I've been going here 15 years, the owners here are like family to us, they are the most SWEETEST people you'd find. I've had watched the girls grow up ever since they were five and we've never had a problem ordering from them. Today I had ordered chicken wings with shrimp fried rice. The chicken was fresh and crispy, not too dry or mushy soft. The shrimp fried rice is the BEST in town, they are actually BROWN rice, not like other restaurants that sell yellow rice. I'm from New York and the food here tastes just like back home. The ice tea here is amazing, my family would always fight over it. The prices are fair and they would always give us free items. If you haven't already tried out this place, I highly recommend you try their food, it is delicious. read more

If you have a palate for Chinese food, consider yourself lucky for reading this review first. The General Tso combo is $14, bland and so was the accompanied rice. I was under the impression that at least the rice had flavor since it had a yellow tone to it. So now I'm wondering if they use food coloring, but I should not speculate as I have no evidence of this. The beef teriyaki sticks almost made me cry, but in a bad way. They now give 3 instead of four (all of the neighboring restaurants seem to give 3 now, it's not just them) but most importantly, they were not prepared nor seasoned properly. Feel free to look at my pictures to get a glimpse of the Before & After pictures of an attempt at eating their beef teriyaki sticks... You will find that I was not very successful in completing this task. Mainly because the sticks were about an inch thick and almost impossible to chew. And I really tried! So if you like chewing rubber, this is the one. There was a long line the day after Hurricane Ian, so it looked promising, which brought me in yesterday. I recently experienced three times now one person says one price on the phone and when we went to pick the food up someone else gives a price $3.00 to $5.00 more. Not a good business practice. I Purchased 3 different combo dinners, one being shrimp and lobster sauce. I began to eat it and i did not like the texture or taste of the shrimp. Within a few minutes i started feeling squeezy and began to throw up. It was an awful experience. I called the restaurant and person asked me if i was sick before i walked in. Food is better than some of the other places around and they sometimes give free egg rolls or free soup with your order which is nice. This used to be my favorite fast Chinese food joint. The owner always remembered me and would cook meals to order. Food used to be fresh and delicious. I haven't seen the owner there for sometime now and she must have sold. We ordered chicken and broccoli the other night with chicken fried rice. The "chicken" was not real and tasted like paper and the veg in the fried rice was hard and uncooked. The chicken in the rice and entree were both translucent and mushy. The staff is professional and the food is fantastic. As New York Style Chinese food goes, this is the best in the area. The young ladies working the counter are AMAZINGLY tolerant. Frequently, this location provides free item(s) to their customers such as soup or extra egg rolls. On 2/25/2018, I placed a telephone order for pickup. While waiting, I observed multiple customers demanding other types of soup for free, requesting free sodas, etc. The poor young lady behind the counter never flinched; she accommodated each reasonableish request (soup changes;dude didn't get his free Sprite) with a smile. The whole time she dealt with the difficult customers, she was answering the phone. I really felt bad for her, but she kept her attitude professional and a smile on her face. I frequent this location, and will continue to go back because of the good food and even better staff. Always fresh! Love this place. I don't eat at any other takeout place locally. The veggies are always crispy and fresh and I never get sick here. There are many other Chinese takeouts in deltona but none stand all chance with them. They also remember the customers very well and will do their best to accommodate you. Food isn't bad, the decor and atmosphere of the place and personality of the staff has all the charm and attractiveness of a roll of barbed wire. We ate "in" and the food arrived in take-out boxes rather than the plates in their pictures, the "waitress" set the stuff down and pretty much unceremoniously left, hollering from the cook staff in the back was regular and the only water available for drinking was bottled one had to purchase. I always laugh when making my order because the staff is so kind and funny. The food is made fresh and if you peek a little you can see them making it. Asians can be racist too. My daughter called and asked about employment there. She was asked how old she is and she told them 15. They asked if her parents allowed her to work to which she responded yes. (I didn't particularly want her working there because of the location and the fact that I knew they're racist as far as hiring goes) I allowed her to go, just to support her desire to try. The manager told her to come in the next day at noon for an interview. Her friend, a light skinned Latina had already gotten hired and they also affirmed that they are hiring. My daughter doesn't sound "ethnic" on the phone. When she went the next day, on time, appropriately dressed for an interview (white polo, khaki's, closed toe shoes, pony tail and quarter sized earrings) my beautiful brown child was immediately told "oh sorry, you have to be 18" LIES! They have always had underage children working there. Her Latina friend is 16 by the way. Never a dark brown face in the place. I've gone there for the past 10 years but I will NEVER spend another dime there and will be sure to let all of my brown friends know. They don't mind taking our money but are really only in the community to take and build theirs. Which they have every right to do. It just won't be on my dime since you're not equal opportunity.
