My order of beef Lo Mein and combination special of sweet and sour chicken with pork fried rice was surprisingly good. The food was reminiscent of New York style Chinese takeout so I must say I was taken a back. The Lo Mein tasted good but I will say it had a lot of sauce and was slightly softer than I prefer. The sweet and sour chicken was typical of anywhere but the pork fried rice had a smoked flavor to it which gave it a nice touch. You could really taste that hot fired-up wok! The only negative I would say about this first experience was that the egg roll was not fresh and seemed fried twice yet still more mushy than crispy. I'm interested in trying other menu items but I should pace myself because healthy eating isn't a synonym for Chinese take out.
