This is a solid Chinese food restaurant in Lindenhurst. Some of our favorites from here would be the fried pork dumplings, crab rangoon and the pork fried rice. Lots of good flavors and great service. My one complaint would be that they do tend to over cook the egg rolls, but if you are into that then this is the place for you. Also order the french fries, I know it sounds weird, but you have to trust me on this.

Since I was pet sitting for my sister-in-law who lives close by, I was having a craving for American-Chinese food for dinner. The take out restaurant is located in a strip area in a decent sized parking lot. Like another review said, the restaurant name is wrong on yelp and should be Good Fortune Cookie. The appearance is your standard Chinese take out, dim lights, standard menu with lots of choices, lunch specials and combination plates. I decided to get the general tso's chicken combination plate with an egg roll and pork fried rice. The order was cooked fresh and I received it steaming hot. The flavor was overall very good and not too oily. I liked that the chicken was moist. The egg roll was also very delicious and not heavily. It was filled with shredded cabbage and small pieces of pork. The chef and counter woman were both very nice.

This is a solid Chinese food place in Lindenhurst. It's not the best I've ever had but far from the worst. We ordered from here recently and they were extremely nice and helpful on the phone. The food was good and was nice and hot when it got here. We ordered Szechuan beef, steamed dumplings, boneless spare ribs Lo mein and pork fried rice. The fried rice and ribs were really good. The Szechuan beef was good and the lo mein and dumplings were just ok. The delivery guy was nice and polite however it took over 40 minutes for our food to get here and they are literally down the block. Literally. (I didn't realize that when I ordered or else I'd have picked it up.) All in all its a solid choice if you're looking for good Chinese food in the area.

I am writing a review because I just moved to lindenhurst about 5 months ago. after many nights of searching for the best Chinese food in my area, I FINALLY FOUND IT! The eggrolls were amazing and had the best flavor! The chicken and broccoli was saucy and divine! Loved it so much! I'm happy to have found a delicious place with my favorite food so close to me!

Basically considering it a very mainstream mediocre first experience, not necessarily having me running back to fast. Figured to just order some standard staples assuming it couldn't be too strange or foreign to cuisine ordered elsewhere. Went with a Lo Mein with Pork fried Rice dinner combo special that was accompanied with an egg roll. Added a quart sized wonton soup and a Scallion Pancake appetizer, aka. Chinese Pizza. The Lo Mein had a fresh but interesting long squared shape that felt a little wider/thicker than what I recall being the norm, long rounded thinner style, with little to no real distinct flavor outside of anything you potentially added to it. The pork fried rice again standard and bland in any flavor highlights. The Wonton soup appearance a bit darker in broth color than maybe other locations, but quality of size, shaping and internal flavor was good. The scallion pancakes were just ok, not overly oily which is a plus but the scallion flavor wasn't there. The knife cuts precisely small and scattered throughout, but not enough added to actually give the flavor expected. Additionally the dipping sauce which in the past I have been told to be more of a dumpling styled sauce had an interesting, but off vinegar to soy ratio I felt. All in all just okay, but didn't exactly satisfy the craving that lead us there to try them in the first place.
