The almond chicken dinner was enough for two people, with leftovers! The owner is So friendly! They use the yellow sauce with shredded almonds on top. I can't stand the brown sauce! The food here is decent depending on how picky you are. It is standard Chinese take out which I happen to enjoy. The general toa is my go to. They have generous portions and I can get a couple lunches out of my leftovers. I have never eaten in so I can't speak to the service there. The takeout is quick and I can usually call before leaving work and pick up on the way home. The My guess what? They have told me that it would take my word to be ready with 30 minutes. Still open, for takeout, my experience was much better this time around. Called in the order, Server let me know it would a wait because of the amount of orders they had. I really didnt feel like going anywhere else after a long day and i was right down the street. So i waited, for my one order of Pork Egg Foo Young combination with an extra eggroll. First of all, I expected to be seated for dinner not a to go meal. I had ordered General Tao dinner. The chicken was ok, the fried rice was flavorless, it had nothing in it. No vegetables or barbecue pork! The egg roll was raw in the middle and burnt on the outside. Then they charged me extra for sweet and our sauce and soy sauce. By the time I got it home it was cold. Wonton and Chinese vegetable are the same thing but with wontons of course in the wonton soup. Tons of bean sprovery good. This place is a gem, the place is small and currently only open for carry out due to covid crisis but wow the food was outstanding. The thing that really impressed me was huge portion of food I got for a lunch special! There was so much it lasted for dinner the next night. My only major complaint is the styrofoam containers leak a bit but they wrap them up pretty darn well with plastic wrap on the bottom so if you just throw it on a paper plate in the fridge and it's a non-issue If your like me and you want super duper spicy food and don't really know how to articulate that? The food here is a hit or miss. Some days it's really good other days it is not. The Chinese place is inconsistent with the way the food is cooked. It may be a day where your craving food and it becomes a waste of money. I would say it is okay, but not worth the price.
