Long overdue review. We have been patients here for many years now and I cannot say enough good things about this office. I love the holistic aspect of their practice and the fact that Dr. P goes with the "less is more" approach, not recommending anything that isn't truly necessary. I trust him completely with mine & my daughter's dental needs. The hygienists are also super personable and take their time (we've had Mikey the last few times and he's awesome). Their technology is also top tier. It's unfortunate our insurance is no longer in network so it is pricey, but I would choose this office over any else. read more

I have not been a patient of Dr. Partrite, but was referred to him by my dentist since she was out on vacation, and I had an issue that I though may be urgent. It was the weekend, and I noticed Dr. Partrite's office is closed on Mondays, and since I was not sure how urgent my issue was (like whether it could wait safely til Tuesday or should I find another dentist), I called and left a voice message. Dr. Partrite called me back and he took the time to discuss my situation. He asked me some questions and answered my questions and was extremely helpful to me. It turns out that he was also to be out for the upcoming week, but given all the factors we discussed, he thought my issue was not urgent, and so I will set up an appointment for the following week with my regular dentist. I will of course monitor just in case and will reach out to another dentist sooner if I think anything is getting worse. I am very grateful to Dr. Partrite for being so helpful with his time discussing with me. Google was not doing me any favors in trying to figure things out on my own. read more

The people that knew our dentistry are great. I've been going to Dr. Partrite for over a decade, and another dentist at this office 10 years before that. For a brief period of time I had dental insurance that took me to another office. I immediately regretted it. I chose to pay cash and come back to this office and skip my insurance. I had a really wonderful experience here and I am so happy I found them. I love Dr. Partrite, he has a great bedside manner, he was present, calm, and not rushed during my apt. He patiently answered all of my questions and came up with a plan that felt collaborative and included me in the decisions. I think being present and having a good bedside manner is very rare in the medical field these days and something I really appreciate and this alone significantly helps ease my dental anxiety, what a huge difference that makes to me! If you are looking for a dentist, stop here! This is a great dental practice. You are greeted at the door by staff members who are happy to see you. When Dr. Partite says it's pain free, he means it. They are efficient and work with you to ensure you get the treatments you need, but not more. I recently had a cavity discovered by one of the hygienists and they got me in to have it treated and filled before it could get worse. I have never had a bad experience here and highly recommend them. read more

I have found my dentist!! I was referred to Dr. Partrite's office from another homeschool mom I'd been chatting with regarding chemicals at public schools (that's another topic for a different day!) I have chemical disability from a toxic work exposure 14 years ago that makes every day life challenging; dentists and medical offices in general are very difficult for me to spend any length of time. That history said, this was the most warm and accepting office of my disability. They went above and beyond what other places offer for me. I've had a few other dentists I have had positive experiences with, but always, the disinfectants used and lingering lysol from restrooms etc always get me in the end. After my series of new patient questions, the gal asking them said she had a product in her hair that was scented (yes, I'd noticed) and she was so sweet to ask if it would affect me. I'd mentioned if she was going to sit in close proximity yes, but I was fine at the moment. She graciously replaced herself. I so appreciated that, though she was so pleasant and helpful! My hygienist Logan was phenomenal checking in often. She even swapped out the water for me that used ozone treated water with purified water. There is an ozone air purifier too but not used while patients in the office. I didn't have any reactions to the air quality or products used which was awesome. Dr. Partrite spent about 30 minutes with me which is far more than I get with other dentists. He understood my chemical issues, was one of the few that was aware of the treatment I receive with my TMJ doctor and the FIRST never to try and tell me I needed expensive dental work done. I loved his straightforward attitude and honesty. Though this office only takes Dental Dental as a preferred provider, I'm happy to make the out of network co-payment. In the end, my health wasn't compromised and the savings from expensive "other necessary treatment" was saved. I plan or switching my kids over as well. They will love the images of live bacteria taken from plaque on your teeth shown from the microscope. I'm thankful for the referral here and a better solution for my family's dental care! read more

Argh... I cracked a crown 8 days before going on long-planned vacation... can you imagine my stress?! It takes a lot of work and usually 2-3 weeks to get a new crown. My wife recommended Dr. Partrite because he is very careful about minimizing exposure to toxins during dental procedures. I called their front desk and they told me the casting of the new crown would only take a day for emergency situations! Dr. Partrite was not available but another younger dentist was available for the 2 hour initial visit. The other dentist and his assistant (Ashley) were really careful, communicative, and thoughtful during the intense cutting/removal/scanning procedure and there were no problems. I feel so bad I forgot the nice young dentist's name!!! The next day, they installed my new crown, and again they made the procedure easy to bear, and also made sure I didn't unnecessarily inhale or swallow the work materials. A couple days later I left town and a week later everything feels back to normal, or perhaps even better than before I cracked the crown!!! Thank you New Era Dentistry for saving my vacation!! Best dental experience. I recently had an amalgam filing replaced and wanted to have it done by a SMART certified dentist who would take all the safety precautions. Best dentist I've ever had- BY FAR. All the staff are excellent, but I drive 3 hours from my house to see Dr Partrite. He's the first dentist I've ever had that takes my overall health into account with his dentistry. I was thrilled to get my oral microbiome assessed and super relieved to find someone to remove my mercury fillings in a truly safe way. The work I've had done is cosmetically beautiful. Apologies, I swear I wrote a review after my first consultation visit, but it doesn't seem to be here. Guess I wasn't logged in. ANYWAY, I knew I wanted to switch to a Biological Dentist and looked a little and didn't follow up, UNTIL, I went back to my husband's dentist that he has used for years. He was nice enough, in the beginning, and I had no reason to change. I started down a holistic path over the last 5 years and became interesting in finding a Biological Dentist. I had a few things I wanted to get done, but no hurry. I saw the old dentist as it had been a while and needed a cleaning. He informed me I had 2 cavities & oh, you'll probably need a root canal after I fill one of them since it's near the root, I needed to come back for a deep cleaning done over 2 appointments, I needed to replace an existing crown and a back molar needed a new crown. He asked a few questions and we immediately disagreed as to the use of Fluoride. I believe it is poison and does nothing to aid your teeth. The big lie. I realized in that appointment the urgency I needed to place on finding that new dentist aligned with my beliefs. So, of course, I started with Yelp. The receptionist, Elaina, was very kind, heard the urgency in my voice and found me a cancellation for 4 days later. While Dr. David Partrite was not a Biological dentist, he is a Biomimetic and Holistic Dentist. You can read about it on their website. Elaina made sure to have me transfer over my latest x-rays and fill out their new patient forms electronically (right up my alley, very convenient). My Hygienist, Jody, was very friendly and took care of me initially. Then Dr. Partrite came in for our first consultation, he asked a lot of questions & allows you to do the same. He was VERY much aligned with my new found beliefs. He spent over 1-1/2 hours in this consultation. And he laid out the game plan. Granted, I wasn't as diligent as I should have been in oral care and thus 2 cavities, that part was true. Part of that is that I didn't grow all the natural teeth most people have and my teeth are spread farther apart in some areas which allows a greater opportunity for bacteria to hide. Something NO dentist ever pointed out! However, he declared there was nothing wrong with my existing crown & did NOT need replacing, the other molar did not need a crown, he could definitely fill the cavities and spare me a root canal (the correlation of heart problems and root canals is extremely high, if not guaranteed and I swore I'd never get one), and I absolutely did not need a deep cleaning. SOLD! If you haven't figured it out by now, somebody was just ensuring their next payment for that condo in Aspen, recommending unnecessary work. I knew in that moment that I had found the right dentist! Another cool thing he does is a swab of your oral biofilm and shows you the state of your mouth on a bacterial level explaining everything using a microscope. This was a first for me and very cool! UPDATE: Just came from my first appointment to fill the cavities (non-mercury thank you very much) and filling in the missing enamel on my front tooth that I called my swimming pool. Dr. Partrite used some techniques I had never seen and I must admit, it was far more pleasant than regular dentists in my past. I think I actually fell asleep because I woke myself up snoring briefly, LOL. That was a first. It took almost 2 hours, but no root canal for me. He delivered the goods as promised and I could not be happier. In fact, after my experience, I told everyone about it, including my husband who has officially made his first appointment with Dr. Partrite next month. I've recommended him to several people already. On a side note, I see a very negative review here disparaging the staff in the office. Nothing could be further from the truth. I found every single person, engaging, happy, pleasant, efficient and friendly. (Competitor maybe?) Who knows, but it's an absolute lie! read more

I have sensitive teeth and gums and she did an excellent job without touching any tender areas. Clearly she is meticulous and a master of her craft.
