I wanted the carpet cleaners to see my carpet because my rooms are enormous, they're not regular 250sqft rooms more like 380sqft. I used this company to refinish my front stairs. I put in a light color hardwood and wanted the stairs to be stained lighter to match and specifically said to remove orange. they stained my stairs more orange than they originally were and do not match the floors . Worst part is the actual job they did. they did not put plastic at top of my stairs and dust went through my entire upstairs when one sheet of plastic would have saved us the $400 cleaning bill to clean the dust off every wall and item we owned. they did not cover any of the fire alarms. they let the alarms go off the entire day. we had to replace to fire alarms because of the amount of dust that accumulated in them. They got stain all over the kickplate of each stair. i asked them to come back and they painted the kickbacks but got paint on each and every stained step now. lastly they gave me a contract that said they were charging me $100 more for good bona products. they ended up using minwax and still charged me. they were more expensive than the previous company whom did my other two sets of stairs. which match perfect and had no problems but I needed them done sooner than they could fit us in. now I know why this company was available. I have had to hire another company to redo the entire project. they have caused my family so much stress an ore money. I have pictures of everything on Google.

That water stain came up but he left other water stains and black marks all over my ottoman. When I texted him about the black spots shortly after he left he responded w a rude defensive answer telling me that he didn't leave the black marks and told me it was a stained ottoman to start with. I told him it was not a stained ottoman. Since then no one will respond to my texts or messages. Horrible customer service and expect a late arrival as others have mentioned. I was moving and needed to get the carpets cleaned, so I bought the deal and called. They were very nice, especially when I said "yes, I'd love to have it done on the 31st, like everyone else!". I added a flight of stairs for $49 as well. Received a call the day before (yesterday) giving me a two-hour window, and today, the nice guy (whose name I don't remember, sorry) called to ask if he could come a bit early? EARLY? Um, sure. Quickly got everything into a couple of rooms without carpet, gave the dog some toys, and the three rooms AND the stairs were cleaned in no time. Really, I couldn't believe it when he said he was finished, and the carpets looked GREAT. My goal is to not have carpet in the future, but if I do, I would definitely call these guys again, Groupon or not. Tips for good Yelpers: vacuum first (they are there to clean the carpets, not vacuum them for you), give your nice cleaner some water on the way out and a tip. And a "thank you". And call Beckwith!!
