Let me just say ONE thing!!! The Oxtail Rasta Pasta - better than footprints ! After asking a friend about any new spots that have Rasta pasta I was referred to this place ! There were a few concerns, however the taste of the food allowed me to leave the four stars ! This restaurant has the term lounge included in the title however upon entry bright lights and it looks like a take-out only type of establishment. It does have the potential to set an ambiance a potential bar area and even room to fit a few two seater tables and a DJ! Well for one, when I first saw their name came up on the yep thing. I was looking at how much it will cost. If it was around my budget and so on . And, it should four money $. I said , to oh heck no. Today was the first day that I ordered fr this restaurant and I'm so glad I did. First I ordered my meal on uber eats and a minute later I received a call from the restaurant verifying my order . I was surprised and truly appreciative that the people in the restaurant cared enough to call me and make sure they gave me the right order . The food took about 20-25 minutes to arrive and when it did the food was still hot. The food was so good and SUPER FRESH! The meal tasted like it was cooked right before it was delivered . This restaurant serves up real home style cooked meals that will take you on a trip to the Caribbean. This food is so amazing and well seasoned. It seems to be empty in the evening so dining here is peaceful. The large sized food portions are enough to share but if you're like me you will find a way to eat it all alone. I just want to share my story with the community. Hi my name is jamila, my parent the people is supposed to run the business asked me to open it under my name to help them out. My name was just supposed to be on the business they was supposed to handle the full responsibility of running it. My step father name is on the lease for the building. in the time span of 2 years they have been sued by the landlord, lost the upper level of the business due to not paying the rent. Fine for not renewing the business license on time. Can't get a liquor license because they owe people money. They Haven't paid the sale tax or any bills in general. Multiple times the light and gas has been turned off. I have ask them numerous times to remove my name off the business. I've approached them with a plan to pay me 2 thousand a month to clear up the bills and sale tax they refuse in their words "they don't have to pay me shit". my name is on everything so they are ruining my life and credit with the way they handle the business. My credit was 780 now it's 500 I am in over 30 grand in debt alone from this business. I've been asking them to remove my name and they keep giving me the run around They profit about 5 thousand dollars a week in sale, but always say they don't have any money. I am tired of being used by them. I want to be able to live my life. Since they refuse to cooperate. My only option now is to file for bankruptcy. It sucks having to go that route at a young age but I can't afford the debt they cause and with them not helping me my back is at the wall. They keep telling me they will remove my name but when I contact them they make up an excuse to keep my quite. Ive taken actions by taking over the business but constantly got into fights with them they want to do thing their way. Today was the second time I had both the oxtail and stew chicken. First time it was really delicious, but I thought it was a lucky shot. Today, my mom called me to tell me she had some oxtail gravy on her jerk chicken so I decided to try the oxtail again. My son ordered the stew chicken with rice and peas and we had a smorgasbord! OMG! Now thissssss is authentic Jamaican cooking. The oxtail was welllll seasoned as opposed to oxtail doused in oily gravy. You could taste the coconut milk in the rice.
