As we walked on Hollywood Boulevard one couldn't help but be excited as you see the towering "Pantages" sign on the building! In the box office area there was a step and repeat that was packed with people taking photos. They were taking pictures of Alicia Keyes herself! I snapped a quick photo before the staff rushed us away and encouraged us to go in to get our seats. Inside of the lobby I was in love with the architecture. The sweeping staircases, plush rugs and the intricate detailing on the walls. There's even a merchandise area with friendly and knowledgeable staff. The theatre is grandiose and so lovely. I can feel the creativity and the love for entertainment in the air. The stage was huge and the performances were great! Cannot wait to come back for other shows!

Their 2025-2026 lineup was very strong and this coming season is looking very promising too. The theatre is a Los Angeles icon so not very modern amenities, but everything is kept in very good condition. We have seats on the first row in the Mezzanine section and it is great! There are only one bathroom for men & women on the 2nd level, but the attendants work them with precision and the line moves quickly. Overall the staff knows how to handle so many people with ease. For an 8pm show we get dinner at a restaurant nearby at 6:15pm then stroll in at 7:50pm with tickets in our app and head straight to our seats. No waiting in lines!

We sat in row C West seats 9&10, isle seats. Great seats, I think you could see anywhere in this theater. Closer to the floor is more interactive for the littles. I would say next time I want to sit in row B North near the doors where the actors come in and out they tend to gather there and little ones would love this. This play/musical was so good it had me thinking about it days later. Park at 222 North Orange and pay $1 with validation. You have to walk up the street a short distance to the theater. Everyone gave it their all, and you could really feel the passion. Sat in the second row nearest the stage, "best seats", and they were totally worth it, but I think from any spot in the house you'd have a good time. No section was 'ignored', so I wouldn't worry about missing out from any angle. I will definitely be back!!

Fun experience! One hour parking is limited in the plaza, but there are enough spaces that you should try first. Plenty of street parking too. Theater is located on the second floor.

All I can say is, Tennessee Williams would be UPSET that he hadn't written this amazing play! Pathos and bathos and drinking and smoking and sex and coming of age... created as we watched, with wild audience suggestions as prompts. (A boar's head heirloom, really??!). A terrific night of real theatre... which just happened to be improvised. Can't wait for the next one.
