During the job, some stucco on the house was damaged while they pulled old shingles and they did repair the damage at no extra cost. Cons: They sent over a contract but it had expired by the time I was done getting estimates from different companies. I think ensuring a contract is signed before work starts would have added more peace of mind to both parties. Pros: The work was done incredibly fast and I felt they had pretty good communication while the work was getting done. They also did a good job cleaning up majority of the debris from the work which is nice. They also painted our roof fixtures to match the hickory color. I am sure costs are going to vary based on roof size, condition of roof/plywood, and etc but we got this done for under $20k which felt like a very doable price. Overall, I was happy with the job they did and the price I paid. Also, the roof looks fantastic and makes the whole house look great!

The scheduling was pretty flexible and the communication was decent. However, the week the job started, the sales manager was out of town and didn't let me know. I had no contact person to determine how the job was going, and had no one sending pics or available to answer questions about possible damage and leaks from the previous roof that I had concerns about. I finally received an email (later in the week) from the owner minimizing my concerns and still not giving any contact info from someone actually on site. On Friday, he then lets me know (no call, just email) that the gutters hadn't been done because the machine broke, and would probably be the following week. I responded with guests would be there and we had limited time. The next day we see that men showed up to do the gutters (didn't tell me they were coming) with a rented machine. The final problem was Monday. I emailed the owner again and said I wanted to look over things before the final payment, and he said Monday was my last chance before the building inspector showed up, and I would have to be there early. So I took off work, drove up there for 9am and there was no one in sight. I got on the roof with my blower, only to discover the gutter guards were not installed. When the guys showed up about an hour later) I was told that I wasn't supposed to have them. I said check again, and then they realized their mistake. I also spent 45 mins blowing the roof and gutters off. I emailed the owner again asking for a phone call to discuss some issues, and he basically blew me off. I received a follow up call from the sales manager a few days later. He was apologetic, but also a little defensive when I pushed back on some of his arguments. There were no concessions made for the timing issues, missed items, or my time that was wasted. I called around to roof repair companies begging someone to come out before the drywall gave way and flooded my bedroom. I got a hold of Roof Guys and they promised to squeeze me in. They came out and quickly found the problem - a leaky flashing around the chimney. They had to remove the tiles in the area, put a water tight seal on the flashing, then replace the tiles. I was impressed with how quickly they zeroed in on the problem and happy that they could finish the repair that day. This is definitely a 5-Star Company. They were courteous and professional and knew exactly how to fix my roof leak.
