Some traditional Chinese music piped in over the intercom would go a long way to improving the atmosphere--which felt pretty sterile, frankly. Would I eat here again? Sure. It is your standard Americanized Chinese food and most of the items on the menu are pretty typical except I don't recall seeing egg foo young. A lot of the entrees came with complimentary soup. The choices were wonton, hot and sour, and egg drop soup. We tried fried wonton, Mongolian beef, vegetarian lo mein, tofu in spicy garlic sauce, and sesame chicken combo with fried rice and egg roll. It was plenty of food for the six of us and we had leftovers. Proper Mongolian beef is hard to come by these days . It isn't supposed to be overly saucy and should just have enough sauce for a slight coating. The beef should be served with crispy white noodles and scallions. Oriental Garden's version is different and resembles the standard soy-sauce based sauteed beef with lots of mushrooms and onions. It was tasty but it wasn't Mongolian beef. And oddly enough, the fried wonton has meat when it usually doesn't. We weren't opposed to it though.
