These guys sold us a used van with a failing transmission. They pretended as if they wanted to help make things right, but in the end were no where to be found. They constantly denied any issue being found. Even after admitted faults of wrongly filling the transmission fluid to the proper amount which I believe caused the problem to begin. Their best answer and advice to us was to trade it in to another dealer so they could wash their hands of it and not have to deal with us anymore. Standard car dealership behavior right. Timing belt went out on my wifes Nissan. Only krenzen could fox it. 990 bucks I had to pay. Within 3 weeks the timing belt went out. Called them and was told it was not under warranty due to i bought the Nissan somewhere else even though they put the part in. What kind of BS is that? So I went in directly and was told that I needed to purchase the warranty for the part at the time of them ordering it. More BS. wanted to talk to a manager or owner but no luck. The current labor/diagnostic rate is $125/hr. That means if they can tell you within a half hour that they can't get the parts to fix your car, you're only out about $70. The waiting area is quite nice and everyone is professional. It doesn't really make up for the fact that even with an appointment you can't get anything fixed within a week. I can't recommend this service department. As ever, you're better off finding a neighborhood mechanic you can trust than going to a dealership. read more

Disappointingly, we had our van to this dealer for a repair and when we arrived to pick it up, the door had a dent rendering it unable to open. Despite admitting that our vehicle didn't arrive in that condition, Krenzen takes no responsibility for our vehicle while it is in their care. So our vehicle comes back to us in worse condition than when we entrusted it to them. They said that if they had video of the incident, they would just give us the license plate number of the other vehicle. But in an unexpected turn of events, they have no video cameras on their Honda lot at all. I expected better from Krenzen. I wish that they had been honorable about caring for our vehicle while it was entrusted to them. read more

Our experience couldn't have gone smoother. We spent a little over 2 hours with the purchase of our vehicle from start to finish. Nate took great care of us and explained our car in great detail, making sure every question we may have had was answered. After multiple visits they were unable to repair my vehicle. They damaged it in the process. They refused to take responsibility for the damage. When I got angry with them, they refused any further service. All along the way they misled, lied, and gave me the run-around. Would give zero stars if it was an option. They stated on multiple occasions that I didn't purchase the car from them. On this particular point, when I was purchasing the vehicle I gave them the opportunity to match the price of another dealer, and when I did the sales associate slammed the phone and hung up. Don't buy a Honda elsewhere and expect it to be adequately serviced if you live in Duluth. read more

Buyer/ repairs needed beware. Scam/ thieves written all over this place. They get a trade in car with issues sell it cheap to one of their mechanics. The mechanic orders the parts they Krenzen and states " don't worry new parts with a warranty". Sells the car and car dies. Now the scam really takes action no one wants to help a college girl fix her car. Here is a young girl who gives back to her community and is an all around great kid. Broken car and no assistance to fix the tranny that should be covered under warranty. No money and no car. I will say Karma hopefully gets them!!! They replaced a starter in 2015 crosstour and didnt follow the trade bulletin for this common problem so the new starter was intermittently kicking out. They first said they could not find the problem but said it is operator error causing the starter to go out again. Morons...Step on brake and push the button! They refused to fix it. Later I Called because I broke down a few blocks from the dealership. They looked it up and said it was under warranty and would cover the tow and towed it in. They found the valves were all bent down and proceeded to tell me it was my fault for overfilling the oil by 1.5 quarts. This was impossible as I only buy a 5 quart jug at a time and it still had 1/2 quart in it. Then they dropped the bomb....Your car warranty expired 9 days ago. We can replace the engine with a used one for 5800 or buy it from you for 8k. Book is 17k and it has new tires and brakes. They threw the engine parts inside the hatchback ...oil everywhere..and put it in the driveway. They called me a couple days later and said I needed to remove my car from the parking lot. I was charged for the tow and diagnosing fees and hauled my piece of junk away. I found out these engines are known to have high pressure fuel pumps that blow gasoline past the valves into the crankcase. Thus the extra oil in the car. It is a well known problem that honda knows about and they cannot even sell this crap in china due to the faults. No answer to complaints to Honda. Never Again. I had a bad experience with Krenzen about 25 years ago, so it was with reluctance that I took our 2002 Honda Civic in for an air-conditioning problem. Although it took two visits to fix, I have to say they were great--polite, helpful, and even sent a driver to pick me up in order to retrieve my car. I give them a thumbs way up. read more

I don't recommend buying a vehicle from here. We had issues WITHIN 24 HOURS OF LEAVING THE LOT. The shop didn't fix it either after 3 times! The ONLY reason we purchased a car from Krenzen was because of an awesome salesperson named Craig B. Every single other person we came into contact with there was pompous, not helpful, and some were just plain rude! Craig was amazing...he took the time to help us, explained everything, had no sales person attitude at all. We went in one time to test drive it again and Craig was busy so we got some other guy. He put so little effort in, looked around told us batteries were dead so we couldn't drive the one we wanted to. I found Craig and he found a charger and got the car ready. He is a yes person...and he knew so dang much about the cars there that we could call him and ask any question and he knew the answer! Unfortunately the last time we called him, we found out he was no longer there due to not selling enough cars...wow...just wow...you had ONE guy there with integrity, intelligence, passion and you let him go?
