Sesame chicken tasted like a mixed between orange chicken and general tso (nothing to rave about). My biggest complaint however was the chow mein. When we arrived we were skeptical, it doesn't look like much. But we went in, immediately met one of the owners and treated us like old friends.. Since I was young my mom Erin, and step dad Karl order here almost weekly! The food is consistently fresh, hot and made quickly. Quick shout-out to our girl Candy!! Our go-tos are general tsos chicken, sweet and sour shrimp or chicken, egg roll, spring rolls, wonton soup, lo mein, teriyaki chicken and krab Rangoon. With my personal favorites being teriyaki chicken or general tsos. But I've tried probably half of the menu! It is all delicious! You could not go wrong with anything you ordered. I ordered take out for lunch and it was great. I ordered the lunch special of king Pao chicken with pork fried rice and a cup of wonton soup. I took it 3 miles back to work and it was still extremely hot to eat. They provided fork and napkins in the bag and I also bought a can of soda. Portion was enough for 2 people and delicious. When we lived in the area, my wife and I always said we'd try this place, but never did. So, when we were in Edgewater over the weekend, we gave em a try. I ordered the sweet and sour chicken combo. It was very tasty. The chicken was crisp and moist. The rice wasn't bad either. The combo came with an eggroll also and it was very good. My wife ordered the General Tso's chicken combo. It was spicy and delicious. She usually only eats a bite or two of eggroll, but she liked theirs so much she ate the whole thing. The interior of the place is typical storefront with a few tables. Not good, ordered shrimp toast and pork fried rice. Shrimp toast was nasty, tasted like a deep fryer sponge and wasnt even done correctly, threw it away after one taste! Pork fried rice was below average too, too much cheap wok oil aftertaste! I want expecting kowloon quality but at least do the basic american chinese properly!
