Due to a leak in October, which a different roofer could only quickly patch up (due to the roof being wet and slippery), we needed to do a full roof inspection, and take care of any needed repairs before the next rainy season starts. I called Juan on a Friday and set an appointment for the following Wednesday. He came on time, inspected the roof and found several other trouble areas, including the vicinity of the original leak, and another large area with a serious problem. That evening, as promised, he emailed a proposal (an itemized task list with detailed descriptions and photos/cost break-downs). We agreed to follow his proposal on Friday, and he fit our project in for the following Friday. He & his team (Ivan & Martin) came and completed the project without any issues. He then followed up with a paid invoice receipt, with photos of our roof as the repairs were being performed. He is reliable, knowledgeable, and experienced (from hands-on learning through working with his dad over the years), and works hard to provide genuine help & service for customers' needs. I called Juan regarding dry rot I noticed near chimney and the front of the house. Juan came the same day and inspected the areas and gave me a quote the next day. The quote was very reasonable. The following week Juan and his crew came and worked on the roof. Replaced shingles color was almost the same color of the roof. We called out Roof Improve and Juan came out and reviewed our roof and came back with a fair quote. We had a quote from a contractor for same job but a year ago, it was slightly lower however Juan of Roof Improve added a few details that our normal roofer didn't and would not have done such as fixing the tiles and a few other details. He removed all of the dry root, new board, new covering, new shingle metal placers, replaced tile, fixed/added tile to fix bad layout (issue), and than he painted the roof. Great honest company. Juan came out and got on the roof to inspect a minor leak I noticed after the storm. As the leak was slow and only occurred during heavy rain it was difficult to determine the exact cause and Juan explained this and proposed a solution to clean out the valleys. He sent me over a reasonable quote in a timely manner. I ended up not using roofimprove because I had some other roofing work that needed to be done at the same time and roofimprove being a smaller company, understandably did not work on extremely steep pitched roofs. Juan suggested a few companies that would work on steep complex roofs and overall was extremely helpful. I felt he was looking out for my best interest rather than just trying to secure another job. They did a very nice job fixing my roof which had a leak and caused some water stains in the ceiling. Juan came out, got on the roof, took pictures of all the problem areas and sent an estimate. Once I had a chance to review and approve the repair we scheduled. During the repair they took pictures of them replacing the felt/ tar paper under the roof tiles and also checked the sheeting boards to make sure they didn't need to be replaced. Once the repair was completed the also took pictures of the repairs they did so we could see exactly what they did since I didn't want to climb on the roof to see for my self.
