Alejandro and his crew were the most professional contractors I have worked with in Sacramento. The roof on the house I had just purchased needed some repairs and I got several quotes. I had had a leak in my roof for a while. It was where the original house met a sunroom addition. I had just chosen to be ignorant about the situation until this last winter when, with all the rains, my ceiling caved. The day I decided to deal with the situation, I called 5 roofing companies. Alex was the only one to answer the phone. I left voicemails with every other company and no one EVER called me back. Alex said he was busy that week but would text me back the following Monday, and he did. He said he would be out to the house the next day to look at it, and he was there, on time. He said he'd have a quote to me by the end of the week, and I had it. I had one other roofing company recommended to me that had done work for my family. After weeks of trying to get a hold of him and him flaking 2 times before coming out to look at the roof, I had my estimate a week later than he said he'd have it to me, and the price was outrageous! It was then that I truly appreciated Alex's professionalism and integrity. Alex is busy. And trying to coordinate schedules between work, weather, and summer vacations, it took a while for the repair to be done. But through it all the communication was always there. He always responded to my texts promptly and I knew he was trying his best to get the work done ASAP. During the repair he explained everything to me. He showed me pictures of what everything was looking like while he was doing the work. He genuinely wants to do the best job he can. The roof is now fixed and it looks amazing. I guess ultimately this winter I will know for sure how well the repair was done but I have no fear. Alex guarantees his work for 3 years. Alejandro and his team are great. He promptly responded to our initial text to set up an appointment to fix a small leak, clean gutters, and clean valleys on our tile roof. He came out within a few days to assess the situation and gave us a very reasonable quote a couple of days later. We accepted, and he came with a team of 4 on Saturday over the Thanksgiving weekend (which was in between storms -- that's dedication). He showed up right on time, and the entire team was courteous and professional. He fixed the leak, and cleaned and inspected the entire roof. He caught another small leak, some broken mortar, and a couple of slipped tiles that he fixed at no additional cost. He took pictures and clearly explained their work. We had a roof leak we had discovered over last winter. We had a few stains on the ceiling in the front room. We had contacted 7 companies wanting to get an estimate. Only two companies including A&L came out to do an estimate. The other companies either didn't return our call or two of them actually called back to say they aren't taking bids for roof repairs only re roofing jobs. I called A&L, the call was answered and we scheduled an appt for the estimate to be completed the same day! We received the estimate the following evening! He came into the house to investigate where the leak was then got onto the roof to not only check out that area but the rest of the roof as well. He took photos to show me and gave in great detail an explanation of what's going on up there, his recommendations and what he would do to fix. The estimate was broken down in parts. The other company that came out did not even get on the roof to inspect and quoted us at a ridiculous price. The communication was very prompt and professional. Always arrived on time. Cleaned up their work afterwards. I even added on a little job to fix the leak where the house and patio cover met was having. Very hard workers and have already recommended them out to a few coworkers. I will definitely call them in any future roofing needs. Called Alejandro at the last minute to have a roof tile repaired. He texted me on the day of my appointment and arrived promptly. What I really liked about him is how he took the time to explain to me what caused the tile to fall and what he was going to do to fix it. He also took a look at other places where I might encounter trouble in the future. Other places quoted me a ridiculous amount or told me it wasn't worth their time. Hello? If there's a problem with one tile, I can guarantee you that there are other places that need or will eventually need repair. Do a good job and it will lead to more jobs. I can't say enough good things about this company. My roof had a leak and I called about 10 companies. Only 3 called me back. The other 2 were making appointments 2 weeks out. A&L came out and did an inspection of my roof the day after I called. During the inspection they took several photos and explained in detail the issues with my roof. I was told what was issues required immediate attention and what I could wait on. The quote was very reasonable and luckily they were able to complete my repairs a couple days later. He was very thorough in taking pictures and explaining what needed to be done. He states he would have an estimate emailed soon. Saturday..Sunday...Monday..I text him and ask if he was still working on the quote. He replied (Tuesday) stating that they have been busy and that he would have one soon. Ok and understood... no biggie. Wednesday I get a text stating that they would be able to service my roof due to being too busy and apologize. I'm thinking if that's the case, why then LOOK at more/new work if you have more then enough?
