The first guy gave us a great $ Price $ quote, sadly he was not insured (um, huge red flag to me, anything to happen we would be at fault, or a grey area, and I dont need to deal with a grey area , someone getting hurt, and or lawsuits if it came to it. The other guys $ price $ ranged was close , just a few thousand dollars apart ish. But a few thousand is a few thousand, We are a budget family, only have one provider, my wife, I am on full Disability, so I try to help her with any thing I can, sometimes it hard due to my chronic pain, really takes it out of it, but she is Amazing.. ANYWAYS, back to this ROOF. lol "Davis Roofing", It came down to what ive researched , I narrowed it to 2 companies, "Davis Roofing" . I am very grateful that they took those massive boards/beams out, since they were really warp, so they replaced them, looks great like nothing happened or wasnt repaired. No charge , it was in our quote , so Im guessing they do that for all there customers, and part of there bussiness model , which is awsome and doesnt throw a wrench into the operation of the roof, and extra fees that is already expsive enough, lol... They really want to earn your business. And trust me they go the extra Mile for you. I could go on about there company and met with the owner, nice guy.. I applied to the PACE Program for financial assistance and it was granted but I couldn't find a roofing contractor who worked with PACE. Davis had never worked with the program but Cintra Davis took the educational class to be certified so they could help me out. They did an exceptional job using top of the line materials and their crew seems to love their jobs, even doing an impeccable job with cleaning up. Michael and Cintra came by several times to check up on the progress and inspect the workmanship. I can't say enough about the company and all their employees. I have recommended Davis Roofing Group to my family and friends. They can be trusted to be honest, and to make sure you will be happy with your material and color options and very importantly, there will be NO CHANGE ORDERS which seems to be standard practice with some roofers ! He often talks to other people while on a client call or interrupts a call if someone else is calling him. It felt rude and, most importantly, like my time wasn't being respected. What really prompted me to write this review is his comment that he won't leave his driveway without a $100 service call. I already agreed to pay $395 for a full roof maintenance service, which should include inspecting the roof for any issues. Asking for an additional fee on top of that feels like he's trying to take advantage. Proper maintenance work should uncover problems without a separate service call charge. Overall, I wouldn't recommend him if you value honesty, transparency, and respect for your time.

To get a second opinion, my agent's recommended roof inspector came with $650 worth of repairs and missed the other 90% of problems that Mark found. Had I went with my agent's initial recommendation, I would've bought the house already and get hit with $5000-10000 worth of repair later on. This amount is not an overestimate since I have asked other roofing companies for a repair quote and the $5000 cost are the critical repairs. I've now seen roof reports and completed repair invoices from other homes with similar but less problems overall that costed $4500. Sometimes I question if these realtors purposely pick some of the worst inspectors who will likely miss things, which will make the house look better than it really is to help the realtors sell the house (which earns them money). Do yourself a favor when purchasing a house and pay for experienced and high quality inspectors. Don't cheap out on inspections.

I called ACS because they are experts with tile roofs. Mark was very honest with me about ACS not doing the cleaning of roofs any longer but, I was so grateful that he spent extra time giving me all of the information about my roof and who to call to clean it as well as what to look for when hiring someone. I called Juan on a Friday and set an appointment for the following Wednesday. He came on time, inspected the roof and found several other trouble areas, including the vicinity of the original leak, and another large area with a serious problem. That evening, as promised, he emailed a proposal (an itemized task list with detailed descriptions and photos/cost break-downs). We agreed to follow his proposal on Friday, and he fit our project in for the following Friday. He & his team (Ivan & Martin) came and completed the project without any issues. He then followed up with a paid invoice receipt, with photos of our roof as the repairs were being performed. He is reliable, knowledgeable, and experienced (from hands-on learning through working with his dad over the years), and works hard to provide genuine help & service for customers' needs. I believe Yelp's "From the business" section truly reflects how he and his team work hard and deliver reliable/quality roofing service. Ryan was very careful and communicative throughout the process and I felt very taken care of. Estimate Process: 5/5 Getting our estimate went great (minus the price haha). Roof Geeks came in the HIGHEST of all of our estimates, but they were head and shoulders more meticulous in their estimate as in actually getting on the roof, taking photos, and giving an actual line item breakdown. This provided transparency so I went with them. End-to-End work: 4/5 I had a few issues come up during the closing process. Some small items were missed (but resolved by the closing process, so the checks and balances implemented by Roof Geeks is in the right place), but where I had concerns was during some of their final processes, some issues/damage occurred. I won't go in to detail bc when I contacted roof geeks, they came back and resolved the issue immediately without fuss or excuses. My only suggestion to roof geeks is to have a supervisor on site during the entire latter half of the cleanup process to remove the burden on your clients of documenting issues/concerns and then having them confirm a resolution is coming in a timely manner on their own. Brazil team came over multiple times and stayed diligent from start to finish. They sourced the issue. Gave me an honest quote and tips on repairing the water stained areas on my ceiling.
