some coworkers and I have been eying this place the past few weeks waiting for it to open. Finally saw the Now Open sign up and went there on the first day. This is my first time at any Five Guys. I've been to In-N-Out many times now. I have to say that this is now my favorite burger joint. Amazingly fresh burgers similar to INO. The difference is in the toppings. You can choose from about a dozen toppings that can be added free. This is the first place I've been to where sauteed mushrooms were not an extra charge. The toppings help to make the burgers uniquely different. The fries are also pretty good. Fresh cut fries either plain or with Cajun seasoning. By making essentially just two different items, Five Guys can turn over their stock of ingredients very quickly. I believe that the freshness of the ingredients is key to Five Guys success. Their burgers may not be the absolute best, but they are very good, very reliable, and relatively fast and inexpensive. I love this place! Sure everything's super greasy, but that's part of the allure. They're not trying to hide what they do best: super juicy, delicious burgers and fries. I almost always get a bacon double cheeseburger with pickles and ketchup, and it's always good: bacon is crisp, burgers are freshly made, and the pickles are crunchy. Be warned: the standard burger is 2 large patties, so if you aren't a big eater, go for the smaller version. I'm also a huge fan of the fries. They're hand cu, and just the right amount of crispiness. It's cool that once the fry container is full, they take another scoop and pour it right into your bag. You gotta love the presentation, too: everything goes into a standard brown paper bag, which, due to the extra fries, always has some nice grease stains on it. I complained and got a call from someone at corporate but the bottom line is they won't cook a burger to medium rare as all burgers are cooked to medium well. I've been to Red Robin, Apple Bee's, Friendly's, and many McDonald's, Burger King, and Wendy's across the country since I've move around a lot. I've drive past five guy's many times and always hesitate on what to get since I can make my own burger. So, I decided to walk in and order and cheese burger. I notice the price was pretty high, but I notice free topping of my choice. Woohoo! I had cheese burger with Mayo, Lettuce, Pickles, Tomatoes, Grilled Onion, and BBQ sauce and fries. It took awhile since they were busy, but it was worth the wait. It isn't like other fast food where they have all these stuff to hide how they make the burgers in the back. You can clearly stand there and see how they make your burger. After getting my food I went back to work to eat. I love the fries so much that I ate all the fries on the ride back to work. The fries are way better in my opinion. That because I love the amount of salt and the crispiness of the fries, pretty much how I make my own fries. So, back at work I take the burger out, it was pretty sloppy, but I guess it isn't how McDonald's or any other fast food lies about how there burger looks like on the commercial. Happy to see it reopen, we came for lunch. New seating & design is nice. However, clearly a new and INEXPERIENCED staff. Our burgers were messy, and not well put together. My husband's burger fell out of the foil as I removed it from the bag, and was sloppily made. Mine had enough sauce on it for three burgers. Rather than yelling out to customers to get their orders, the manger should be focusing on quality control. Would recommend waiting a while before going, as staff isn't very skilled in making a burger. read more

I've been here several times since its recent opening. First off, some of the reviewers for this location and the Tilghman Street location should put things in perspective. Five Guys is not trying to be a "gourmet" burger restaurant or to have the "best overall" burger in the area. It's supposed to be the best of the fast food burgers, and that's pretty much what it is. They do a good job at that. I didn't find the burgers to be overly greasy. As others mentioned, they offer many toppings at no extra charge. I don't eat fries so I can't comment on them. Cons? The lines can get pretty bad - almost out the front door at peak times - but they do move. Since they're so busy, the tables don't get cleaned as often as they should. On one visit I ordered a bacon burger but it came without the bacon. I didn't feel like barging through the mass of people waiting for their food so I just let it go. Also, avoid this place if you have a peanut allergy, they are all over the place in Five Guys. read more
