We were there to celebrate a birthday and by the end of our lunch she asked what kind of dessert he wanted and brought it out for him. On the house. So sweet. The shrimp tempura roll was good. I didn't have any of the titanic boat for 2, however they said it was good. The shrimp and steak hibachi was not that good. It was overly saucy and had this weird ginger after taste. To be honest, not sure if it's even ginger. But it didn't taste good. The hibachi came with fried rice. That was meh. And honestly wouldn't been better off with no sauce at on the hibachi with white rice. I've definitely had better elsewhere. I should've ordered another shrimp tempura because that was good. Eight mid week during dinner rush-hour we were sat right away there's no weight there is lots of booths and places to sit We ordered the coconut shrimp and white rice one of the best I've tried in the past year We also had the beef and noodle dish. Beef was nice and soft noodles were cooked to perfection. I ordered takeout and got a mix of four dishes my husband and I usually like at Chinese restaurants, and about 50% of them did we actually enjoy (the Coconut Shrimp and Veggie Lo Mein). The Cashew Chicken as well as the beef and broccoli tasted like the only ingredient in the sauce was soy sauce, very one note. I was so excited to see "Thai" food advertised in Orange City but this is a lie - there were very few flavors in this meal that would classify it as Thai food. I ordered the Tom Yum soup, which was so fishy and essentially just basic miso soup. There were no real Thai flavors here - no signature lime or lemongrass flavors that Tom Yum is known for. The fact that they charge $8 for this is wild to me. The Spicy Thai Fried rice was also off - it was just fried rice that had chunks of basil and jalapeños in it, which was another incorrect Thai flavor profile. Overall, the menu items were misleading. Another sushi spot has opened in Orange City! We need more places like this! I was so excited that this place opened nearby. The restaurant is cute and the staff are nice. We started off with the Krab Rangoon. They were good! We ordered a bunch of sushi! Everything tasted fresh and delicious! The Royal Special Roll was my favorite! All the rolls we got were good though. They have a bunch of different Asian cuisine on the menu that I'm dying to try. I definitely recommend this place if you love Asian food. This is by far my favorite Asian bistro in Deltonal orange city. They have a little bit of everything; Japanese, Thai and Chinese. The Thai fried rice is very good, not too spicy. I've gotten a hand full of sushi rolls here and they've all been good as well. Super clean restaurant and the staff is nice and accommodating. The lunch rolls are a good price, but tiny. Royal Asian Bistro is easily one of the best Asian spots in the area. My previous go-to Asian spot was Red Bowl on Saxon Ave, but I already feel Royal Asian Bistro is better. The restaurant looks nice, the service is good, and the food is very good. We had fairly simple meals that consisted of General Tso's chicken with white rice and the Garlic chicken with white rice. Both meals were really good and flavorful. I did not see any pork on the menu, so unfortunately you probably won't be getting pork fried rice with spare ribs, but there is quite a selection of different Asian cuisines. I saw Chinese, Thai, & Japanese food on the menu. We will definitely be returning to try different items on the menu, but so far this is the go-to spot until someone else decides to replace them! read more

Happy to have more variety in Asian food come to Orange City! This newly opened restaurant has an extensive menu and a great vibe, I'm hoping it'll be around for a long time! The decor and atmosphere are delightful, open and clean with fun murals and touches all over. It has a quiet, romantic vibe but can easily be a great venue for an energetic gathering. Even the bathrooms were spotless and inviting. The menu is extensive with Chinese, Japanese, Thai, and even a little Korean thrown in. The Japanese ranges across sushi, hibachi and tempura while the Chinese sticks mostly to American Chinese. We started with soup because I'm a huge soup lover and if you can't do a good, simple soup there's not a lot if promise. Egg drop was a bit more viscous than I'm used to but flavorful with a nice low hint of sesame oil. Hot and Sour was a great balance of both and not too hard either way. Egg rolls were egg rolls, well fried, constructed nicely. The interior was a bit soft for my taste, I prefer to still have a bit of crunch, but overall solid. For sushi we tried the spicy crunchy tuna roll which for its simplicity was well constructed and a good hint of spice and a great texture on the tuna. The Jordan roll had a still warm piece of crispy shrimp tempura with good quality tuna and salmon on top, cleaned and cut well so there were no sinewy pieces. The rice was still fresh and warm which was delightful because the fish wasn't ice cold (which brings out more flavor). Mains were kung pao chicken which was good but a tad salty and very low spice though I swear I got a tingle of Szechuan peppercorn? The chicken was cooked well and tender and the veggies had just a hint of crispness still. My father got the Thai basil shrimp which was hands down the best dish of the night. A flavorful sauce balanced with spice, salt and the fantastic zing of Thai basil was covering plentiful and large shrimp which were perfectly cooked. They are still in the training stage and have signs up for extra help. Still the service was quick and extremely personable. I will absolutely be back to try more dishes! read more

Decided to try this spot on a whim after my husband and I decided we wanted to sit down for dinner and not spend too much. I'm glad we went! We got the pork fried wontons, honey chicken, and Chicken Panang. The wontons were solid, 6 for $6 is great. The honey chicken still had some crisp to it and I loved the texture of the sauce, it didn't have a ton of flavor and if I was told it was sesame chicken I wouldn't have questioned it. It was still good! My husband had the panang and he wouldn't stop raving about how good it was, but he wishes it had some spice to it. We also appreciate the decent pricing on our meals. I read another review where they awarded a 5 star rating to this oriental food restaurant, and I decided to treat my hubby to a lunch out. We enjoy trying new eateries and we chose the Royal Asian Bistro. What a treat!! The 5 star rating, in my opinion, was absolute! When we arrived, we were greated with a genuine, friendly smile and a "welcome". My hubby is a diabetic and I asked the young lady behind the counter if all their dishes were prepared with sugar (a BIG "no no" for a diabetic) or was it possible to order a dish made WITHOUT sugar. The receptionist went back to the kitchen to inquire an obtain an accurate answer (we really liked that .. no guesswork). We were told that many of the sauces for some dishes are already prepared containing sugar, but, some of those dishes contain a very small amount of sugar. Also, they had some dishes containing no sugar at all. This was pleasing to our ears and we decided to give it a try. The restaurant was was not large, and was neat and clean. It was fairly full already but we were seated immediately and given menus by a very friendly server who asked us what beverages we would like while deciding on our meal. We both are seafood lovers so we chose an appetizer of crab rangoons (6). I opted for an Asian Shrimp lunch special which came with a cup of very good, egg drop soup that had a suprisingly delicate, but very pleasant, enjoyable taste. Not the strong chicken noodly flavor that some places serve. I ate EVERY DROP. The JUMBO shrimp was in a lightly spiced garlic brown sauce with mixed veggies (green peppers, onions, mushrooms, broccoli, zucchini, carrots and a touch of celery). The sauce was "labeled .. hot garlic sauce" but my inquiry as to "how hot" was answered as "very little". Our server was right .. it had a delightful slight amount of heat that evolved only as you were swallowing. The dish consisted 10 or 11 JUMBO shrimp. I'm not kidding .. JUMBO! It was quite good ... and the portion was large (literally half of the plate). It came with tasty fried rice with a small amount of veggies in it that filled the other half of the plate! What an excellent lunch special and all of it .. cup of egg drop soup, jumbo shrimp with mixed veggies and fried rice .. all for only $10.99! I couldn't eat it all and took 1/2 of the shrimp dish home as well as the 6 crab rangoons ($6.99). We had ordered them to go. My hubby opted for a shrimp dish as well ... Thai Cashew Nut Shrimp .. lightly breaded jumbo shrimp, onion, green peppers, and carrots served in a very tasty brown sweet chili sauce .. Again JUMBO shrimp .. a large portion of about 10 shrimp at a cost of $15.99. Hubby changed the white rice to fried rice with only a $2.00 upcharge. Hubby ate the whole thing! He was a very happy camper. We each had a soda for our beverage. As a side note, when hubby tested his blood sugar in the evening .. it was at a normal level .. yeaaa! So, the small amount of sugar in his shrimp dish did NOT cause his blood sugar to spike .. GREAT NEWS for any diabetic .. no insulin shot was needed! Our lunch was really enjoyable .. in a quiet, friendly, clean, smallish sized restaurant, with attentive, happy servers, GREAT tasting food, and VERY REASONABLE prices. Our entire lunch .. a crab rangoon appetizer (6) that we ordered to go, my cup of egg drop soup (part of the lunch special) , 2 large portioned shrimp & veggie meals, and 2 sodas came to only $43.60. What a treat .. great food in a nice clean little restaurant, with very friendly people at great prices .. what more could a person want? If you enjoy Thai, Japanese & Chinese food at reasonable prices, I believe you'll enjoy the Royal Asian Bistro located in Orange City, FL in the shopping center right after The Olive Garden on Enterprise Blvd. We will definitely be going there again, and again! I only ordered Chinese food and it was acceptable, but not the best I've had. Pay attention to the pepper signs next to each entree. The Mongolian beef is very spicy! However, you have to eat in to get anything alcoholic and after spending close to $45, I couldn't get a tea bag without being charged for a hot tea. Sushi is great! Not a lot of rice in each roll and they're delicious. Their pad Thai is definitely not pad Thai, just a stir fried noodle (missing tamarind sauce).
