Reminds me a lot of food from NYC. Their bbq ribs & boneless spare ribs are amazing. The sauce they use is delicious. Service is quick.

TLDR: Great place give it a try…read more Being new to the area one of the first spots we looked for was a Thai restaurant....and we were stunned to have one with such great reviews just a few minutes away. The online ordering was simple and quick, the only thing I would say could be improved would be the ability to remove ingredients from a dish (I have some picky eaters). Walking into the restaurant to pick up my order I was happy to see it very clean and fresh looking, not run down or lacking in care. The employees were cordial and handed me my order. We splurged a bit on the first order wanting to try several dishes and I can say we were very happy with the food. Quality of the ingredients was great, taste was fresh and tasty. The ability to add ingredients to the order made me quite happy as a non-picky eater! I started with the basil chicken and added sprouts and zucchini, and it was nothing short of perfect. The pad-Thai was really good, and the donuts for dessert were great. Just to see if it was a one time thing we ordered a few days later and it was just as good. We have found our new Thursday night Thai spot!

We ordered two appetizers, but only one arrived promptly. The second appetizer didn't come out until about 10 minutes later, which was frustrating. On my first visit, I had the green curry with chicken, and it was absolutely delicious--rich, flavorful, and one of the reasons I decided to return. However, on this visit, the same dish was completely different. The curry was watery and lacked flavor. It honestly tasted like an entirely different recipe. My parents ordered the Tiger Tear (Beef Salad) and Pad See Ew, and they were also disappointed with their meals. None of the dishes had the quality or flavor we experienced during our first visit. I'm not sure if there has been a change in the kitchen or a new chef, but the food quality has definitely declined. Sadly, based on this experience, we won't be returning.

Which a food hall with various food options and a bar. It is an cool spot. You place your order on a self-serve kiosk ( just like in Japan) and then you will get a text when your food is ready. I ordered the miso ramen and the broth was delicious. The pork will melt in your mouth and the egg was cooked to perfection. We also ordered the Karage chicken bites. They were delicious. Sometimes during peak hours or weekends can be hard to find indoor seating so keep that in mind. You can also find tables outside. I'm 100% coming back here soon!

On my most recent visit I ordered the Addictive Cabbage, which is supposed to come with Yugiri spice-seasoned cabbage, sesame oil, rice vinegar, and nori komi furikake. This time it was extremely dry and bland unfortunately, the Addictive Cabbage did not live up to its name-it lacked flavor and was quite dry. The past two times it fell short of expectations, especially compared to how enjoyable it has been in the past. The edamame was another letdown. It came out ice cold and was overly seasoned to the point where it was hard to enjoy. My first time trying it. For my main, I ordered spicy ramen. The noodles were clumped together and tasted undercooked. There was very little broth, and what remained had mostly been absorbed by the noodles. On top of that, both the noodles and broth were extremely salty-honestly one of the saltiest bowls of ramen I've ever had. Some ingredients also seemed to be missing. The last two times this one was disappointing. It's usually well balanced and delicious. Especially at what they charge for a bowl. The veggie dumplings were underwhelming and lacked flavor. I only tried them once so don't know if that is how they normally are. Service was just as frustrating. No one was at the counter for long stretches of time, and when I tried calling to see if I could bring the food back for a remake, there was no answer or callback. I even reached out online a few weeks ago before posting this review and still haven't received any response. I kept my receipt as well. This is now the second visit in a row where both the food and service have been disappointing. It really feels like things are declining, which is unfortunate because this place used to be reliable-especially for ramen and appetizers. I genuinely hope they turn things around, but based on my recent experiences, I can't recommend it right now.

Big Portions, Amazing Service & Such a Great Find…read more My husband and I decided to try My Greek Taverna, and wow... we're so glad we did. Our server Kayden was wonderful from the moment we sat down. She was welcoming, kind, and kept checking in on us throughout the meal to make sure everything was good. It made the whole experience feel relaxed and cared for. Johnny and I both ordered the gyro platter (mainly because I didn't want to share LOL). We didn't realize it would come as a full platter with the meat, pita, potatoes, and toppings on the side, but that was totally on us because it does say it on the menu. We were just too excited to try the food and ordered quickly. Kayden explained that what we were originally thinking of was the gyro sandwich, and she was so sweet about it. She even apologized, which we assured her she absolutely didn't need to do because the mix-up was completely on us. Now we know for next time! Johnny also tried the avgolemono soup, and I had the Greek salad. I'm usually not a big feta cheese person, but wow... it was the perfect touch to the salad. Everything tasted incredibly fresh and flavorful. You can really taste the freshness in everything, like it's made with care and simple, quality ingredients. The portions are BIG, which we loved. We definitely ended up taking food home. Next time I'm ordering extra pita bread because wow... that pita was so good. We actually didn't even make it to dessert because we were so full, but that just means next time I'll be sure to leave some space. The whole place had such a great vibe too. The staff were smiling, the atmosphere felt warm and welcoming, and it just made the whole experience even better. As silly as it may sound, you can truly feel the love in the food and in the place itself. This is easily one of my favorite hidden gems, and we're already looking forward to coming back and trying more from the menu.

Once you understand that this is a restaurant founded in 1959, housed in a former two story home originally built in 1951, you may come to appreciate the history and understand the vibe. It is truly amazing that this historic restaurant has survived in 2026. I happen to like the uniqueness and honestylye-feel, as if you're at someone's grandma's house. There is plenty of parking directly behind the restaurant and a small lot in ftont of the restaurant. There's parking along the side too. I enjoy the beautiful plants and flowers surrounding the restaurant. Honestly, they can make for a nice photo on a good day. Upon entering, if it's busy, like on Sunday afternoons, you'll find that you'll receive a little card with a number on it. After waiting and listening for your number to be called, you'll be seated. Check the website before you go... You'll be prepared for the hybrid meal service. Some things are served to you at the table and are not unlimited, like soups and desserts. Some things are self-serve and unlimited, like the old-fashioned salad bar and hot vegetables. A server will hand-carve your choice of meat for you. Just "know-before-you-go" by taking a quick glance at the website. Is it five star food? No. Is it just homey country style cooking? Yes. They serve lunch and dinner. They are supported by generations of locals. Lots of people like to celebrate their birthday here. If you bring at least 3 friends to help you celebrate, you'll dine for free. Contrary to many reviews, I've never experienced or seen rudeness. In fact, I've seen staff taking the time to be friendly to guests. When coming here, you can't be super picky about the food - it's not a five star restaurant. Yes, the green beans may be from a can. It's okay, you'll survive! Enjoy the unique experience!

This scratch kitchen spot has quickly become one of my favorite places in town, and after our recent visit, my guests and I were all blown away. The food was absolutely amazing, impressing everyone at the table so much that we're already planning our next trip back--definitely going to be regulars from here on out. Everything is made from scratch with fresh, high-quality ingredients, and you can taste the care and love that goes into each dish. Their menu is creative and diverse--think insanely good hand-crafted sandwiches, burgers that are huge and perfectly executed (juicy patties on toasted buns, cooked exactly to order with complex, flavorful toppings), hearty salads, quiches, sloppy joes, and daily specials that keep things exciting. We tried a mix of items, and nothing disappointed; flavors were bold, portions generous, and every bite was packed with that homemade goodness. The homemade desserts and rocking sweets are worth saving room for too--they're the perfect finish to an already stellar meal. The vibe is cozy and welcoming--cute little spot with indoor/outdoor seating, great service that's attentive and friendly (staff makes you feel like family right away), and it's in such a charming part of Artisan Alley next to the brewery, perfect for a casual lunch, dinner, or just hanging out. They even offer delivery and catering if you want to bring that magic home or to an event. BakeChop is the real deal--a local gem putting heart into food, family, friends, and good times. There was a market going on that we enjoyed exploring on our way over to the restaurant. It's not very big on the inside but does have tables inside and out. The meat was very juicy and flavorful. I enjoyed all the onions. It made for a solid meal. The old bay potato chips were a good pairing for the burger. My mom ordered a more traditional burger and she liked it. I noticed the bakery item display and it had a good selection. I deducted 1 star for customer service. While the food was very good, the service did not feel warm. Our server felt very cold and was short with us. She never once cracked a smile and it almost felt like we might have been bothering her by just being there. I was able to find parking just down the street, but there is not really a lot of parking in the downtown area of Deland, so be forewarned. The outside is quite unassuming, and as the place only takes up a single "slot" in the row of shops along the main street, it is quite narrow inside. Not a problem for me, as I was alone, so taking up a small table near the entry was not a problem. I was greeted when I walked in and told to sit anywhere, so the small table was perfect for me. Inside is decorated relatively sparsely, but it is appropriate. The menu is what you would expect in pretty much any pho house, if you have been to a few. I went for a standard beef and meatball pho and the summer rolls, as I do love a good summer roll. They of course came out first, and I started in on them as I read my book and waited for the pho to come out. Both dishes were quite good, and if I am in the area I will absolutely be returning.
