They were over $100 LESS than a Toyota dealership in the Cities -- so yeah, I made an appt. During the appt they found the one serpentine belt to be extremely cracked - - so they recommend to replace. (They showed me the belt, and it's amazing that it's held up for 144k miles.) BUT....what impressed me was: a) I was able to get a morning appt no problem b) they only took 45min to replace the drivers headlight and belt c) they STILL were less expensive than what the dealership in the Cities was going to charge Friendly service, fair prices for authentic Toyota parts. I can't guarantee, but I also think they have some type of complimentary shuttle service - - cause I heard several other customers state that they needed a ride. Oh, and if you check in on your smartphone on yelp - - you get a $5 discount on an oil change.

It's a few minutes to diagnose and approx 20 minutes to replace it. They will not figure out a way to get us in. I'm 65 years old and have never dealt with a business that is run this badly. The service manager just told me that he has to take care of vehicles that have been sitting there a month to be repaired before he can look at ours. You've got to be kidding me!! There's so much wrong with this.

I did not think a new truck with a Z71 package , the all star package and a few more options was in the ballpark for me. But with the programs out their and we traded in a leased Honda CR-V ( extra 1500 incentive). We ended up with our lease payments going up 15 bucks a month for a truck that stickers for double! ( it was one with a 16% discount) It actually would have gone down 15 bucks a month but I changed the mileage to 15000 per year from 12000 on the Honda. I don't think it's fair to say the numbers but you will be surprised! The staff was easy to work with and didn't play any games. This was my 4th since they changed ownership. I have referred friends and family and will continue to do so !

He told me it was a vehicle they did work on and kept when the owner refused to pay. In fact, it was a trade in. He told me the timing chain had been replaced. In fact, I found a bird's nest on it when I changed it myself. What he did not tell me was that the frame was rusted through under the bed. It collapsed when I was rear ended, resulting in a significant brain injury with lasting effects. My son does not remember pre-TBI daddy. If I had adequate legal representation at the time, I would be 7 figures richer from their insurance policy. The amount, and quality, of intentional misrepresentation committed - not allegedly committed, actually committed and I have the receipts - by this dealership violate Deceptive Trade Practices (Minn. Stat. § 325D.43), the Minnesota Consumer Fraud Act (Minn. Stat. § 325F.69). I reached out to the dealer long ago. They didn't care. I posted a review. They said contact the dealership, so I did. They didn't respond. Show me a dealership not staffed by sociopaths. I'll wait.

My husband, children and I went to Northstar Ford on Friday, May 23rd to purchase a used truck. We…read morehad a couple in mind and a price point. We did not have to wait long because we had made an appointment with Jeff Van Meter. He greeted us and brought us in his office to do paperwork and pre-approval. I had told him right away that we wanted to do a joint vehicle loan and we are married. He said since we are married and live in Wisconsin that is the best way to go. He tried to upsell us on other trucks which is totally fine because that is their job. We took the one we ended up buying for a test drive. I told him it had a chip in the windshield which he said they would set up to replace which they did set that up a week later. We told them we wanted it. Jeff and his team started the paperwork. I know it takes some time but when the guy that did the paper work came out to finalize the paperwork it was only in my husbands name (which also meant a slightly worst interest rate because I have a better credit score even though his isnt bad). When I mentioned it to the manager he just said Jeff didnt say that. My husband was pretty frustrated with being there so long with the kids he said whatever. Now I get a letter from the bank that did the loan saying "since you are married you take responsibility if he defaults on his loan but since you weren't on the loan it wont help your credit score". They do not listen to people even though Jeff had insisted that it was a joint loan in the beginning. When my husband leaves and meets back up with my children and I, he lets me know the backup camera isn't working. After trying to get a hold of Jeff for multiple days he says that he would "check with the used vehicle repair man" to see if they would cover it. I told him I understand it is a used vehicle but it worked when we test drove it AND it was advertised on the website as having a working back up camera. After a week of him not getting back to me, I am sure we are just written off and have to "deal with it". Also, the remote start advertised doesnt work on any key fob either You are just a number at Northstar Ford and not a person. Once you leave they don't give one crap. We will not be purchasing any more vehicles here. I should have listened to a friend that went to purchase a brand new vehicle last year and was treated rudely. Lesson learned, I guess. I also left a Google Maps review and someone said that the manager would reach out to try to resolve this ASAP and that was 3 days ago.

Crapweasels. Was given the runaround on the availability of…read morea second key and then was referred to another family member who wasn'tmuch help. I picked it up and within 100 miles, there was a terrible noise coming from the front left wheel. I was a little distracted cause that within those first 100 miles, I also realized that the infotainment microphone didn't work, the gas tank lid doesn't stay open when you pull the latch, it only stays open while you pull it. So by the time I got around to looking at that issue, I realized one of the lug nuts is really worked off the wheel bolt. It was the wheel wobbling making the awful noise. This seemed super odd since it was 100 miles in, and when I pull it off the stripped lug nut falls off with a goopy lock seal dripping all over the stripped bolt. At this point, it's the Monday after Thanksgiving and this place isn't open on Monday. So I take it to a shop and while they are fixing the wheel, they inform me and show me the cracked alternator belt and confirmed the lock seal substance was recently applied. I nearly lost it at this point- minor lie about the keys but the idiot kid Asher looked like he was still learning how to shave so I let it go. Gas tank lid could have broke after I drove off the lot for all I know. But you let my family get in a car with a wobbly janky wheel? What would've happened if the wheel came off while they drove, or took a sharp turn, etc.? The application of that substance is a clear indication they knew there was an issue but wanted to save $75 fixing a wheel bolt? And no way an alternator belt cracks up in under 100 miles. But I figured I failed, I did verbally ask if there were issues but no I didn't inspect every inch of the $17k car. And I never reached out to them. I mean who reaches out to the person who flagrantly cheats them and endangers the lives of their family?? Certainly not. Now today- 3 weeks in, I learn the windshield fluid dispenser on the back window doesn't work. What else will I find? Who knows! What will you find wrong in your new Anderson Motors car? Nothing, cause hopefully you learn from my mistakes and leave these crapweasels alone.

Overall, a great experience from this local dealership.
